Smartweb is unbelievably reliable. And the funny this is that they don't realize it; either that or they are in denial. I had a terrible experience with them sometime in 2010 and left... fast forward to 2017, it's like it's even worse. Two terrible experiences can't be wrong.

I'm going to consider Syskay or Qservers.

Whatever you do, I'll advise you stay away from Smartweb. They have the most unreliable servers and incompetent staff. They are very responsive when you open tickets but what's the point of being responsive if they will provide robotic and ignorant responses.

Then one of the sites that I've been working on recently in a sub folder was nowhere to be found after the restoration and they simply said, I quote:

As updated in the previous follow up, I cannot find any folder "folder_name" under your domain "domain_name"

Just like that.

web4africa has been having frequent downtime issues and the annoying part is that their responses when contacted are so automated! This is a typical Nigerian situation where service is crappy and customer service is almost non-existent. It's just unfortunate that when you decide to patronize local content, they always give you a fresh reason to go foreign. Later they will say Nigerians like foreign stuff too much. Why not please
