There are plenty causes of sleeplessness, there are many illness (mental or physical) that has sleeplessness as a symptom, and so there are many remedies. I think u should see an expert especially when it's up to 2 weeks - doctor, psychiatrists, psychologist, etc. If it's less than 2 weeks, there is really nothing to worry about. Clear out your mind and focus less on forcing yourself to sleep, it'll come. Take care.

From my little experience with psychology, I know maturbation is a type of addiction. And with every addiction, when there is a abrupt stop, or gradual reduction there tends to be withdrawal symptoms just like when a person stops drugs, overeating, etc. It's just how the brain works. These withdrawal symptoms sometimes manifests physically, just as u are experiencing.
