Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie (born 27 May 1990), better known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Ijegun-Egba, Patoranking started his musical career doing underground collaborations with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone.


He signed a record deal with K-Solo's Igberaga Records in 2010, releasing "Up in D Club" under the outfit. Patoranking became a protégé of Dem Mama Records after collaborating with Timaya on his song "Alubarika".


In February 2014, he signed a record deal with Foston Musik and released "Girlie O", a single that put him in the limelight. On 9 February 2015, Patoranking announced via Instagram that he signed a distribution deal with VP Records.

The Acting President Yemi Osinbajo left Nigeria for Italy on Saturday, May 27.
It was gathered that Osinbajo attended the G7 Summit which held in Sicily, Italy.

The acting president also met with leaders leaders other countries including Donald Trump of the United States of America, Angela Merkel of Germany among many other leaders.
The special assistant to the acting president on media Laolu Akande had earlier told journalists that Osinbajo will leave Nigeria on the morning of Saturday, May 27, and return later in the evening.

Akande said his principal was invited to represent Nigeria at the meeting where these leaders will discuss various global issues.

Asked why she has refused to visit her state like other housemates, she said, “They have reached out to me several times but my schedule is actually very tight. Sometimes, when they are ready, I am not – and when I’m ready, they are not. But I will surely visit to my state soon.”

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has listed his arch-rival, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, among several persons to be honoured by the state.
The Minister for transportation Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, is among the top people to be honoured by the governor of Rivers state Nyesom Wike, the Award is for their individual contribution for the growth of the state.
A list of honourees prepared by the Jubilee Anniversary Committee set up by Gov. Wike, had Amaechi’s name at number 18 amongst 29 people to be awarded Grand Service Star of Rivers State.
Also former Nigerian leaders, Goodluck Jonathan and Yakubu Gowon are also on the list, alongside late activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa, who would be honoured posthumously.
The awards ceremony is slated to hold on May 27 in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, according to the program pamphlet.

Christopher Nwajei, who allegedly beheaded his mum, has been arrested by officers of the Abia State Police Command. It was gathered that he committed the said crime, on March 29th at Umuchagu Osokwa, Osisisoma Ngwa Local Government Area of the state. According to eyewitnesses, he took some blood from her, before beheading her and subsequently fleeing.

He was then apprehended by villagers in the bush . Upon interrogation before he was handed over to the Police, Nwajei disclosed that he killed his mother because, he was annoyed with her because she told him that he is not a native of the Umuchagu Osokwa village. He denied collecting her blood for rituals.


Speaking to newsmen, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Geoffrey Ogbonna, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that the suspect would soon be charged to court.
