I SUSPECTED THAT

One day a woman wanted to know how the husband would react if she left without telling him she was leaving him.. She decided to write him a letter saying she was tired of him and didn't want to live with him anymore. After writing she put the letter on the table in the bedroom and hid under the bed to wait for him.
When the husband came home, he saw the letter and read it. He then wrote something on the other side of the paper and began to sing and dance. He changed his clothes, brought out his phone, dialed someone and said, 'Hey babe, I'm just getting ready then l'll join you, as for the other fool it has finally dawned on her that I was fooling around with her and she has left. I was wrong, very wrong to have married her, I wish I had known you earlier. See you soon darling!' Then he walked out of the room and left.
In tears and very upset, the woman got out from under the bed and went over to read what the husband wrote on the paper. It said...
'I could see your feet sticking out from under the bed, I didn't make any phone call. I am going out to buy you your favorite ice cream. Stand up, stop your silly games and prepare my dinner, I'm starving, I LOVE YOU!!!

LAGOS—Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Professor YemiOsinbajo has demanded N2 billion as damages from the presidential spokesmanof the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode for alleged publication and dissemination of defamatory statements against him.Professor Osinbajo is also asking for immediate retraction within seven days of the offensive and derogatory publication as well as apology on four TV channels and four national newspapers circulating in all parts of Nigeria.In a letter addressed to Mr Fani-Kayode byLagos lawyer, Mr Femi Falana, SAN, on behalf of Osinbajo, he is complaining of a statement made by the PDP presidential spokesman which was broadcast on Channels TV and published in several newspapers alleging that “Osinbajo made a secret oath with Senator Bola Tinubu to be his surrogate as Vice President for a period of six months to be followed by his resignation.”According to the statement, “the direct meaning of the false defamatory statements is that Professor Osinbajo is deceitful and that his characterisation of Osinbajo as a “stooge”suggests that he is complicit in a fraud against the Nigerian people.“Professor Osinbajo is participating in a device that constitutes subterfuge and lacks integrity, in concert with others who you also characterise as evil, insensitive, wicked, selfish and desperate.“Professor Osinbajo, who is a pastor, professor of law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria has engaged in conduct that is incompatible with his faith, role/ethics as asenior and respected lawyer“We therefore demand immediate retraction of the offensive and derogatory publication and apology on four TV channels and four national newspapers circulating in all parts of Nigeria and damages in the sum of N2 billion.

There was mayhem on Wednesday at Oshodi, a bustling suburb of Lagos, southwest Nigeria, as hoodlums went on the rampage, setting vehicles and houses ablaze.
P.M.NEWS gathered at press time that three persons had been killed while scores of people were seen fleeing the area.
The fighting that started at Olosha area between members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers and some PDP youths last Thursday spread to Mushin and Oshodi.
Since the crises started several lives and properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed. Last week several commuter buses were also set ablaze at a bus park at Oshodi.
The crises at Oshodi have disrupted activities in the area and commuter bus operators have avoided plying that area.
When our reporter attempted to visit the scene of the mayhem on Wednesday, people were running in various directions to avoid being attacked by the rampaging thugs.
When contacted, Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, promised to get back to our correspondent but failed to do so at the time of going to press.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that the police have arrested over 20 members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in connection with last Thursday’s clash between the National Union of Road Transport Workers and some PDP youths at Oshodi.
Reacting to the arrest, the campaign team of the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, accused the police of arresting PDP members at the behest of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to frustrate the campaign of Agbaje.
According to a statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Remi Adefulu, the campaign team said the APC’s “tactics would not deter Agbaje’s resolve to win the coming election in a free and fair contest.”
Adefulu accused the police at the Mosafejo police station of going from house to house to effect the illegal arrests of PDP members, an allegation the state Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, dismissed as unfounded.
