A Twitter user has almost landed himself into trouble after calling the president on the Federal Republic of Nigeria, president Muhammadu Buhari a Yahooboy in a direct chat with EFCC. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) yesterday posted pictures of internet fraudster who were apprehended and just recently jailed in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. However, a young male Twitter user joking around told EFCC to follow him and that he has the name of a Yahooboy he wants to expose. When EFCC directly messaged him, he gave the name of the Yahooboy as President Muhammadu Buhari and alleged the president stole N77bn and that he lives in Aso Rock. EFCC however replied him telling him to be conscious of what he will joke with. Also, he was told to apologise and that they will be watching him closely. https://newsonthegotoday.com/n2xpft

For over three months now, the Federal Government had earlier declared the closure of schools seeing that Covid-19 was a threat to human life. As a result of that, external examinations (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) have been delayed. As students wait patiently for school resumption, all WAEC and NECO candidates should take note of this. https://newsonthegotoday.com/un45dk

In this article I'll be presenting to us the only man from the northern part of Nigeria that block Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Presidential Ambition. Please note that this is just an opinion. Progressively, we are moving to another political race year. The current administration has under three years to go and politicking has never halted for a second. For the time being, everybody is attempting to get the ticket to contest. From what I have watched up until now, I can dependably foresee that the race at the government level is between People's Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC). However, there have been speculations that The National Leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is going to contest for the 2023 presidential election but he is yet approve it publicly. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the national leader of the APC during the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari, and he also a lawmaker in the southwest geopolitical zone, whose ambitions is to become the next President from speculations. Despite the fact that Tinubu is known to put forth unusual attempts to continue his mission for the administration in 2023, APC experts in the north clearly show that he is probably going to confront intense restrictions from the individuals who see themselves as his political rivals. But despite his vast knowledge and experience about politics there are still some people who can Challenge him and make lose during any election. But the man I'll be focusing on is Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai. https://newsonthegotoday.com/b9kq1l

Joseph Ligon is presently 79 years old. He has remained the oldest serving juvenile lifer in the United States of America. Joseph was convicted in the year 1953, at the age of 16 years old. He was convicted after engaging in gang violence and robbery that led to the killing of two men. He has served 64 years in prison. His co-defendants, some of which have died and others received commutations. Joseph Ligon would like receive freedom as he claimed that he was not guilty of the offence he was being accused of. Although, he was recently offered 'parole' which means freedom in order to remain under the control of the Pennsylvania Department of Correction but he refused. Joseph Ligon is 79 years old and has been serving a prison sentence for 63 years. However, he still claims he is innocent and never committed the crime he was accused of. He has recently been offered parole but turned it down. He has family in New Jersey with whom he’d like to reunite, and, as he argues, he’s served long enough. According to the Supreme Court ruling in 2016, it's made know that mandatory life sentences for juveniles are unconstitutional therefore called for resentencing. As at when Joseph Ligon was convicted and sentenced, four other teens were sentenced at the same time. But Ligon maintained in his statement that he stabbed only one person who he claimed later survived. It seems he was not satisfied with the parole offer, he wanted a total freedom so that he can go and join his family. He remained firm in his words that he was guilty of the offence he was accused of. In March 2019, a Pennsylvania court rejected just this argument from Ligon: that the Pennsylvania law violates the Supreme Court's ban on mandatory life sentences for minors. https://newsonthegotoday.com/kgjy2n
