onatisi: if u have over 500k to spend on traveling to japan why cant u spend like 30k to learn something that will fetch u millions anywhere u go worldwide?
this mentality u have was the same i had before leaving nigeria well i later did what i was supposed to do in Nigeria in comfort with hard labor here.get a mason tell him u will pay him , he wont treat u like a laborer and he will show u ,it will only take u 4 weeks to learn , well it is ur choice . bye

there is no country where there are no building.construction jobs abound in any and i mean any country u go to,hether it is malaysia,china ,libya,south africa just name it once u have building skills u will get a job fast and make cool cash.

ogakpatakpata: Very difficult to say, check online and see the jobs available, l will also advise that u arrive dubai first, even if u dont find ur kind of job, start with whatever ur hands find to do, when u start working, u can then begin to look for ur kind of job.This is my 2cent advise.

onatisi: well bros i cant say but hustling is difficult if u have no skills .that is the truth it doesnt matter hich country u goit is the skills u poesses that matters.trust me on this i am telling u this from bitter experiences and lessons .i am not talking about unversity degrees outside naija all those degress are worthless .the first question a white man will ask u is what can u do ?

onatisi: my big bros ,my experience was about 4 years ago.all i can say is that their visa fees is cheap but but but they rarely give people .it is very hard .most people that go to japan either move through singapore or korea .

MRbrownJAY: i was living in Tokyo and life over there is no different than anywhere else around the civilized world. the language barrier might be a little troubling at first but then if you start to speak it then it will get much easier for you.
jobwise: if you dont speak japanese, you will have to probably find an english speaking firm that deals exclusively with the US (very hard to find) or work in a bar/club that caters exclusively for a foreign crowd(roppongi).
if you havent got a valid working visa, dont expect finding a well paid decent job.
Foreigners are well respected in Japan (blacks included) there are few odds of people who might not want to deal with a black man but that would probably be because of the foreigners that have been over there and made a fool out of themselves and the rest of us.
japanese are very respectful people, have good manners and as long as you come correct, people will mostly treat you the same way.

there are a bunch of nigerians in Tokyo and a great deal will be found working in Roppongi, the "foreigners playground". there are many Nigerian/ghanaans owned businesses over there from clubs/bars to restaurant.
be ready to be blown away by how amazing this country is.
as for the small bits and pieces:
- you always have to take off your shoes when going inside a home
- bowing when greeting someone is advised
- if you are lost, just ask anyone around and they will gladly help.
- wherever you eat, you will be given a warm cloth before the meal (oshibori). you should always use it to clean your hands (even if you just clean them) but never let it touch your face.
- if you like to eat fruits and vegetables at home, be ready to spend an incredible amount for that privilege in japan.
- japanese cannot pronounce the letter R and some form of L when speaking english.

justwise: Yes you said that cos u knew that its not easy to differenciate between fake and original visa especially for somebody who hasn't seen or used one before. When that person gets to the airport the whole truth will come out and by then you have taken the money and disappear.

ogakpatakpata: U are very correct and spot on with your analysis. l totally agree with you, anyone living or working in Dubai knows u hv said the whole truth.l still believe that the best bet of coming to Dubai to work is to get ur 2months visa + prayer + the Grace of God, avoid agents as much as u can.
