Nifemi28:Good day please under the livelihood part of the entry form, what did you fill? Full scholarship Partial scholarship Or other means I filled scholarship as was directed but i just got a response to change it to other means |
Can you please help with such links, I couldn’t find something definitive. Also if you don’t mind sharing, what corrections were made? And how long did it take for them to reach out to you regarding such corrections? Lastly, do you have an idea how long our wait time will be till our appointment date? Nifemi28: |
Nifemi28:Same here. After you submitted did you see any option to download the application form, declaration and GDPR? Because i didn’t and it’s on the checklist of documents to come along with for the interview. Also is your preliminary review done? Anyone with knowledge on this should please contribute. |
Excluding your birth certificate? Or did you mean including? Because saying “excluding” means you didn’t laminate birth certificates and if you indeed meant that you laminated it, you’re saying you didn’t have any issues? Rfactor: |
Good day everyone. Can anyone who has recently gone via the CAT A/special qualifications criteria, or know anyone who has done so, please help me with the wait time/timeline from submitting your visa application to getting an interview date and eventually your visa? Also my old NPC birth certificate is laminated. Does this pose as an issue for me or do i have something to be worried about? If yes what should be done about it? Thanks. |
Good day everyone. I’m preparing for a German student visa application from Nigeria, and I’ve run into multiple name/document issues, so I’m looking for guidance from anyone who has handled something similar. I’m above 18, and my NPC (National Population Commission) birth document has name discrepancies: • My name arrangement on it is Surname – Middle Name – First Name, instead of the correct arrangement used on most of my other documents. • Also, my father’s first name on the birth document appears to be incorrectly spelled. In addition, I discovered inconsistencies across my school documents: • First School Leaving Certificate: only Surname + First Name appears (my middle name is missing). • BECE / Junior WAEC: Surname + Middle Name + First Name. • NECO: also Surname + Middle Name + First Name. • WAEC, B.Sc and Passport all check out as Surname + First Name + Middle Name. I have been made to understand that some of the school certificates’ (BECE AND First School leaving certificate) issues CAN possibly be resolved with an affidavit such as One and the Same Person or a name confirmation affidavit, so I’m mentioning that for context. I’m trying to know the safest order to regularize/reconcile everything especially the NPC birth certificate before my student visa application. I’ve been told different things, including: 1. Doing an affidavit for name correction / one-and-the-same person 2. Doing a parent’s High Court Declaration / Age Declaration 3. Applying for a fresh NPC birth attestation or correction. Has anyone in Nigeria successfully handled something like this for embassy, school admission, or visa purposes? Which process worked for you, and in what order did you do it? I’d really appreciate guidance from anyone with firsthand experience. |
I just sent you an email, kindly check for it. Thank you. Deebeloved: |
Thank you for your prompt response. This means i have to be there in person as opposed to someone doing it for me? Also do you have an idea on what the waiting period for the appointment for certification is so i can create a timeline for myself? i can’t seem to find information about it anywhere. Also if you do not mind i would like to connect with you privately as we are applying to the same school and you appear to have gone way ahead of me please. Thank you so much once again. hello, I am currently trying to apply to FAU, please how do I go about certifying at the embassy? did you book an appointment? if yes, how did you go about doing it? also was your application for admission done via uni assist? Deebeloved: |
Still waiting for a reply on this guys, thanks. Excellent111: |
Good day everyone. Please i was wondering if will i be able to go through the admission/visa process successfully with only transcripts and statement of result, while not having my certificate? as i recently completed my studies and it isn’t ready yet. I heard it’s possible but i wanted to confirm from people with experience before starting the application processes. Also are unofficial transcripts accepted for visa applications/interview? How did you guys also go about this. Thank you. |
Thanks for your response, I appreciate it. Also I asked this here before but the responses weren't really clear/convincing. Is the fast track for First class honours holders still available? Also anyone with first hand experience recently, I'd really appreciate your response to this. Thanks OluwaTofunmiiii: |
Good day. I just finished my BSc and i'm trying to apply for a masters in Germany. It turns out that they now require, at the embassy during visa application, your first school leaving Certificate and BECE (junior waec) and I'm having name discrepancies in the order of arrangement on these documents with my FSLC carrying my surname and first name, BECE carrying my surname, middle name and first name while my Waec, NIN, degree and co carries my surname, First name and Middle all in the respective orders stated. This is even more frustrating as the mistakes were made by my school as we were too young to know about this whole name thing in primary and junior secondary school, every other thing I filled myself have the right order. My question is how do I go about rectifying this? Does the affidavit and newspaper publication objectively rectify this? Does it affect chances of a successful application/decision?. Please be kind enough to respond when you see this, I'll be anticipating your responses, I need as much input as I can get on this. Thank you all in advance. |
Thanks for your response, please is there a format for this email? Also as a sidenote, does anyone one have firsthand experience with this here or directly knows someone with one that can share please? Thanks Dotmanmighty: |
