Ihaveleftnaija: What you're asking for will never be allowed by a fraction of functioning African states. If you were Morrococan ,South African, Egyptian Or from Seychelles or Mauritius would you want open borders or one African passport when your own passport has more value ? . They will never agree ,so those are just slogans and daydreaming from your part . We don't care if they will not want, this is Africa we cannot be dictated to by a minority of countries on our own soil. If they don't want to be part if Africa let them leave the continent for us. Rubbish. |

MrUnitedstatesA: You have a Yoruba god in Aso rock, but Yoruba states are still filled with street beggars, hunger and people praying to japa. Congratulations ,you guys have won. Atleast the president is not Igbo Pandora will never rule Nigeria and that goes for every man from his ethnicity . His people will never stop seeing South West as their first japa option in Nigeria. South West is their London . You can wail if you want but that's just what it is |

Dalohad: The African Union should stop meeting and be disbanded.. None of their resolutions have been implemented in the last 5 years.
They are useless. Serious countries should pull out.. I agree with you. What happened to open boarders and people living anywhere they want in Africa soil? What happened to single currency and one passport ? These people are jokers. Nothing ever good comes from that union of greedy looters . |

MrUnitedstatesA: A tribalist like you is why Nigeria is where it is. Humiliated and disgraced by even small small countries like Namibia. We are now the ants of Africa because people like you are still thinking in primitive tribal ways instead of behaving like adults 🙄 No it's the drugs and cultism and fraud you people carry to their countries. Tribalism has nothing to do with why countries are rejecting the Nigerian passport at this rate . You people destroyed our image with all manner of crimes |

Politics › Re: The Most Taxed African Countries by Evilthoughts: 8:12am On Jan 28 |
Ihaveleftnaija: No one is defending xenophobia — it’s wrong anywhere it happens.
But that issue is separate from whether a country has functioning systems.
South Africa’s roads, hospitals, schools, grants and utilities exist because they are funded and structured — not because the society is morally perfect.
Development doesn’t mean utopia or kindness. It means capacity.
Nigeria doesn’t need to copy South Africa’s social problems — it needs to copy state capacity, then fix its own issues better.
Xenophobia is wrong.
But it’s driven by pressure on systems funded by taxpayers — systems many migrants refused to build back home.
That contradiction needs to be acknowledged If their “strong systems” collapse because of migrants, then maybe they’re not that strong. Xenophobia isn’t pressure. it’s scapegoating innocent hardworking migrants. Why are their leaders not building more hospitals and schools to Accomodate the people coming in if they are so good. See, the problem is their lazy leaders but they don't see it ,they only see immigrants because of hate and jealousy |
Politics › Re: The Most Taxed African Countries by Evilthoughts: 7:45am On Jan 28 |
Ihaveleftnaija: Yes, the rich pay indirect taxes — but that’s exactly the problem.
Indirect taxes (VAT, fuel, levies) take a much bigger share of a poor person’s income than a rich person’s.
That’s why functional countries rely more on progressive income and corporate taxes, not VAT, to fund development.
Nigeria does the opposite: weak direct taxes, heavy indirect taxes.
Result? The poor feel it more, and the rich still escape.
Look up my South Africa example. The poor pay vat and all but the middle class,Upper middle class and the rich pay a non negotiable income tax Your South African masters have all these great things yet still chase away fellow African immigrants not allowing them free health care and government schools. Nonsense development |

This type of thinking is why African women will never be safe, because even our brothers doubt our sisters. This is so sad. I'm sure the evil South African police and government knew about him but let him be because the victims are not South Africa |

I left the grid three years ago. I dey look the average Nigerian. They hate white people like they hate other blacks. Very wicked set. They protested to have the white man fired because they were saying he destroyed their eskom . Nonsense people. The man was only trying to help these lazy ones |

IronGalaxy: Ethiopia is one of the fastest growing economies in Africa, their economy is booming and the rapid development of their capital Addis Ababa is testament to that.. does Ethiopia have white people? What's stopping Nigeria from looking like this ? Lack of Whites? This excuses is tired and is a way to mask your failures.
How can you boast off having human resources then lament the lack of White people in the same sentence? You guys are so disappointing..
They will then accuse me of "insulting" but what type of thinking is this? You want Africans to appreciate black South African work when you are xenophobic to fellow Africans. Foolish. You're wicked to other blacks and you want them to be nice when you don't want them to get free healthcare in your country. Nonsense. |

Ishowspeed is a content creator. He sure enjoyed the paparazzi

franchasofficia: You made zero sense in your post.
The reasons foreigners and tourists don't like visiting Nigeria are:
1.) Corruption due to decades of successive corrupt, failed Presidents like Tinubu that plundered the collective resources of Nigeria and rendered ordinary Nigerians hopeless and rejected
2.) High level of insecurity caused by federal government of Nigeria using insecurity to play politics
3.) Corruption among ordinary Nigerians which they learnt from political leaders and also because nobody holds corrupt Nigerians accountable by making sure every corrupt Nigerian pay the full price irrespective of his or her tribe, religion or political affiliation.
These are the primary reasons Nigeria don't attract foreigners and tourists.
Every other reason is secondary. So South Africa doesn't have Corruption Crime |

Ihaveleftnaija: My friend ,Naija is very depressing and frustrating at the moment and there are no benefits for citizens. So you cannot really have pride when you are suffering. Your comparison to South Africa is silly at best. Firstly South Africans don't hold foreigners in high regard like we do. They don't go all out for strangers unless you ask politely. They also see begging foreigners for help ,not as a lifeline if you're poor but as an insult to their state who gives everyone free money monthly ,so why.beg?. Does Nigerian government offer the same benefits to the poor as South Africa?
As for Kenya, things are as bad as Nigeria over there too in many communities but they are used to foreigners because of their tourism ,so they don't see every foreigner as an ATM because they know others are broke but just saved enough to go there. And Kenya government also has some benefits for the citizens. What do we get in Nigeria to cushion the hardship ? So you expect handouts like lazy citizens of those countries. Nigerians are hardworkers not looking for government to feed them,we can hustle for ourselves. But the useless people on.those streets need to be punish for giving Nigeria a bad name on a global stage making even lazy people to mock us ,even though everyone knows we are the most dominant and smartest Africans. |
