Not everyone will get notified about their stream so you have to check the Nysc portal (on the day stipulated for posting ) if you are in stream 1 you will see "Print posting letter" but in the case of stream 2 you will get a sorry message informing you to check back.

Usually its 48 hours, but during my time a guy came after the portal has been closed, Only God knows the excuse he gave and they had to place a call and the portal was reopened so he could register. So standard delay time is 48 hours.

I sure will not argue with him, since he has chosen to believe what he feels is right, thats y ppl hardly learn in this part of the world. I registered the first day and we were more than 5 that same day i know of, but when the posting started we feel on separate stream. I knew this long b4 i even registered cos my sister registered on day 1 and her posting was with stream 2 so i see no reason arguing or wasting my time correcting who don't want correction.

Almost all Batch A corpers that register 1st and 2nd day the portal on NYSC was opened for registration got mobilized for stream one.

For those that wishes to go with stream 1, be at alert to register early wherever you are when the portal is open for reg by Oct. 23rd I think.

And if you dnt wish to go with stream one for financial reason or ur busy work schedule, dnt reg early when the portal is opened.

I beg to differ, The day of registration doesn't in anyway guarantee your stream, stream placement is at random. The only benefits of early registration is to get more options on states of deployment. Someone who registered on the last day may fall on stream 1 while someone who registered on day one may fall into stream 2.

When in camp? Or b4 going to camp. The only document you make photocopy of in camp is the registration form given to you at the successful completion of registration, the form contains your state code.
But prior to camp you have to sign your green slip and make 3-5 photocopies, photocopy your call up letter, Statement of result, medical fitness, Make sure you have your school id(unless you are going with your original result).
