3. Magnetic Floating Bed - $1.6 million This magnetic bed floats a few feet above the ground, and it can support up to 2,000 pounds.

2. Manhattan Parking Spot - $1 million. This parking spot in downtown Manhattan was sold for six times the average cost of an American home.

1. Feather of a Huia bird - $10,000 This is the most valuable feather in the world, since it once belonged to a Huia bird, which is now extinct. The bird's plumage was traditionally used to adorn Maori chiefs. https://www.scoopwhoop.com/inothernews/17-most-expensive-things/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C5544616871 http://www.therichest.com/luxury/most-expensive/a-look-at-10-of-the-worlds-most-expensive-items/ Lalasticlala, Mynd44

Pooing, urinating is problematic. Think about the agony floating feces, urine could inflict inside a cramped space capsule. Vacuums are use to suck out poo. When NASA started planning longer missions, they had to take astronauts' bowels into consideration. To minimize their bowel movements, astronauts had a high-protein, low-residue diet think steak and eggs and other foods that are don't make a lot of waste after they are absorbed by the body. Urinating wasn't much easier for the Apollocrews. Their urine collection device was basically a condom-like pouch attached to a hose that vented out into the vacuum of space at the turn of a valve. A view of the toilet compartment in the Zvezda Service Module of the International Space Station (ISS).

The astronauts on board use a variety of laptops to complete their experiments. To the right in this image, one of the detachable blue handrailsused by the astronauts to remain stationary while suspended in microgravity can also be seen.

Pictured is the Galley Table, which is big enough for six astronauts to eat together. It was designed by high school students working with Nasa scientists.

Pictured is a close-up view of the SpaceX Dragon Docking Vehicle. Dragon is a free-flying spacecraft designed to deliver both cargo and people to orbiting destinations.

The Italian-built Permanent Multipurpose Module (PMM) is attached to the Earth-facing side of the Unity node. The PMM is a large, reusable pressurized element that was originally used to ferry cargo back and forth to the station.

This image of the interior view from the International Space Station's Cupola module was taken on January 4. The large bay windows allowsthe Expedition 42 crew to see outside. The Cupola houses one of the space station's two robotic work stations used by astronauts to manipulate the large robotic arm seen through the right window.
Most images on the ISS are taken in the cupola, where there are often as up to eight cameras set up with different lenses. At times, astronauts compete with each other for the best position.
The Cupola (named after the raised observation deck on a railroad caboose)is a small module designed for the observation of operations outside the ISS such as robotic activities, the approach of vehicles, and extravehicular activity (EVA)
This area of the ISS contains space suits also known as Extravehicular Mobility Units. They provide crew members with life support that enables extravehicular activity.
The US Laboratory Module, called Destiny, (pictured) is the primary research laboratory for US payloads, supporting a wide range of experiments and studies contributing to health, safety, and quality of life for people all over the world
Sixteen nations were involved in the construction of the ISS: The United States, Russia, Canada, Japan, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Now, fans of the International Space Station can take a dizzying virtual tour of all 15 of its modules using Google Street View to experience it for themselves. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4713920/Google-Street-View-International-Space-Station.html

While reconstruction has begun on the east side of Mosul, the West side is far more damaged and will take more time to rebuild. In this July 11, 2017 photos, damaged buildings are lit by the setting sun on the west side of Mosul, Iraq
'They butchered them by using suicide bombers who included females and brainwashed children,'even in camps for the displaced, he said. Since military operations began in October to retake Mosul from IS extremists, he said approximately one million people have been displaced. UN envoy.
But west of the Tigris, neighborhoods have been rendered into ghost towns. There, coalition strikes killed some 5,805 civilians between February 19 and June 19, according to Airwars, a London-based monitoring group tracking civilian deaths resulting from coalition actions.
All five of the city's bridges spanning the Tigris River have been damaged. The main hospital complex where a battle raged for more than a month is a burned out shell. Mosul's airport looks like a derelict parking lot, booby-trapped with explosives by fleeing IS fighters. In eastern Mosul, the destruction was less intense. More than 160,000 of the 176,000 people who fled the east have returned, according to the UN. Residents have begun rebuilding homes, shops have reopened, and demining is underway.
IS fighters had turned the city into a fortress, holding tens of thousands of civilians as human shields. Iraqi forces often turned to artillery and US-led coalition airstrikes. The Old City was the last battlefield. When al-Abadi declared victory in Mosul on July 10, he pledged reconstruction would begin soon. But his government still struggles to finance day-to-day workings of the state amid low oil prices. Thousands of Mosul families have been left without a home. Schools have been leveled, utility grids wrecked, highways pounded into broken dirt roads.
The population, once numbering over 3 million, is battered and exhausted, with hundreds of thousands displaced. Without a swift campaign to rebuild Mosul, aid and rights groups warn the current humanitarian crisis will balloon and resentment will likely give way to extremism, undermining the victory. It took Iraq's US-backed forces nearly nine months to wrest Mosul from the Islamic State group, and the cost was enormous destruction, especially in the western part of the city. Mosul was finally liberated on July 10.
Mosul's Old City, which once stood as a neighborhood of densely built alley ways and homes on winding lanes, has been reduced to rubble by a months-long war to root out the Islamic State. The effect of the battle, which ended as jihadists made their last attempt to hold on to the region earlier this month, can be seen in stark before and after satellite photographs. Much of the city has been leveled, with rubble and dust covering what was once a thriving neighborhood inIraq. Nearly a third of the Old City, more than 5,000 buildings have been damaged or destroyed in the final three weeks of bombardment up to July 8, according to a survey by UN Habitat using satellite imagery. Across the city, 10,000 buildings were damaged over the course of the war, the large majority in western Mosul, the scene of the most intense artillery, airstrikes and fighting during the past five months. The survey only covers damage visible in satellite photos, meaning the real number is likely higher. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/mosul-satellite_us_596d34a3e4b0e983c0586c3b http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4706440/Mosul-completely-destroyed-war-against-ISIS.html

SmartMugu:You nailed it bro, that's the problem here. Overpopulation and our maintenance culture is so poor Each room in our hostels should house maximum of 2-3 students. Not 5-10 in a room. |

Hub at Tucson(Tucson, USA). This student accommodation in Tucson has a rooftop sun deck with swimming pool, a hot tub, and games area. It also has some mean barbecue grills and a sandpit with hammocks and a volleyball net. The list goes on and on. This is definitely one of the best residences in the world.
