FYI, no other Man Utd player in their 100+ years history have won more club awards than De Gea. He’s won the award more than world class players like Ronaldo, Ruud, Rooney, Keane, etc .

Besides, the wall to wall reporting of football games these days, social media, etc also heighten the flaws of today’s players. Something that was barely existing in VDS days.

As a goalkeeper, I have never seen any United GK do what De Gea did against Arsenal at the Emirates in 17/18 or at Spurs in 18/19. It’s the best performance from a GK I have ever been privileged to see.

Exactly - De Gea has 45 caps for Spain at 29. Henderson is 24 years of age and has only 1 cap for Spain. There’s a reason for that.

The shelf life of a goalkeeper is different from outfield players. You are an expert - you should know this without having me to point it out to you.

Van Der Sar joined United when he was 35 years of age. De Gea is only 30 - he’s got about 5-8 years left in him as a professional footballer.

Like I have said - GKs get better and better with age. The older they are, the more experience and the better output. Stop comparing them with outfield players.

Degea is getting worst with age, what has DDG experience done to our defence?
-he can't coordinate his defence....
-he lacks confidence that do comes with age
-Henderson is even a better leader at the back.
-for the last time, don't mention DDG and VDS in the same sentence.

None of them won has the golden glove, De Gea has.

So you want the club to keep a 29 years old GK who is on 375K a week and makes silly errors? He can't even get into Spain team any longer.

You want the club to sign players like Man city but you don't want to the club to sell/release players (Aguero, Toure, Silva etc) like them.

FYI, our defence looks stronger and better with Henderson and Romero.
