We hold the key to our destinies.. and I don't mean just financial destiny because that is what the world is about right now.. in this contest I mean the extinction of our local dialect, this is our identifier without which we are completely lost. Truth be told by stats only 3 out of 10 educated usobo youths know how to speak and understand the language which is very poor in my own opinion.. unfortunately I am one of the 7 that do not know how to speak neither do I understand. How do we then educate our offspring's?? I am not even going to go into the issue of culture and values because that is dead already. Please this is very important let us find ways to address it.. I want to believe there are bright minds here that will come up with very good suggestions.

Am nt bias, am saying d truth, bayelsa allocation is more than those states that are owning workers and bayelsa have lesser population than those state. so no excuse for d failure to pay workers. if he has done something tangible in state, he wont depend on allocation to pay his workers.

out 25 local goverment in delta state 15 have mini stadium in their headquarters, 80% of sch renovated, some renovated and equiptment, nt owing workers salary with d excuse of bad goverment. d access to some bayelsans village is tru delta. Etc.

When the economy was good, The Government never denied staffs and lecturers their salaries, NDU never embarked on an indefinite strike, NDU is included in one of the fastest academic calendar in the Nigeria university, etc... I guess, na delta government good na.

u see ur lame excuse, when d economy is good, he pays his workers nw dat d economy is bad he wont pay his workers that means all state workers in nigeria shld be on strike cuz d economy is bad. rubbish state and goverment.

but yet delta indigenous study in a state u said "nothing good is in that state"... Girls will forever remain girls. Don't compare things that shouldn't be comparable, delta came into existence before bayelsa, though not an excuse for her lacking behind. Generally now, nothing is going well in this country, and that affect most states, bayelsa isn't excluded.

some deltans choice of studying in bayelsa does mean there something good in bayelsa.. is their choice, i will forever remain a girl cuz nt all boys are boys. so bad economy is one affecting d state. when d economy was good did bayelsa goverment did anything tangible in state? please stop giving stupid excuse for d bad goverment in bayelsa state.

Do u what to compare d numbers of Deltans studying in NDU with numbers of Bayelsans studying in DELSU, Oghara poly, Ozoro poly, Ogwashi-uku poly, Delta state college of health technology Ofuoma Ughelli.. Delta state college of marine technology bomadi, Delta state college of physical education mosogar etc Do u want to compare d number of students in one State higher instiution with d number of students in more than 5 state higher institution.?

Bayelsa is not a state if they cant pay NDU lecturers. NDU is d only higher institution owned by d Bayelsa state goverment in dat state, no polytechnic in state, if u go to delta state poly especially d one in Ozoro is over populated with bayelsa indigene.nothing good is in that state. they always seek refuge in other pple state..Thats how they were touring around delta state looking for a suitable stadium and town for their state owned female and male football team to used, i was like if Ibori didnt lay d foundation of each local goverment headquaters having a stadium would bayelsa united and bayelsa queen take Oghara has their adopted home for d past 5 years nw. that state is one of d richest state in nigeria bt d poorest in human capital development. Delta state is bad bt i see state wey Delta state better pass.
