Good day everyone.
I got a Cruise Ship job as a Cadet( Trainee) and have been issued a letter of employment. Now, my worry is the unavailability of Continuous Discharge Certificate in Nigeria, as NIMASA currently only issues a temporary Discharge Certificate. Please, can I attend my visa C1/d interview with this temporary issue?? I have my other required documents.

If pending disbursement according to you will be cleared, it literally means disbursement has not stopped, if you've done your documentation before now. I was in Lagos last Friday and was told of being lucky because that day was the last for documentation.
I went to their headquarters in Lagos from Port Harcourt.

I heard that disbursement for NYIF loan has been suspended. Is that true? Who can help us verify.

Not disbursement per say; I was told during my documentation on 16 September that the deadline for Nyif documentation was that very day.
