The only solution to this is to completely make our election fully electronic or at least make the collation process electronic plus manual starting from the ward/polling units and do away with using only manual collation.



Another way to also reduce Presidential influence is to make it compulsory that before final election result is announced, manually collated result must be juxtaposed with the electronically collated results to ensure they tally.

So it's only in African democracy that this happens
