Hedonisst:15 minutes of direct or close heavy fire, rpgs will even break the Beast. But you can't have that 15 minutes to attack these cars They're simply built to withstand the first and only attack, before the Secret service, Army, Seals, National Guards, Airforce, police, respond to the threat. These people will respond in minutes. |
The vehicle took six years and cost $300million to develop, can be submerged in water and has reinforced tyres.

The first time the limousine was seen was during Putin inauguration when it made a short journey from the Kremlin's Senate Building in Moscow to Andreevsky Hall.
|
President Vladimir Putin rolled into his Helsinki summit with President Trump with a new ride that can compare to the Secret Service-operated 'Beast.' The Russian strongman arrived in the back of his brand new Aurus Senat limousine in only the second time it has been used since his inauguration earlier this year. Little is known about the features of the Senat save that it can be fully submerged in water while keeping the occupants safe, and runs on tyres reinforced with steel to stop them going flat. Automobile expert Vyacheslav Subbotin disclosed that Putin's limo features 'an armoured capsule' which can withstand heavy gunshots and landmine blasts. On the communication system, he said: 'The system is internal, it is built entirely on our satellites and is completely in-built into the car which is incredibly important. The car will stay in touch under any circumstances. 'The defence system is also top level; should there be a chemical attack, the car can shut its windows and remain for long time underwater, just like a submarine. 'The limo has its unusual gear shift. It is automatic, and it's hybrid with a generator that can work both as an electric engine and as a generator.' The body is covered in 15 millimetres of armour plating with a reinforced chassis ensuring the body will not fall apart under stress. 'The body of the car is Russian invention as despite its size and heavy protection it turned out to be quite light. 'The construction deals really well with torsion and bending, there was a lot of strong boron-containing materials used. The car is almost seven metres long, it is a very serious work indeed.' The Senat is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter Porsche-developed V8 engine and will replace the adapted Mercedes-Benz Pullman limousine which Russian presidents have used since 1994. Inside, the limousine is decked out with white leather seats and wood detailing and features a large Russian coat of arms stitched into the door. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5958537/Putin-rolls-Helsinki-overseas-use-new-Kortezh-limousine.html

Two men stand among the corpses of about 300 crocodiles, which were slaughtered after a crocodile bit a local resident, killing him. 'The residents used knives to slaughter the crocodiles,' Olga said, adding, 'The crocodiles were caught and dragged outside and stabbed to death. It was so horrid to see.' ‘We couldn’t do anything. The situation was so tense,’ said Sorong police chief, Dewa Made Sutrahna, according to ABC News. It was unclear whether the crocodile that killed Sugito was among those slaughtered.

Angry villagers break into the crocodile farm and drag captive reptiles from enclosures.
|
Indonesianvillagers armed with knives, hammers and clubs have slaughtered nearly 300 crocodiles in revenge for the death of a man killed by a reptile at a breeding farm. Photographs showed bloodied carcasses of the crocodiles in a large pile in the Sorong district of the eastern Indonesian province of West Papua. Local resident Sugito, who worked at a tofu factory in Sorong, West Papua, was said to be looking for grass to feed his cattle on Saturday when he was bitten by a crocodile. His screams alerted a local resident who ‘heard him shouting for help but he was found dead,’ another local named Olga reported. After local villagers attended his funeral on Saturday, around 600 armed themselves with sharp implements and descended upon a crocodile farm, owned by Albert Siahaan, to avenge his death. The bloody attack resulted in 292 baby and larger crocodiles, up to two metres in length, hauled from their water-filled enclosures and hacked to death with hoes, picks and other sharp tools. Up to 40 police officers tried to stop the slaughter, but were outnumbered by the angry mob. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5957831/300-captive-crocodiles-slaughtered-angry-mob-Indonesia-one-ate-villager.html?mrn_rm=rta

Former Thai Navy Seal Kunan was honoured at a state funeral yesterday. Hundreds of mourners paid their respects to the 37-year-old at a special ceremony attended by high ranking military officials and a representative of theking at the Wat Ban Nong Khu temple in his home town of Chatuphak Piman yesterday. Kunan was awarded the Knight Grand Cross (First Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant medal and posthumously promoted to Lieutenant Commander. Family members hold pictures of Samarn Kunan, a former Thai navy diver who died working to rescue a young soccer team trapped for days in a flooded cave, during his funeral. Former Thai Navy SEAL Saman Kunan died after running out of oxygen in the cramped, waterlogged passageways of the Tham Luang caves in northern Thailand. Seal Saman Kunan was trying to reach a cavern set up as a command centre 1.2miles inside the caves and had been leaving oxygen tanks around the network as part of preparations for rescuing the 12 young footballers and their coach. But he ran out of air underwater and his diving partner was unable to revive him.
|
The youngsters bowed their heads in respect to the brave former navy diver and posed with a drawing of former Petty Officer Kunan at their hospital ward where they are being treated for malnutrition, pneumonia, ear infections and exhaustion. 'The boys all promised to be a good person and lead a good life to honour him.' He added: 'We told them about the death of Navy Seal Kunan as part of the process of preparing the boys to go back home and to lead normal lives.'

The Thai boys evacuated from the flooded cave have paid their respects to the former Navy Seal diver who died trying to save them. The 12 youngsters and their football coach were not told that Saman Kunan had drowned ahead of their dramatic rescue from the Tham Luang cavern just days ago. His dramatic death convinced the Thai authorities for the need to call back the British cave-diving experts to lead the 'mission impossible' to save the boys. But now doctors have decided the boys, aged between 11 and 16, are well enough to learned of the former Thai Navy Seal's personal sacrifice for them. 'All of the boys who were evacuated from the cave have been informed of the death of one of the rescuers,' Dr Jesada Chockbamrungsuk, who is in charge of their treatment announced.' All of the boys cried and were in tears when they found out.' One boy covers his face as he cries. Ekkapol Chantawong, the 25-year-old football coach who led the ill-fated outing into the cave, wipes away tears with a clenched fist. The survivors expressed their thanks to the Thai Navy Seal by bowing to his picture. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5955435/Thai-cave-rescue-Boys-pay-tearful-respects-ex-Navy-Seal-diver-died.html

An alabaster head was also found near the sarcophagus and is believed to be a depiction of the owner of the tomb.

It has not been opened in 2,000 years and nobody knows what’s inside. The tomb was found 16 feet below the ground in Sidi Gaber, Alexandria when an excavation team was inspecting the land for new building plans

A sealed massive sarcophagus made of black granite has been discovered in Egypt. Referred to around the world as the ‘cradle of civilization’, Egypt has been a literal crypt of historical secrets. The newest discovery from beneath the cradle came in the form of a massive sarcophagus, constructed from black granite. Local authorities, in the Sidi Gaber district of Alexandria, came across the tomb during a routine archeological dig for a new building construction site. Measured at 72.8 inches by 104.3 inches by 65 inches, the coffin is the largest one ever to be unearthed in the city. https://www.boredpanda.com/sealed-black-sarcophagus-discovered-egypt/
