If he follows android releases he would have known that Android 11 removed direct access to the Android folder.
I thought there are other ways to get your progression updated, that android folder can destroy or make some things in phone misbehave.

Have you seen me complain about anything on my phone apart from that my new android 11 increased my boot time and battery life. No just force words out of my mouth, it won't be good for any of us. If you don't know how to manage apps in your phone don't judge me in same light. I know why I have those apps and my phone have never lost speed apart from when I mistakenly increased the transition and animation effects in developer settings to 10x, apart feom that my phone have been sweet. Please be guided.

Third party launchers don't work with gestures on Android 11 for now. They are yet to integrate to Android 11.
I've never used third party apps except for music and video which I normally use poweramp and km video, every other apps has been the default such as my launcher.
I later found the gesture, I had to set it all over again from settings and its like my battery improved.

Its like this our android 11 in global note 9 pro sneaks in at night when sleep is in gear 16 cos I drive fiat, once you don't update then, the update will disappear and even if you downloaded manually you wouldn't be able to update manually.

Today by 3 am I saw it again, thank God I still had enough data, I deleted the previous zipped rom file of 2.3 gb I downloaded manually that refused to update and downloaded straight from OTA, my 4g do behave somehow these days, so to ensure steady network I switched to 3G, it was slow in the margin of 5mb/s but I wasn't discouraged as I left every other thing to concentrate on the update.

It got to 91% and froze as in my data counter was showing 0.0mb/s, I knew my village people were awake with me, for long I almost lost hope that I will download when I confirm the update is common but decided to switch to 4g, as in anything wey wan happen make en happen, it took like 7 seconds when I saw 20.something mb/s, it will increase or decrease but what I saw later in my notification is to tap to reboot download is ready, na so I rush press am, pia m my phone off and the updating started...

I now have the android 11, noting much now per cosmetic changes, but my booting speed increased, my phone booted to lockscreen in 25.4 seconds but finished all booting plus loading of apps in 1 minute and 4 seconds, I have over 600 apps in my phone.

My gesture just disappeared that am seeing navigation buttons that I've never used inlmy phone. I noticed this security app force closing so I had to do some hard restarting but I still got it. Apart from that noting again though will be monitoring my phone to notice any change.

Has anyone successfully changed (sperated) redmi 7 calibrator from screen? The calibrator is bad but screen is intact, I bought the Cali already but they are telling me it's a 50-50 chance, that the screen could get damaged while trying to separate it.

*PS, I am open to selling off the redmi 7, plus the calibrator if I get a good offer.
Should have asked this question before going to buy the calibrator. You will definitely damage your screen in the process. It would have been the best resource, cost, time and economics wise to have bought the whole screen even it is better with the body.

Thanks for the assistance
Just did what you said, when it was time to upgrade from the externally downloaded file. It says 'it's not allowed to upgrade to unofficial rom package. Can't verify source.'
I wanted to warn you to tell you that this was going to happen, since you've downloaded the rom, just leave it in your storage with hope that when the roll out is available again, you can install it. That is what I did to mine, I still have my downloaded zip file waiting for the day it will be installable.

I've been using Xiaomi products for over 3 years because of MIUI. I don't get why people say they don't like the skin. I don't like One UI either, and I'm yet to see what people see in Stock Android. So bland and uninspiring
Stock android is the worst especially with its inflexibility to customization. Miui has always been the best, loads and lots of themes, stable apps. Xiaomi have always being the right choice.

Fellow RN9 Pro geng. grin

Very few people will see it from this view point.

Two months ago, I was looking to sell my 9 Pro, add money and get the 10 Pro. Then I saw the A52, I whipped out my notepad and listed out the specs.

I was shocked. The RN9 Pro and the A52 had the exact same specs. Same SoC and same main camera resolution. The RN9 Pro has the bigger battery with faster charging. The A52 has waterproofing, OIS and better UW camera. The rest specs were based on personal preferences.

The thing surprised me. What shocked me most was the price of the A52. Ehn. Na so I hold my phone say I no dey sell again. The A52 made me appreciate Xiaomi even more. Xiaomi phones na giveaway abeg. The Miui software may not be the best, but who software epp. I'm a hardware guy. I don't even like One IU anyway.
You are not alone in the hardware gang of a thing, there is always something special that xiaomi will use to convince you that you are making the right choice, if it is not price, it will be the hardware, etc. Seriously I love their miui android flavor and launcher, I've never substituted for any other launcher and if not for very flimsy excuse and reasons I still prefer their default mi video and mi music apps to the km video player and power amp I purchased which I've ruined the sound quality with the numerous equalizer customizations, now am back to mi music app and just looking at the power amp. To me almost everything in this my note 9 pro is perfect that is why my body didn't shake to upgrade when note 10 pro arrived unlike me before, also I have this phobia for amoled screens cos am fond of breaking my screens and those are fuckin costly but when next am ready to upgrade, I'll find a way to love amoled screens cos they seem to be more aesthetic than lcd.

Thank God I backed it up and it is still in my download folder. So its still going to be installable sometime cos it is still present in the app where I got the file from. Thank you for your prompt response.

You can imagine. I think I remember when Xiaomi first came to Nigeria, somebody said it, either gptech or grandmufti, said that the coming of xiaomi to Nigeria was the coming of problem. Initially I was like why would you say such a thing. But the more events unfold the more I realise that he was right absolutely Nigerians don't deserve good brands. We should stick with transsion and Samsung and co that will overprice mediocre products for us. That's what we deserve.

If them bring Mi 11 Ultra come Nigeria officially and make it publicly available, people will still complain that it's overhyped.

Please, if not others I really appreciated xiaomi for their coming to Nigeria because I discovered on time what transsion was doing on time that made me instead to go for belgium or london used premium brands such as lg g2, samsung s3, etc. I bought the brand new nokia e6 when symbian belle was still existing but as for androids, it was the belgium or london used premium android phones then, one problem I had then was battery backup wasn't great, sometimes network bands not matching plus bloatwares from vodacoms, orange, etc but I hated transsion right from time. My ever first brand new android phone was the redmi 6 pro, I can remember vividly how assured I felt at the balance strucked between the phone hardware quality, software and price. The picture below is the amulet or neck whatsoever that I proudly rocked then with the follow come charger of the redmi 6 pro. I dashed the phone out but see how solid and neat the amulet or whatever that thing is and the charger is still solidly working as I gave it to my cousin which he is using to charge his phone abandoning his own follow come charger of a phone he just bought last two weeks. I really love what xiaomi did to people like me, can't say for others but I know there are people who really appreciate the influx of xiaomi phones into Nigeria. They gave us a better and balanced options between the hoodlums transsion flooded the market with and the expensive vagabonds samsung and co wanted to murder average middle class people like us that wanted quality devices at affordable rates.

na so one guy was comparing the redmi note 9pro to iphone 11,according to him people where hyping xiaomi and he went ahead to buy redmi note 9 pro but las las xiaomi was trash because he now use iPhone 11
I tried using gcam in note 9 pro, it was very poor, in fact my default camera app shot better pictures, do you know why? It was all my fault, I don't know how to tweak the gcam or am I photographically savy and not even that interested in photography just wanted to follow the band wagon of gcam people but got disinterested and abandoned it because I didn't know how to use it and instead found the default camera app easier to use not that I've not seen better gcam pictures just all my fault.

He should attack the message not the messenger. I doubt he would have seen anything wrong in the statement if he is a Northerner.

Most politicians including him are always playing to the gallery instead of enriching the debate constructively and intellectually to find a permanent solution.

Why will you unilaterally impose a blanket ban on the herdsmen including those who are law abiding and not see it as akin to banning spare parts dealers in the north, knowing that it is dominated by southerners who mostly sell fake spare parts that still take away lives? Malami is in order and it is time to bring up a superior position instead attempt to bully him

This is a great opportunity to resolve this age long problem and the leaders for and against open grazing should think as patriots and look beyond their regions alone. There are herdsmen in interior communities where open grazing has not led to problems and when you ban open grazing by fiat, to what extent will it affect the small holders who can't afford to start a ranch immediately? If they all quit being herdsmen and become bandits, the society will still pay for it.
So I expect serious intelligent suggestions on this issue abeg. I know that bigotry and hatred will prevent some people to look at the big picture but this is time for the patriots.
Nawa ooo! How I found myself in same country with someone who reasons like a zinjatropus is heart wrenching.

Like seriously you are supporting this malami of a man? Please, the governors who came together to ban open grazing, are they only Igbos, so why point to Igbos in your imbecilic mohammedian way of violence.

The igbo man selling spare parts in the north, is he selling it on peoples farm or inside the forest? I know you know that they pay their rent, buy a portion of land, pay their tax both federal and state and contribute resourcefully to the development of wherever they find themselves. That is all we are asking your terrorist brothers, leave peoples farms, what are you doing inside the forest? Stop raping and killing our sisters and mothers, though I know your prophet mohammed was a rapist but when you are in rome, you behave like romans.

The garriki areas we normally dash you guys, do you see how dirty and messed up it is, the stench in the air there can give you a disease worse than ebola or HIV. All we ask is that you behave like normal people like we Igbos in the north do. Rent, buy, lease, etc a land, develop it, pay your tax and make a positive impact in whatever society you find yourself. See to be honest most Igbos have stopped eating your beef since we saw those videos where you defile female cows. We now know all your plans.

That you guys will turn to bandits is nobodys business, how many south easterners have bandits affected before? How many south easterners are been killed by bokoharam and ISWAP? Now, out of wickedness you decided to come destroy our farms and kill us, ESN started showing you guys pepper.

The governors should stand firm in their resolution and leave the enforcement of the ban to we law abiding citizens, we know what to do to make them regret ever entering Nigeria in the first day.
