GOBIR CONDEMNS ATTACK ON KWARA APC CHAIRMAN.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Waziri Yakubu Gobir has condemned the attack on the Kwara State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress - Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa and his team, at the party meeting in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Speaking to journalists in Ilorin yesterday after visiting the APC State Chairman, Waziri Gobir expressed concern over the development which he described as "abnormal". He admonished youth in Kwara State not to allow themselves to be used as agents of destruction.

He urged every member of the All Progressives Congress in the State to work hard for the advancement of the party, and to focus on achieving victory for APC in the bye elections coming up in Patigi LGA next month.
He commended the Kwara State APC Chairman and his executives for their hardwork in criss crossing Kwara State to sensitise and rally party faithfuls ahead of the upcoming bye elections. Whilst praying that Almighty Allah should protect all party members, he implored the State's security agencies to please investigate this incident and prevent any future occurrence.

Gobir Organization Commits 250 Million Naira to Kwara Traders, builds on Federal Government “Trader Moni” model.

The Gobir Organization Foundation has set aside the sum of 250 million naira for disbursement to traders in Kwara State. According to reports gathered, the ongoing disbursement of zero- collateral and interest-free loans to scores of traders in Kwara, is projected to span throughout the 16 Local government areas of the State within an initial period of four years.

Speaking in Ilorin on Monday, the Organization’s Director of Strategy and Communications Mr. Charles Olufemi Folayan reiterated the commitment of the organization to taking a lead in championing renewed social rejuvenation and their dedication to investing in the economic output capacity of the State through targeted interventions in business development and other support programs for youth and women.

He remarked that the loan disbursement programme named “Gobir Funds” commenced in November 2019, is an improvement on the model of the Federal Government Social Investment Scheme popularly known as “Trader Moni”. The organization considers this as a critical means of empowering petty traders and helping to build the capacities of small scale business owners, especially those at the grassroot level.

He also revealed that apart from the loan, the organization has also taken the initiative to equip and train small scale business owners on the rudiments of business development. Beneficiaries of the project have been provided with the opportunity to recieve critical tranings in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, cooperative and Banking practices amongst other crucial trainings which are critical to business scale-up”

He asserted that the whole idea and strategic thrust of the initiative was predicated on the commitment and devotion of the founder of the organization Waziri Yakubu Gobir and his resolve to remain a key player in the drive to reduce the high level of poverty in the State.

He expressed satisfaction on the direct impact the program is making in the business of beneficiaries and the level of response and cooperation of the beneficiaries, especially with regards to their compliance with the repayment plan. For us, the beneficiaries responses further lends credence to our determination to roll out more initiatives which are focused on bringing succour to the people of Kwara.

SEN. ASHIRU TO ASSIST KWARA SOUTH YOUTH WITH STARTUP CAPITAL/EQUIPMENTS

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District Senator Arch. Lola Ashiru has declared his readiness to support a number of successful Trainees of the Asoju Odo Youth Development Center Ekan, the Senator made this known during a visit to his office by the Executive Director of the Re-Orientation Advocacy Foundation of Nigeria (RAN) and Founder of the Center Mr Charles Olufemi Folayan at the National Assembly Abuja.

The Senator was impressed on how far the Center has gone and declared his readiness to support successful trainees from his Senatorial District with startup capital and necessary equipments after training.

He declared his commitment to help build the youth for the future, he therefore encourage RAN team to keep up the good work and also expressed confidence in the brighter future with laudable initiatives of this nature.

The youths of today now loan the streets helpless and hopeless.

The youths now engage in crimes like stealing, murder and armed robbery Just to please themselves.If the youth who are academically at risk are encoded in vocational training, then the youth of today, will have what is popularly known as “HAND WORK” when individuals engage themselves in various hand work, we will have less unemployed youths.

ASOJU ODO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER LAUNCHES A FREE VOCATIONAL CENTER FOR, LESS PRIVILEGED IN KWARA SOUTH, EKAN.

We do not know that if there is no cobbler, there will be nobody to mend our shoes. if there is no tailor, who will sew our clothes?? If there is no hair dresser, who will make our ladies hair and even cute the men’s hair

Not everybody can afford a university degree, and not everyone is academically inclined.  We have had a lot of successful entrepreneurs who are changing and shaping the business world, for example Bill Gates, Steve Jobs etc.

These people learnt technical and vocational skills which impacted and led them into designing technologies that provide solution to the world

The Federal Government and state government should encourage and support vocational training and skills acquisition among the learning population of all Nigeria State youths, in order to curb unemployment and it’s consequences.

A woman said to me, 'It took me years to know that men cry too. I took my husband for a superhuman. I see him leave the house every day and come back, providing for us. As I got home, I tried going through the back door, which was closer to the window of our room. A young married lady went to her mother and complained that her husband has not always bought things she wanted from him. The mother asked her, 'How many of those things have you bought for yourself?". She stayed quiet and said, 'But he is my husband?". The mother replied to her, 'Have you ever found out the things your husband wants you to buy for him?".
Men always try to hide their pains.
A woman was invited to preach at a women conference, and as she was teaching, she asked all the working-class women to stand out. They humbly did. And she asked them, 'When you get your salary, how much do you give to your husband as a seed?". Before your money gets to anywhere else, the priest in your life, which is your husband, should get something from you. Even if he is a rich man, sow seed in his life. Sometimes, we women don't know that our husbands need something from us".
Men can be financially broke and pretend to have everything.
Most men are married, but they have a lonely life. Sometimes, ask your husband out. Men are not always as busy as women think.
You have to understand that your husband has pains and needs too. Don't judge him by things you want from him. Sometimes, your husband doesn't have the items you want.

THROWBACK: OCTOBER 7TH, 1988, ENGAGEMENT DAY.

Very Innocent and humble girl.
Age: 24 Years Old.
The man she said she would marry had no tangible job but acting of drama up and down.
The families were so skeptical and would have rejected this plan, but these young boy and girl said hey wanted to marry.
This girl was entering into a future which only God knew.

Me: 28 Years Old.
Full time drama minister and no other job.
It was Families who rose up to support this wedding o.
Because, me, I had nothing. No money, no nothing.
It was my Big Sister who rented our first house for us, so that we would not come and be living in her house.
And it was my wife's Uncle who gave a little money to do some little things.
It was my Best Man who bought my Suit, Shirt and tie.
It was my Wife's Aunty who sent us the Shoes I wore from America.
It was one of our ministry members who gave us the money we deposited for the Wedding gown, because we had gone to three places where we wanted to rent a Wedding Gown for N500.
It was the money we saved we used to deposit for our furniture for the living room.
Forget about bed.
A mattress was good for us for the first five or six months.
It was all the money gift we were dashed on Wedding Day we used to balance some debts and outstanding of the WEdding.
So, the following Week on Saturday, when we were going to meet the rest Mount Zion brethren in Ilesa for drama ministration, GLORIA and I stood beside the road waiting for miracle of a car lift to Ilesa, because there was no money on us again: A WEEK AFTER WEDDING!

If you see what this Innocent Girl has passed through in the hand of a man who had no tangible job in hand, but to be acting drama up and down...
Well...
Fast forward to many years later.
31 years later...
This Girl has still remained faithful and still following the Young Man Up and Down.
Still remains Submissive and Understanding.
And Now, today, this Young Innocent Girl is still following the Young Man Up and Down around the World.
And even till yesterday...still following him UpanDan somewhere around the world, ahead of today's National Transformational Ministers Revival Meeting this Evening.

What Moving N-Power To New Ministry Means -

Earlier today President Muhammadu Buhari in his Independence day Speech stated
that N-Power Programme has been moved to the new Ministry of humanitarian
affairs, disaster management and Social development. However what some people
don't know is that moving N-Power Programme to the ministry of humanitarian
affairs does not mean that all N-Power volunteers will be absorb into the ministry
as permanent staff. What it means is that henceforth,N-Power Programme will be
manage by the new Ministry.
In a real sense, when a new ministry is created, government will rather move staff
from other ministry to the new ministry and hire few hands if need arise.
Nevertheless, it will be a thing of joy to N-Power volunteers if this transition
could result into something permanently. Since that is what the have been praying
for.
In a situation of this nature, it is certain that when movement of programmes to
a new Ministry is involved, then there must be enhancement/improvement for
better performance. This means that the programme will be expanded and more
people will benefit from the programme just like Mr President stated in his speech
today that their commitment to Social Inclusion will only increase. We can see
that from the non graduate N-power Programme where beneficiaries are been
trained on different skills.
The important thing about this movement is that the N-Power Programme and
other NSIP Programme will be sustained even after this administration is out of

One thing we don't know is, will the beneficiaries of N-Power programme

#MAKING_MARRIAGE_WORK_AND_SWEET

(A MUST READ)
It takes more than beauty and handsomeness to make marriage work and sweet.
In fact let me be sincere with you, marriage is hard work, if you are not ready to work it out or make it work it might be very difficult for it to be sweet and blissful.

Yesterday i mentioned 5 of the things do to in making your marriage to work and sweet, so here are another 5 key points to add to the previous ones i gave yesterday.
Alright here we go......

1. HUMILITY: It is an essential character to build a successful marriage. Relate and speak with all humility. Humility will get you attached to your spouse while pride will make you repulsive to him/her. Come down, bow down to your spouse level if you want them to stick to you forever. Humility and submissive wives don’t get beaten by their husbands. Be humble as a man enough to take to correction too. Be humble enough to allow our wife to speak while you listen to him. It takes a humble woman to win the heart of her husband.

2. POSITIVE THINKING: Positive thinkers don’t get negative results. Think positively about your marriage, it will not break; strange women will not push you out. Your marriage will last. Think positively about your wife or husband they will stick to you; stop thinking about malice, retaliation or vengeance. Think well of him and he will treat you well.

3. BOLDNESS: It takes boldness to take bold steps and it takes steps to get greater results. You need boldness to become a successful merchant/career woman in order to supplement the family finance. You need boldness to stand and fight for your marriage when the strange women were troubling you. It takes boldness to remain in your marriage no matter how long you have trusted the Lord for the fruit of the womb because God will soon answer you.

4. FORGIVENESS: Offending and forgiving are two courses you must offer if your marriage must succeed. And you must not fail in these two courses. If you fail, your marriage cannot but be rocky or end in divorce. Create a part in your heart to accommodate because your spouse will definitely offend you and you must continue to forgive him/her. Love cannot flow in the heart that keeps malice. Forgive your husband/wife no matter the offence. Forgiveness attitude will help you understand each other better and your marriage rock solid. Forgive, stop keeping malice. Virtuous women and valiant men forgive each other.

5. DILIGENCE: Many people have loosed their marriage because of laziness. Most men today are not looking for full-time housewives like before , they want hardworking wives who can contribute to the family income. Women, quit the lazy business. Get yourself engage in doing something worthwhile. Men who are lazy can't keep a home working, i know men in part of my country Nigeria that don't work only their women labour to sustain the family, honestly this is 21st century it's gradually fading away because nothing works until you work.

EACH TIME I REMEMBER THIS STORY, I WEEP.

George stinney Jr of African descent, was the youngest person to be sentenced to death in the United States

He was only 14 years old when he was executed in an electric chair.

During his trial he always carried a Bible in his hands claiming his innocence.

He was accused of killing two white girls, 11 year old Betty and Mary of 7,

The bodies were found near the house of the boy in which he lived with his parents.

At that time, all members of the jury were whites.

The trial lasted for 2 hours only and the sentence was dictated 10 minutes later.

The boy's parents were threatened and prevented from being present in the court room, and subsequently expelled from that city.

Before the execution George spent 81 days in prison without being able to see his parents, he was held in solitary 80 miles from his city, he was held alone without anybody to talk to.

He was electrocuted with 5380 VOLTS IN HIS HEAD, imagine all that amount of voltage in a teenager's head.

70 years later, in 2014, his innocence was finally proven by a judge in South Carolina. The boy was innocent, someone set it up to blame him

Until his sudden departure to glory on Sunday, 26th July, 1959, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola showed no sign of illness. On Friday 24th July, he returned to Ibadan to attend the general council’s meeting slated for that day. On Saturday morning, 25th July, Apostle Babalola conducted the morning prayer for ministers and members living in the vicarage of C.A.C. Olugbode, Ibadan and prayed for everybody. The same day, he sent two of his followers, Michael and another fellow to me at Ede that I should prepare a place for him to sleep. I never knew he was talking of his final sleep. Apostle Ayo Babalola arrived Ede around 6:30 in the evening that Saturday and he was gladly received. Before his arrival, I had prepared my bedroom ready for him.
We ensured that nobody was allowed to rush into the bedroom with him; for it was Apostle Babalola’s habit that he never turned away anybody who came to him for prayer and counselling, no matter how weary he might be. After prayer, I informed him that his meal was ready. He declined to take any meal but requested to be allowed to have some sleep, because he had been holding series of meetings since the past nine days with little or no rest. He woke up three hours later and took some tea and slept off again. At 4a.m. on Sunday 26th, he woke up, took his bath, took some tea and had his morning meditation without any disturbance.
At 6 o’clock, I went to him in the bedroom and he began to talk about a great convention which will soon be held at his hometown, Odo-Owa. He was speaking in parables, so I did not suspect that he was talking about his approaching death. He directed me to call in Prophet Babajide who was in the adjacent room. Both of us knelt down beside his bed and he began to narrate to us how he began his ministry. It was such a sublime experience. Both of us just listened; we did not utter a single word during the course of his narration.
After this, we knelt down for prayer. The three of us prayed. I took the lead. Prophet Babajide followed. When it was Apostle Babalola’s turn to pray, he prayed for a very long time, praying for the church, the leaders and for us too. After the special service, people came to Apostle Babalola in my bedroom and bid him farewell before leaving for their various destinations with joy and humour. He bid everyone farewell and prayed for them. Nobody suspected through his speech or action that death was lurking in the corners. We left him alone to attend to those who were waiting to see him.
Meanwhile, Michael Osabi and Samuel Oluwatusin, the two young men who used to wait on him, remained with him as he took a nap. When he woke up, he called me and returned my covering-cloth to me. His action surprised me and I asked, “Baba, why are you doing this?” He replied, “A man should sleep with his own clothes.” It did not occur to me that he was speaking of his imminent death. He advised me to go and have some sleep myself. By then, everybody else had gone to church for the evening service. Around 5p.m. as he lay on the bed, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola breathed heavily three times, saying after, “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” His breathing was like the rumbling of a rain-storm and there was a great vibration in the bedroom. As this was happening, his personal attendants (Michael and Samuel) ran to call me to his bedside before he gave up the ghost. We began to pray and quickly sent for the church leaders who had gone to church for the evening service.
We all prayed for his restoration. But while this prayer was on, the Lord opened my spiritual eyes to see what was happening in the heavenlies. The heavenly hosts had come to meet this great prophet and joyfully admitted him into the glory above. He had laid down his sword at Jesus’ feet. So he could not return to earth again.
The church leaders and the elders who were present arranged for Apostle Babalola’s corpse to be taken to EFON ALAAYE that same night.
