ExxonMobil reposted some of the jobs again on their website due to a programming error for alot of the graduate roles. If you previously applied and got 'no longer under consideration' they'll email you and encourage you to apply for the position again because they made a mistake in the application questions/backend.

Guys is it that there was never interview for all positions or just only interviews for some positions were postponed?. Does that mean those of us that did Peteoleum Engineer skills test and havn't heard from Chevron can still be hopeful?

follow these steps.

1. log into your scholarship portal
2. Look at the number at the end of your profile in the url. it will be a 3 or 4 digit number in the form of https://scholarship[dot]ptdf[dot]gov[dot]ng/dashboard/scholar/[NUM]/

3. enter the url https://scholarship[dot]ptdf[dot]gov[dot]ng/application/applicant/[NUM] and you will see the page for you to start a new application.

Thank you Chief. From step 4 is not available for us that have once been awarded. It’s only available to those that have never been awarded.

It is not fraudulent. PTDF has been one of the most transparent scholarships in the country. There is just intense competition. If your NIN verification isn't working, make sure you have your PTDF account reading the same order of 'Forename Middlename Surname' as on your NIN. Otherwise the verification will fail if the ordering of the names are not the same. If you run into issues with paystack verification, just copy the relevant reference numbers and use the troubleshooting link provided.

Also people talking about quota don't realise PTDF list is universal with ALL states being represented. Stop being defeatist and try your luck

Sure, I know they don't recruit droves, but it is also not just 1 person. LOL it is not you that will tell me about the extremely high salaries of IOCs

Guy this isn't correct. Stick with what you know. It can take sometime before people are contacted

Most times successful applicants are contacted within two to three weeks after the Chevron Nigeria Limited skills test, Chevron Nigeria Limited hardly send regret mails so if you did not hear anything from them then it means you were not shortlisted for the Chevron Nigeria Limited interview.

That posting wasn't correct. it was generic something as defaulted by the Chevron workday website

Few is still okay. They need only 1 person for the Petroleum Engineer position that they advertised for last year. Just 1 person and it was clearly stated on the advert. "1 position to be filled"

I got informed from a friend that Total called SOME people that were interviewed last year January 2024 to resume early this year (January 2025). Also heard that SOME people that were interviewed last year November and did their Medical immediately after the final interview are now getting their offers. Congratulations to them.

Only thing wrong is the constant spamming. If you advertise once that is okay. Not spamming

If you need virtual you can ask for, they may or may not be able to grant the request but worth asking

Not all, they've not reached out to Petroleum & Attorney as far as I know and everyone in the October recruitment (those ones just started test)

What role? if you haven't heard back after interview for quite a while it is reasonable to move on. Most roles got their background check or progress emails a week after the interview. Thos who weren't progressed haven't heard back

anyone from well D&C received a skill test yet. there's no way to get any information about the aptitude test and the results. i got a second mail from dragnet informing me i dont have take a second test because i applied to both well d&c and petroleum engineering but other than that no other info and its been 2 months since i took the test.

Only drilling & wells I know have done their test so far. I believe in the coming weeks we'll have more roles being shortlisted for. The other roles that have been shortlisted for, what date was it?

yes but when they progress through the recruitment - they start splitting people into different roles. Maybe they didn't find good enough candidates for the wells discipline that they wanted the graduate engineers to go into

I think there is a confusion here. For Graduate Engineers, they did not interview for any particular role. I thought this guy said he applied for Graduate Engineer?
