Although, I feel there's still more we need to know, we can't judge the man just like that. But, I feel for both of you to come this far, then, it was something special. Just try and keep an open mind. What will be, will be. You don't have to force it or push it. When he eventually picks your call, just make him understand you needed to know where you went wrong and all. But, if he still insists he isn't interested in the relationship, then, let him go so as to avoid "pity pity" relationship. You'll be fine. The most important thing is to try and be happy to avoid depression, because if not handled properly, it could lead to one. 5 years is really long, and if this is the first time this is happening, then, he might be going through some stuffs he feels should be handled by him, and him alone. Or on the other hand, he's having a rethink. Just be calm, try as much as possible not to lose concentration on whatever you've in your hands currently, like a job or something. It is well. glopatra: If this whole thing was done on WhatsApp, I'm sure you might not have heard about this scholarship programme. Taking things to Whatsapp kills the essence of threads such as this. Everything should be done here, at least, for future reference. As for the interview questions, I'll advise you chill and go about your normal duties, because the selection process/interview takes time. When the time comes, I believe people with information as regards the interview would assist in the best way they can. The interview time should be around March next year, so you can see it's not something one should be worried about for the now. One love Bro. 2 Likes |

flywheel: You don't need that, at least for now. Firstly, to start the application process, you've to be nominated by the department you intend applying to. Send an email (attaching your CV, Transcript and personal statement) to the programme coordinator of your department (You can check the school's website for his/her name, or check via Google) stating you want to be nominated by the department for the MasterCard scholarship programme. Note: Your desired course must be among the list of eligible courses up for scholarship for the current year. Note: This nomination process takes time, at times 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your department. It's after you've been nominated by your department you can then proceed with your application. If one is not nominated by his/her department, then, there's no need applying, because he/she won't be considered. I guess this should be enough. 1 Like |

eseh1: Well, what I'll say is this: Most of us here are applicants, so, I'm not sure anyone of us really have an idea how the MasterCard Committee go about awarding scholarships. But, I think somewhere along this thread, I guess either last year or early this year, someone said he was nominated by the department to apply, and he was on 2:1 (I don't have any idea of his CGPA), although I can't say if he eventually got the scholarship at the end. So, maybe you should just apply, after all, you're not paying a dime to anyone. The most important thing is to get admitted, because that's the only way anyone would be awarded the scholarship. But, it's still your decision. That's all I can say. Do have a lovely day. |
