I've been trying to learn joomla on my own for a while now but i'm not taking it seriously simply because I have not found the urgent need. However, I don't want to learn it in a rush when I have the need for it, so I'm looking for someone who could take some time to put me through online via yahoo messenger. I don't mind paying a small fee, just to arouse my serious urgent interest.

Showvic, there's so much goin on with cheap 9ja hosting firms (smartwebng.com, for example), so u can't blame people for bein aggressive over your post, especially as there's little or no standard info to support it. However, ur ideas r nt bad. Jst try nd b more straight forward as previously advised. Good luck in ur endeavours and b careful so u don't land in d wrnd hands and hv people on ur neck.

Please is there any other way I can retrieve d transfer code for my domain name with them? Since they r not available to ask. I spoke with a he-goat yesterday and told him I wanted to transfer, he pleaded and assured me that it will b up in 30mins and till now, nothing. I'm talking about a bulk sms portal so this is really killing biz 4 my client, dunno how I'l explain this. I knw I can't access my files now but I have them backed up on my system. All I need from d morons is my domain name transfer code ASAP.

Ok, problem is the domain name is expired.

But the issue is that they scrapped the plan I subscribed to and introduced another plan that's about times five the amount of the original plan. I can understand that they may want to charge me for late renewal and all but I'm being asked to pay 18,900 as opposed to the regular 4,725 I used to pay for the previous package. Please is there no other way to work around this?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there was a way to transfer a domain name without actually renewing the hosting account associated with it? I'm aware that some registrars do charge a release fee but I'm having an issue with nairadomains. They are insisting that I MUST renew the hosting account.

They recently had an increase of about 200% and I find that ridiculous. Please I need help on how to go about this as I am not willing to continue my hosting relationship with them.

Please I have a problem with my two (2) JS scripts on a website I'm developing. I have a js dropdown menu as well as a js image fader. Both work fine, except that the images div where the image fader feature is residing is blocking my dropdown menu.

Please view the site (homegrownclothingcompany . com). When you place your mouse over the 'MEN' link, there is a dropdown list which goes behind the image fader div.

All ideas on how to tackle this problem are welcomed and will be highly appreciated.

Please I have an issue with a particular font.

I'm using a font that is available locally but it's not a common font therefore, most viewers wont be able to see the site the way i want it's supposed to be (site: http://www.diseyetantua.com). The font that's supposed to be in the content section (fonts in white) is tallpaul.ttf, but as it's not a common font, it can't be viewed elsewhere but my system (you'll probably see Times New Roman).

Now the issue is this. I know that fonts can be made available from webservers, but i don't know how to implement that. Please I need urgent help.
