Before I go into that, let me say this. There are many out there with the right certificates which qualifies them for lots of jobs but they never really get these jobs when they apply?
Why?

The truth is many companies are tired of employing people whose main qualification is just the course they studied in school; aside that nothing. The next thing is having no prior work experience.
The fact is many employers are really looking for individuals with the relevant working skills to help bring in the revenue for the business. Among such skills is your ability to use Microsoft Excel.
Just take 5 minutes of your time to study the various job vacancies you see around and in 2 out of 5 vacancies, you will see the requirement about being “Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel”

It’s no brainer that this skill is a necessary requirement for employment these days. Excel is widely used in almost every business establishment in the world because it is powerful software which serves different job industries all over the world. Banks, hospitals, pharmacies, schools, grocery shopping malls, restaurants, churches and the likes of such, employ the use of Excel in their operations. You can ask around.

Some jobs involve sorting through pre-existing data and determining what to keep on your current spreadsheet and which data is no longer relevant. Once sorted and filtered, Excel can organize this data in a logical and meaningful sequence. Knowing how to utilize these features I Excel can make long spreadsheets easier to understand and analyze.
