Today, I bring you some list of things not worth trying if you have not tried them because most if not all of them are addictive.
According to MerriamWebster dictionary, addiction is a strong and harmful need to regularly have
something (such as a drug) or do something
(such as gamble). While an addict is a person who likes or enjoys something very much and spends a large amount of time doing
it, watching it, etc.

1. ADDICTION OF INFEDILITY: According to Wikipedia, infidelity include cheating, adultery (when married), netorare (NTR), being unfaithful, or having an affair) is a violation of a couple's assumed or stated contract regarding emotional and/or sexual exclusivity.
infidelity, when practised constantly is deemed an addiction to addultery or cheating as the case. Infidelity; scipturally is a sin as seen in Mat 5:31-32, Deu 24:1-4.
2. ADDICTION TO MASTURBATION: Masturbation is a common activity among the youth but also a dominant act among some adult. Physically, it has no side effects but sure has other side effects. For instance, emotionally, the perpetrator experiences guilt, shame and in some disgrace. Socially, masturbation can make you cancel plans with friends or family and even make you miss important social events. Medically, research has proven that masturbation can cause fatigue, weakness, early ejaculation, may also inhibit sexual activities with your
partner, injury to the penis, vision changes, lower back pain, testicular pain and also hair loss. Don't venture into masturbation as it is addictive.

3. GAMING ADDICTION:

Gaming (video gaming) has become rampant today with the advent of sophisticated computers and video games. While many people think of
video games as a past time enjoyed by children
and teenagers, the Pew Research Center
found that 49% of adults play video games on either their computer, television, game
console, or a portable device such as a cell
phone or tablet.
Video game addiction is a serious disorder
characterized by excessive game play and
disturbances in normal life functioning. There are two major types of video games and
therefore two major types of video game addictions.

1.
Standard video games are generally designed to be
played by a single player and involve a clear goal or
mission, such as rescuing a princess. The addiction in
these games is often related to completing that mission or beating a high score or preset standard.
The other type of video game addiction is associated
with online multiplayer games. These games are
played online with other people and are especially
addictive because they generally have no ending.
Gamers with this type of addiction enjoy creating and
temporarily becoming an online character.

The negative effects of video game addiction are feelings of restlessness and/or irritability when
unable to play, preoccupation with thoughts of previous online
activity or anticipation of the next online session, lying to friends or family members regarding the
amount of time spent playing, isolation from others in order to spend more time
gaming, increased aggression, poor performance, obesity for kids who are glued to their console instead of participating in physical activities.


6. INTERNET ADDICTION: This is also known as as problematic internet use, refers to refers to excessive Internet use that interferes with daily life. (Wikipedia).
As adolescents (12–17 years) and
emerging adults (18–29 years) access the internet
more than any other age groups and undertake a
higher risk of overuse of the internet, the problem
of internet addiction disorder is most relevant to young people. Its effects include psychiatric disorders
such as personality disorder and mental retardation.
According to a Korean study on internet/computer
addiction, pathological use of the internet results in
negative life impacts such as job loss, marriage
breakdown, financial debt, and academic failure.

7. BEHAVIOURAL ADDICTION: Behavioral addictions are addictions that
occur in people that do not have to do with
an actual substance. A behavioral addiction
is when a person has an addiction to an
activity, not drugs or alcohol.
One excellent
example is gambling addiction, but some people have addictions to other things like
sex, porn, stealing, lying, backbiting, killing etc. All these activities, when engaged in them can be addictive. Take for instance, a thief (someone who steals), when he first stole and not get caught or even though he gets caught, will definetly repeat the act a second time. And if he eventually repeat it a third time, it automatically becomes an addiction. He will always want to steal when he sees an oppurtunty to do so.


In all these acts, an addict will never live a productive life. Don't indulge in any of the above for the are addictive. This might seem esoteric, but the fact remains that when you get hooked up in any of these addictions, to eccape is always another work. So desist from them and live a happy life and productive life.

But did I forget to tell you that God can help you out? Ofcourse he can if only you will want to repent. So go to Him and He will help you out.

First of all, you have to uninstall your Whatsapp from your device.
