Some people like making mountain out of mole hill and belittling/discouraging others is there hobby. They are the ones who will tell you not to go to SA schools but they would be collecting money from others to do it for them (that's their means of livelihood anyway). They will tell you that there is no job in SA but they are making a living there.

My people, do not allow anyone to discourage you. That which you have set your mind to do, do it. If you succeed you will be glad. If u fail, u have a story to tell and lesson to learn.

The guy never asked anyone to construct a letter for him. He only demanded to be directed on the supposed content of the letter which someone happily did with 2 samples.

Many have asked their ways to success through this forum (Seun be blessed)... So bro, never stop asking even the silliest of questions, there will always be someone to attend to you and if you don't get an answer, ask again. anyone who doesn't like your question should either ignore or say rubbish at his or her peril.

MY QUESTION: how much is a cup of egusi in SA grin

OK.
I don't intend travelling within the period cuz of other engagements I have presently. So, how do I go about it.

Are you saying I should forget about using the visa once the period of the conference is over but my 3 months validity is still on? or can I be stamped in if I have a good explanation plus other documents including confirmation of hotel reservation?

Btw, how will they detect the reason for my visit when what is stated on the visa is "visit" not conference... I want to have adequate information that is why I dey ask all these questions.

Thanks.
I need a reply abeg ooooh

Immigration will not asking you any questions when u have valid visa with your confirm hotel reservation. Yes u can use your visa with the conditions on the visa. Please have it in mind there no room for Visa extension in SA Thanks
Tnx for the kind response Femi. Are you saying they won't know the reason for my visit Ab nitio is the conference? or it is not necessary why I was issued as long as I travel within the 3 months period of the visa validity?

Please I need good responses again.

Just to add to what I've written because I saw someone asked why Nigerians are been deported at Point of Entry in South Africa. The reason is most Nigerians are not tourists. They intend to come and stay. The immigration officers already know this and they target and single us out whenever we land. Even Ethiopian airlines collect a repatriation fee of $150 from every Nigerian passenger and it's refundable after 5 working days if you do not have any issues with the immigration.
So how do they differentiate real Nigerian tourists from the fake ones or they just guess and waste people's visa fee and flight fare. If they don't want Nigerians at all they should simply state it.

South African visa is easy provided you have the required documents. I used an agent for my first visa to be honest since I never really knew how the process works. Went there with my wife and we were almost bounced back at the airport. They bounced about 10 Nigerians in front of us that day in J'oborg without asking any questions but they didn't bounce us because my wife holds an EU passport. Nigerian passport is finished everywhere! Anyway fast forward to last month I applied myself at vfs, paid the fee and paid for the hotel with my international credit card (Since Buhari don finish the financial sector) also included the properties we own in Capetown and I got my visa the date I put I was gonna travel. I still haven't used the visa due to other commitment. One thing I noticed tho was the huge crowd at the vfs collection center. There were about 200 of us who came to receive their visas!

Make SURE your hotel is PAID FOR!!! Do not go with a booking.com or hotel.com reservation. They denied people like crazy. I don't know what Nigeria is turning into. They only give according to the number of days on your hotel. I booked 14 days hotel stay in Stellenbosch Capetown and I was issued the exact two weeks multiple entry. And please beware of agents since South Africa verify bank statements now and your hotel reservation. I know from people who I saw were refused. They asked for their genuine bank statement to be submitted before they can issue them a visa. They also included a white paper between their passport explain why they were refused.

South Africa is an AMAZING place to live in!!!! If you live in Capetown you'd never want to go back to this crazy hell of a place called Nigeria. I see reasons why Nigerians don't want to return but it's also necessary we go through the right procedure of staying permanently not by overstaying our visas.
Nice writeup. But how can they bounce people without proper verification. That's very wrong because this people must have gone through the right processes to be granted visas or are they implying that the issuing officers aren't discharging their duties accordingly.

To the best of my knowledge one can only be denied entrance if he or she isn't with the documents required at the POE.

Gurus in the house should say something about this.

Its a right to be my own boss ..u can choose to be who u r that is if u are truly what u claim to be . I am not proud neither am i taking pride in boasting over what i do . yea for I already know that pride comes before a fall. . to stand up for ur self and maintain a vast business in naija in 14 yrs is no joke ask .I was a boss to myself then my family and then to others .its not pride but responsibility ..mark that one. but lets put that aside ....

if you dont have anything meaningful to offer to such issues raised .I think it's better u stay silent . Ur not the only person on nairaland that has seen what i wrote . even the Mods have seen it and kept silent for reasons best known to them . u decided to run your mouth like u know it and show the world what stuff ur made off . I never asked for ur opinion. not to talk wheter I have even gone back to page 0 (first page) of this thread (topic) or not . ..i know I will find my way to UAE and come back and tell u teh story that i was there .. expereince counts for me .
I never presented my point in a bad manner. I only did it in a freestyle understandable to any man with sense of humor.

Mind you this is a forum and when u ask any question without directing it to specific persons any one is free to contribute (not only the mods). That was what I did.

You can choose or claim to be whatever to your family... But you are an unknown fellow, so, you are a nobody.

If you like visit United Abeokuta Emirate (UAE) na u sabi, many have gone there b4 u and many are presently at MMIA going there.

This is not the issue of provoke or not . u sounded as if ur telling one of ur huslers what to do .I am not .mark that . I wonder how someone out there would just label everyone crooked when u do not even know the person... making a step to travel to dubai to see what business I can venture into shouldnt be ur headache .. its still obvious ur immature in how you approach issues .i never directly asked for ur opinion .u only try to sound so immodest and that is what ppl like u r
I pity your employees; that's if you have any. Boastful because of the peanut you make from your so called "14 yrs business"

Your problem is that you find it difficult to understand written words and lacks sense of humor.

Tata, since you didn't understand my writeup, let me explain:

Firstly, I told you to visit page 0 (first page) of this thread and you will see the easiest way to go about your visa without paying any agent. I was only trying to help because you hardly find sincere visa agents and this thread does not promote such.

Secondly, I used the word "hustlers" to refer to some of us who go to the UAE with the intention of staying there to work. So, I assumed you are not one since you run are business in Nigeria and plan on coming back.

Thirdly, I was only trying to tell you that only those with no intention of coming back go through the risk of contacting agents (ie the crooked way) but since u are sure you will come back, then it would be better to go through vfs, Emirates etc (the straight way) as pointed out in page 0 of this thread.

Please do not label yourself immodest because I didn't ask you to give me the visa money. I'm only contributing because I have learnt a lot from this thread and it's nice to give back.

Finally, despite our altercations, I will still advise you to go back to page 0 (first page) of this thread (topic) and see how you can get your visa by yourself within a week.

STOP BOASTING BECAUSE MANY HERE RUN MORE PROFITABLE BUSINESSES THAN YOU BUT WILL NEVA DISCLOSE IT. YOU CAN ONLY CLAIM BOSS FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES AND FAMILY.

u registered here on nairaland on April 08, 2016 and start talking anyhow about people who seek crooked way or the righteous path ? i dont blame u at all . U r a child and I dont know why try to talk more on what is of no relevance..

but then sorry to disappoint u a 14 yrs successful biz venture u cant rubbish . so i don't have to say but to see the child in u . and don't ever comment on my post again .
Funny how people react without reading. I was only trying to point you in the right direction "Mr. 14yrs Businessman". I was actually trying to tell you that instead of looking for an agent that will charge u higher (and may even scam you), u can actually do it yourself at a cheaper price since u want to come back after the visit. Dubai visa is the easiest to process. The only reason people look for agent is if u want to stay back to hustle (work or do business) but do not want to loose the lump sum security deposit. Next time try to comprehend a post before reacting to it.

I registered this year, so what? do i need to be a mod or Seun to make my point..

Businessman my foot; Dangote should sew suits with bags of cement and spaghetti and make cap with cartons of sugar...

Businessman that has never travelled to know that Dubai visa is processed between 1 to 14 days. A friend on this thread even got hers after 5 working days.

Do not provoke me oh.

I have a profitable business venture i'm running here in naija .. u know what it means to leave all that to someone ...I cant just leave my 14 years old business in the hands of somebody no matter the best hands i have .once they even know u r off for a week they start messing up .and yes I plan to come back..not everyone has the mind to disappear into thin air once they land in UAE .my intention to travel is to look into what i could be able to go into and start marketing here back in naija . I can as well make the $1,000 deposit as proof of my coming back since i have a family to come back to . If you can settle this for me then we can be better off to do this .i'm all open to new ideas.
Mr. Copies why seek for a crooked path when there is a straight path to what u seek. If u really want to come back afterwards and ready to pay the security deposit, then, go to the page 0 of this thread and follow the instructions therein and your visa would be ready in 1 week... I have said it b4. the path u seek is for hustlers with no intention of coming back.

I know diz is a DIY thread but I couldn't cuz of the stringent conditions attached to going through such process so I'm taking the other route***

Now, my confusion is dat I hv contacted 2 guys. one claims he can do it for me but the second told me there is ban on Nigerians especially doz below 40.

Please gurus in the UAE, should I continue the process with the second guy or is there actually ban on Nigerians?

I need this advice asap to enable me know my next step cuz exchange rate is really dealing with savings.

thanks.
justi, natty, kog45 and anybody in the uae should please help to answer this question... Please oh.
