Said he would have less money to play around and concentrate.

It's not the best. But as long as the person earning has a plan, doesn't rest on his oars, knows what they are doing and definitely isn't at their comfort zone then people have to start from somewhere.

Like the op has said he is just 24 years old. And even though I understand society of today puts more pressure on individuals at his age he really might not have much responsibilities aside feeding. And even if the salary covers only his feeding then it means it actually does something useful for him.

I am not justifying the pay but it's better than nothing. And it's a starting point.


I commented on your initial post because you made it sound like everyone has it that good.

I know someone that started on a salary of 7k when minimum wage was 30k. It sounded ludicrous even at the time. (It's probably like earning 15k now) at a point I asked her if she actually knew what she was doing.

Today I she has one of the biggest business in Abuja and even I have to book appointments to see her.

As long as a man knows the destination he is headed allow he take steps to getting there... No matter how little the steps.

His first problem is is environment, his second problem is his circle of friends.
Age has got nothing to do with it. I was in 200L at age 20, I got into school late, that was the year I counted my first 8 million naira. I was doing business, I invested my school fees and I never called home for money again, I kept building from there. I had the circle that if care is not taken will kick you out if you refuse to grow. My circle, we help each other push each other. There is absolutely no excuse for poverty. Your children will not care.
At this age a 24years old man isn't a kid, so leave his age out of it, @24 I already had a set of twins from my baby mama, my hustle doubled. I opened investment accounts for them at their first birthday so that they won't use their school fees to start business like I did.
I was doing business making good money but they were days I would go without food. I had a financial structure, I wasn't allowed to spend more than 2k a day. I made the rule and I kept the rule, it's called discipline.
If I spend 2k before eating, it means I won't eat for the rest of the day.
I was building me a future and I stayed with it.
Today my last born is 6 years old and he already works, each he sweets his room he gets paid, each of my son's work. My twins wash my car.
My eldest sons said they wanted PS5 last year, first question I asked was how much have you raised. I simply balanced it up and they bought it....
