Sent my passport to Abuja via DHL (my biggest mistake knowing lagos is closer to me) everything went smoothly until a third party tried to collect on my behalf. He was told in Abuja that he needed the collection slip which I don't have since I didn't submit myself.

I was advised to pay a sum of 37,420 for collection of two passports to their sterling account. Since 22nd of June I haven't received any response. No email, no tracking, nothing. Webchat (Akin) today abruptly ended our chat without been helpful.

Please who knows the solution to this sort of issue cos I'm feed-up. My medical appointment is on Wednesday but original passport is no where to be found.

THAT AKIN ON VFS WEBCHAT IS AN IDIOT. I don't know if Akin is a he or she but whatever, that person should not be chatting with people on VFS webchat, the AKIN person is such a disastrous customer service provider. Personally I am beginning to think the VFS webchat might actually be an AI chat reply system because they cannot resolve any issue in real time.

Timeline for my wife and i
Applied - 17th February 2023
Biometrics - 6th March 2023
BVL - 12th April, 2023
PPR - 7th June 2023
Submitted Passport through DHL - 8th June 2023
Received Passport/Visa through UPS - 23rd June 2023

How much did you pay VFS for them to mail the two passports yours and your wife passport to you guys.

From my own experience, I submitted my son's passport at Lagos,d guy at UPS told us to pay 9930 but we refused, later on we got a call from vfs to send d money and forward the receipt to an email

Thank you for answering my questions, I will have to wait for them to call my wife or send mail. Although my wife did biometric in Lagos and her Passport was submitted in Lagos including the children passport inside her package to VFS. Some people are saying that if you submit passport for the minor alone without the parent passport, you will pay transmission fee but if you are submitting Parent passport to VFS and include passport of your minor children you don't pay transmission fees for the minor children. But let wait and see I will update everyone what happened.

Do 3 years old kids pay Transmission fee if they submit passports to VFS in Lagos along with their parents passports?
If yes how do I pay the transmission fees if the passports had already been submitted?
The parents did Biometric in Lagos.

If your trip is not urgent why can’t you submit it in Lagos? And for minor in Lagos won’t pay any dim. But if you send it to Abuja both of you will pay.

Different btw Abuja and Lagos now is not up to a week sha
