demo4ril97: You would need to be referred with a letter by a doctor, before you can be qualified to get the attention of doctors at teaching hospital. How did you get the doctor to refer you? The doctor who referred you, was he in the teaching hospital as well |

demo4ril97: Yes there was a visible decrease around the operated area post surgery, which later formed a fluid (seroma) within a week and was drained out.
Healing process should depend on your body system, I think there begins a noticable change within 6-weeks.
It exactly one year March 28 I got the surgery done and I can now go shirtless and do most activities I have stopped while growing up. Sorry to pull your mind back to this post. But how did you approach the doctor to refer you for surgery. The doctor I met at a government hospital - not a teaching hospital, said he would never recommend me for surgery unless it was cancerous, no matter how serious it was. I want to go to a teaching hospital but I dont want the doctor to tell the same thing. Thanks |

I met a doctor for a condition - gynecomastia and he asked me to get some tests done.
I'd like to know a range of what to expect.
