You are right Bro, I met 5 naija guys onsite working under a subcontractor, when they told me their ordeal, I felt so bad for them.
The agent told them that they will be earning 2500aed +accommodation and transportation, and he promised them painting job, but on getting here, they are the one doing both painting and some architectural modification jobs with a low income of 900aed.
There is no going back for them since the money they paid for the direct employment is nonrefundable. its just a pure slavery, working like donkey without a good accommodation and better pay.

Did you travel with employment visa? I thought 3 months visiting Visa ought to exit Dubai and re-enter with employment visa.

it baffles me when we are complaining of corrupt politicians who milk the economy dry thereby driving us to seek greener pasture in other part of the world
the lucky ones who has crossed over down there and witnessed how easy and conducive it is to achieve success ones life desire with hard work and diligence and suppose to act as guide to those willing to work hard to attain their desired goal.
some people down there in u.a.e who has started finding their feet and smelling success and in fact started building houses and buying cars in Nigeria would turn around and dupe fellow Nigerian like himself who might be a graduate without job and started riding okada to survive and making daily contribution from his okada riding with the aim of going to u.a.e
and you down there would collect his hard earned okada money with the promise of securing visa for him and then wahala would start after you have collected his money with promise upon promise thinking you are far away..
i was a victim of such act and up till now am yet to find my feet because the money that took me nearly 3 years to gather fell into the wrong hands who is in dubai building and buying cars in Nigeria not until he was threaten with dubai police and immigration coupled with dealing with his family in nigeria before he started refunding part of the money..
i got to know some honest and straight forward individuals on this thread who help with visa but i won't name names because the thread doesn't allow it.
you that collect money from innocent struggling nigerian to enjoy or do other business over there and thinking you are far away have you wondered why many nigerians who return home are murdered or kidnapped when they are supposed to be enjoying their successes because the person you ruined his life would not stand still and one day you must return home and unless you die and you were buried there and remember the sins of the father shall be visited upon the son.
please don't deceive desperate youth like yourself in the name of visa of his hard earned money and yet we say our politicians are corrupt
what goes up must surely come down ..
i pray we all enjoy the fruit of our labour..
if you help with visa because you are there and making 20 or
30k out of it i felt it enough than trying to take away all his hard earned money..
may the fear of God guide us all
