I'm seriously considering the RN8 but with comparisons to RN7, I think the latter is "slightly" faster than the former. SD665 is just more power efficient and nothing more. I don't think one can play PUBG in higher settings with RN8 which is something one can do on RN7. If you already own a RN7, RN8 won't be an upgrade except you like the additional dual cameras. The price will make me know which to pitch my tent with. Hopefully we get friendly prices tomorrow.

I wish it was even the Cameras, I just wanted a higher ram and that dedicated sim slot..

I'll want to be among the people that will order for a RN8 as soon as it's available tomorrow.. But I wouldn't want it to be what I'll regret after. I still have a RN7 (up for sale anyways) 3gb ram. I wanted to get the RN7 6gb ram version but the gurus in the house advised me to wait for the RN8.. With this information now, I'm so confused

Is the night sight on GCAM only meant for the selfie camera? Cos anytime I try using the rear camera for night sight, the app crashes.

Also in Portrait mode, I can't click up to two pictures at a go with the selfie cam cos it'll crash..

The reviews aren't bad.. Just few critics.. I already own a RN7 so I was hoping the RN8 would be a huge upgrade.

The RN8 is a very good phone just like the RN7.

It's perfect for people who do not have the RN7 already.
