Tinubu cannot tell states to start generating power and go to sleep. There must a strong legislation that compels them to devote a significant fraction of their budget to power generation, transmission and distribution.

The federal ministry of power must work with state commissioners of power to see to it that states are steadily making efforts to take charge of their own power dynamics.

I always say that running a country is no rocket science. We just have the worst of us running this country. Nigeria doesn't have a long way to go; Nigeria hasn't even started at all.

So, the Supreme Court will not take on the 2027 elections since they are still occupied till 2030.

PDP National Secretary Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has emerged victorious in the first round at the Supreme Court. His request for an accelerated hearing of his appeal was granted today.

The appeal seeks to overturn the December 20, 2024, split ruling by the Court of Appeal in Enugu, that ordered his removal as the legitimate National Secretary of the Party. However, this decision has not yet been implemented due to a stay of execution granted by the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in January 2025.

The Supreme Court's hearing is set for March 10, 2025, with the possibility of a judgment on the same day. We are highly confident of victory. ✌️

Today's ruling is especially important considering that the Supreme Court schedule is booked through to year 2030. The conspirators had hoped that the hearing will pend until the end of Senator Anyanwu's term in December 2025 and subsequently becomes an academic exercise, just to further their own agenda. Case in point. The Xhosa and Zulu tribes have languages that are to some extent mutually intelligible in comparison to All the igbo dialects that exist.

The each recognize their differences but are in consensus of their united Origin stemming from the Nguni language. There is no confusion there.

This is the same case with the Ikwerre question. It remains a dialect of the largre Igbo language regardless of the differing dialects that exist amongst the igbos in general.

The Ikwerre have every right to self actualize as a distinct group from the other unified Igbo groups however they are for all intent and purpose Igbo in origin.

Efik and Ibibio are similar up to 85%. So can you say an Ibibio person is an Efik or vice versa?
