Nollywood actor, Egbuche Boyd, has publicly renounced his ex-girlfriend, Chizzy, whom he broke up with in September last year. According to a post he shared on his Facebook page, Egbuche said he is publicly announcing their separation after receiving death threats.

This note will serve as a prove of my clear conscience and innocence. Chizzy broke up with me on the 25th of September 2017 after a little misunderstanding and exchange of words over the phone. She moved on with a guy called sage and has been happy with him ever since then. I know I’ve tried getting her back in many open and genuine ways…through friends from overseas and friends from nollywood. Even through her own friends and cousins…but I got a strange text today being 09/04/2018 at around 13:00 hours asking me to warn her to stop seeing sage. That the guy sage belongs to their Queen and that their said Queen is angry that she is sharing her man with her. And have ordered a hit on her. Actually the person behind the text said he/she couldn’t do it knowing her as my girlfriend because I’ve saved him/her once and that he/she is now paying me back by not harming her.(mind you I don’t know this person because I’ve actually saved allot of people) so the person is asking me to warn her to stop seeing sage or they will Bleep her up! Now I don’t know what that means. I am about making it open to everyone that we’ve gone our separate ways since September 2017 and that she stopped visiting or passing her nights in my house ever since then. I don’t want to have any problems with cultist or anybody for any reason. I’ve got my life goals to Archie. And I’ve actually passed her the message of warning. God is my witness…because I’m feeling and sensing trouble or danger and I don’t like the feelings.

It seems the alleged ex-girlfriend of Big Brother Naija top housemate, Tobi, seems to be going wild with disclosures from the past about the reality show star, who she claimed she dated in Unilag.

According to a self acclaimed Tobi’s ex-girlfriend, who expressed her bitterness after she met a Twitter user named Tobi after church.

Twitter user @alexlobaloba who shared the story about the unnamed Tobi’s ex-girlfriend wrote;

I met this stranger and she started telling me about how she hates Tobi #BBNaija so much, how the guy dated her back then in Unilag and also slept with her friend. I could feel the bitterness in her expression. After the conversation, she asked for my name I told her Chibuzor.

I guess he cheated on her blablabla… Who cares anyways? Real life o….after church today

Before now, Tobi Bakre, a 23 year old banker who graduated from Unilag, had been accused of breaking the hearts of many ladies in the school.

A Twitter user @ChiefWale_ narrated How Tobi also snatched his girlfriend from him 2 years ago. He wrote

“I haven’t seen any part of the BBN yet because in transit but I hope that Tobi guy gets out of the house ASAP. The stupid boy snatched one babe from me 2 years ago.”

The dark-skinned, handsome, and muscular young man is only just 23 and he from Ogun State. He is a Photographer and Investment Banker, who enjoys associating with people and playing football.



The graduate of the University of Lagos is from a wealthy home and resides in one of the top-notch areas of Lagos State. Tobi Bakre made this list “Meet The Rich Kids Of Nigeria & Their Flamboyant Lifestyle” in 2013 and also in 2017. The list is reserved for the creme de la creme of the society.

First runner-up in the just concluded Big Brother Naija, Cynthia Nwadiora, aka Cee C, tells TOFARATI IGE about her time in the house and her future plans

When did you decide to participate in Big Brother Naija?

A few weeks after I saw the advert on Instagram, I decided to attend the audition and I was successful.

Did you share your plans to participate in the reality show with your family?

No, I did not tell anybody.

How did they react when they found out you were going to be a housemate?

They know I have always wanted to be on TV, so they were not surprised about my decision. The fact that I made it into the house despite the large number of people that auditioned also impressed them.

What are some of the most important lessons you took away from the Big Brother House?

I learnt to live and let live. Also, adversities are opportunities for you to shine, so make the best of it.

If you were to go back into the house, what would you do differently?

I think I would be an older version of myself; this means I would be more mature.

Was your attitude part of your strategy to win the game?

I am always myself. Everything you saw in the house was real.

What do you regret doing while in the house?

I don’t have any regrets.

What’s the next stage for you?

This is a new environment, so I am trying to get used to it. I’m looking at the opportunities I have to know the ones to go for and make money. I hope to act and I’m also a music artiste.

Were you in a relationship before the competition?

No, I wasn’t and I never thought of finding love while in the house. I was there to play a game and I planned to do whatever it took to win.

If you could date one person in the house, who would it be?

Nobody. I wasn’t attracted to anybody in the house. As regards the kind of man I like, the God factor is very important. It also has to be someone who understands and loves me deeply.

You were reportedly mobbed at the airport when you got back to Nigeria. How was the experience?

We had just come out of the house and I didn’t know what to expect. We were just in the house doing our thing; we didn’t even know if people really watched us. However, the reception was overwhelming and I felt loved. It felt good seeing so many people rushing to say hi. As for the attack on me, when you have a large crowd, such a thing is inevitable; I think it was a mistake.

People are insisting that you knew Ebuka before the competition. What is your reaction to that?

I would rather not talk about that please.

What’s the greatest misconception that people have about you?

People think I’m a bitter person and I don’t even know what that means. I am not a bitter person in any way.

If you had won the competition, what were you planning to do with the prize money?

I would have used it to finance my MBA and film school education; I still plan to do that anyway.

How would you describe your personality?

I think I am a very strong person.

What’s the reaction of your family to your behaviour in the house?

They were happy to see me. They have not told me that they were not happy with anything I did in the house.

You shared a kiss with Tobi in the house. How did it feel?

I don’t want to answer this question too.

Team Cee-C are certainly the best team of any housemate though – this recent action of theirs proves that they’re indeed lovers of the drama queen and they remain loyal no matter the odds.

The lovely, among other finalists earlier tonight, arrived the country and though it was reported earlier that she was supposedly attacked by a mob, Cee-C made her way through.

The beauty got to meet with her father and while they took a photo together, we see the lovely holding a dummy cheque of N2million which was rallied for her by her fans.



Cee-C had the second highest votes in the Big Brother Naija games but unfortunately for her, she didn’t go home with anything – she didn’t win sponsored tasks that could’ve earned her money gifts while she was in the house.

To make sure that their favourite housemate didn’t go home empty handed, they raised the sum of N2million and presented her with it upon her arrival at the Lagos airport.

Moments ago, the Lagos State Government unveiled a new statue of Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN, sited at the beautiful park in Ojota named after the late legal luminary and human rights advocate as part of activities to celebrate the late activist’s 80th posthumous birthday.



The State’s Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Steve Ayorinde said the remodelling of the magnificent Gani Fawehinmi statue is part of government’s strategy to enhance the aesthetic beauty of open public spaces and parks as well as celebrate and immortalise worthy icons who contributed immensely to the development of Lagos State.



According to the Commissioner, this new statue is also informed by the desire of Lagos State government to protect and entrench the enduring legacy of the country’s foremost human rights lawyer, activist, philanthropist and one of the icons of the pro-democracy movement in Nigeria.

A Roman Catholic priest has been murdered in the west-central Mexican state of Jalisco making it the second priest killed within four days in the country.

According to a statement from the Mexican Bishops’ Conference, the Roman Catholic Priest was performing the sacrament of penance when he was attacked by armed assailants at a parish in Tlajomulco de Zuniga, on the outskirts of Guadalajara.

The attack which took place on Friday, the 20th of April, took place immediately after the celebration of Holy Mass.

It was the latest in a series of attacks against priests in Mexico. It was recalled that another Roman Catholic Priest, Father Ruben Alcantara Diaz was attacked on the 18th of April, right before an evening Mass at Our Lady of Carmen Parish in Cuautitlan Izcalli.

However, on Saturday, the bishops launched an urgent appeal for a culture of peace and reconciliation. According to the statement they released,

“These deplorable events call each of us to a deep and sincere conversion. We ask competent authorities to shed light on this dramatic event and to take action according to the laws of justice.”

The bishops also appealed to the killers to ‘not only to lay down their arms’ but also to reject ‘hatred, resentment, vengeance and all destructive sentiments’.

Just recently, murderous attacks on clergy have become common in Mexico, a country that reached a historically high level of homicides last year.


According to the Roman Catholic Multimedia Center, 22 priests have been killed in Mexico since 2012, when the six-year administration of President Enrique Pena Nieto began.

Though the show ends today, Fans are hoping that the duo continue what they have started as the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Recall that Cee-C and Tobi were a thing in the early weeks of the reality show before things went sour between them, well some fans are saying Alex probably had a thing for Tobi all a long. As such may have wished that things didn’t work out between Tobi and Cee-C.

Since leaving her former record company, Capital Hill Records, Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile, has been struggling to stay relevant in the music industry.

Chidinma’s present situation has made some music critics query why she left Capital Hill Records when she had no concrete backup plan.

In an encounter with Sunday Scoop, co-owner of Capital Hill Records, Ill Bliss, stated that it was the decision of the record company not to renew Chidinma’s contract when it expired. The rapper said, “Chidinma didn’t just wake up one morning and leave the record label. Didn’t you guys see that the relationship degenerated? Her contract expired with Capital Hill and we did not want to renew it. We are the record company; so, we decide what to do with an artiste we create.”


According to him, when they started Capital Hill Records, there was no plan to keep artistes for a long time. “From the start, Clarence Peters and I didn’t plan to keep artistes for too long. Phyno stayed for a year too. There is always a problem when you start to keep an artiste for too long because you want to recoup all the money you invested in him or her and make a huge profit too. We made some good money from these artistes; we made enough money to break even and cover all our expenses,” he said.



He added that when Chidinma’s contract expired after seven years with the company, they believed she needed to build her own team. “Chidnma knows where to find us and she knows we will always help her if she needs our help. We only have me and Mz Kiss on the label at the moment,” Ill Bliss added.

Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Cee-C became the new head of house after a small drama in the house yesterday.

Big Brother initially wanted the housemates to pick the final week’s head of house among themselves.

He, however told them that they should select between the housemate that had served as the head of house the least number of times and the housemate that had headed the house the most.

Tobi and Cee-c fell under these categories.

But housemate flouted the order and picked Nina instead as the Head of House.

Their decision did not, however, go well with Biggie who gave them 90 minutes to reverse the choice.

They were given the option to choose from either Cee-c or Tobi.

While Tobi has won the highest number of Head of House challenge, Cee-c had won none.

The housemates, therefore stripped Nina off the Head of House and gave it to Cee-c

Reveton pretends to be a warning from your country’s national police service, locks you out of your PC, and threatens criminal proceedings within 48 hours – usually for unspecified copyright offences.

Of course, you can bypass the prosecution if you pay a “fine” to the cybercriminals. The amount they extort is typically about $200.

The Microsoft engineer allegedly obtained prepaid debit cards and, using the online alias of Mike Roland, would use an unnamed messaging program to send K!NG the account numbers for the prepaid cards.

Prosecutors claim that K!NG would transfer the “victims’ ransomware payments from GreenDot MoneyPaks to the prepaid debit card account numbers provided by Uadiale.” Then K!NG “would message Uadiale the last four digits of the loaded prepaid debit cards and the amount loaded on each.”

Court documents claim “Uadiale would then withdraw the loaded ransomware payments from the prepaid debit cards as cash at automated-teller-machine or point-of-sale locations.”

He would later convert these funds into the Liberty Reserve digital currency and send the proceeds to his UK partner, keeping 30% of the funds, part of his cut.

If found guilty on all charges, he risks a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $500,000, and up to three years of supervised release. Uadiale has been set free on a $100,000 bond.

A Sharia court sitting at Magajin Gar, Kaduna state has ordered a man, Shuaibu Umar who called his sister in-law, Suwaiba Abdulkadir a prostitute to receive a judgement of 80 strokes of cane.

Suwaiba Abdulkadir filed a case against her brother-in-law, Shuaibu of defamation of character after they had a little misunderstanding.

“Shuaibu is my husband’s younger brother and we had a misunderstanding; we exchanged words and he called me a prostitute.

“I want this honorable court to grant me justice, as what my brother-in-law said about me has tarnished my image,’’ she said.

Shuaibu however agreed calling his sister in law a prostitute and admitted he did it under aggression and thus, have no regret whatsoever for calling her such.

“I was hurt when she called me a drug addict and a thief; that was why I called her a prostitute and I won’t go back on my words,’’ he said.

The judge, Mallam Dahiru Lawal, ruled that Umar be given 80 lashes of cane after giving him a chance to withdraw his statement, which he refused to do.

“The defendant confirmed calling his sister-in-law a prostitute and is not ready to withdraw the statement; therefore, I, Dahiru Lawal, rule that Shuaibu Umar be given 80 strokes of cane.

“This is in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad which state that one cannot accuse a person of adultery or fornication except he presents four witnesses who have seen the activity.

“He is to receive 80 strokes of cane in place of the person he accused, because he has defamed the person’s character,’’ the judge ruled.

A famous Instagram model has been rendered blind and will suffer eye problems for the rest of her life after having surgery to change her eye color.



Nadinne Bruna, 32, wanted light grey eyes instead of hazel, but ended up losing 80 per cent of her vision in her right eye and 50 per cent in her left eye.

She lives in Miami but flew to Colombia for the surgery as it is not approved in the US. It cost around $3,000 to have silicone implants inserted into her eyes, a discounted price offered on the condition that she posted about it on social media.



After the surgery, Argentinian model Nadinne immediately began experiencing serious problems.

She added: “My vision damage is permanent, and I still have to have a cornea transplant and I have cataracts too.”



Nadinne said the surgery affected her career as she was unable to participate in photo shoots for her Instagram page, because of the appearance of her eyes.



She said: “My sister became like my mom. She had to do everything for me.

“After this surgery I went into a deep depression. I’m a very strong person, usually very brave and very smart, but with this I was completely stupid. I trusted the wrong person. Now I have the vision of a 90-year-old lady right but I’m hoping I can just keep my glaucoma under control.”



She revealed that in spite of her eye problems, lots of people are still asking her where they can get the surgery done.

The model said: “It’s crazy, because even though I’ve been open about this surgery on Instagram, people are still are asking me where they can do it.



“But I don’t think surgeries are bad. I just didn’t know the risks and I made a mistake by not doing my research. Next month I’m going to have a surgery to reduce my boobs because I’ve lost a lot of weight this year and it’s something I have to do.”

A Facebook user Samaria Diala, took to the platform to expose a man who tried to scam her with stories of losing his wife in an accident and his fake 8-year-old daughter in Enugu.



According to her, the man identified as Kingsley Obinna on Facebook got busted after he tried to defraud her with an accident drama, after they agreed to meet on a date in Enugu.



Here’s what she wrote;

“Hi friends please be careful of this guy , stories behind his late wife and his 8-year old daughter seeking for love she left behind. He came chatting me up with stories of how he lost his wife in an accident when his daughter was 2years old .

He claimed he is being careful in terms of making choice of the next woman to call wife.

He got me into talking to the fake child of his , her words were so touching also that of the grandma .

He later claimed at some point to be in Nigeria ,that they would pay me a visit. On the agreed date of the visit from Enugu ,he claimed to have ran down a pregnant woman crossing the road on his way coming.

He rang me with siren blowing on the background and even claimed police got him arrested .

so he needed money to pay the doctor as deposit before he would be allowed to continue with his trip .

As the doctor assured him the victim will survive so far he deposits 75k . He later Called me with the request I make the transfer as he isn’t allowed to leave the station . Well I knew he was a scam from when he gave an old woman the phone to speak with me .
