Video footage from one of Rihanna's 2011 concert has just surfaced online. It shows the pop star giving a lap dance to a male fan identified as GJ Kooijman, on stage in Holland.

Popular actor Emeka Ike was made a sports ambassador at the Rhythm 'N' Play event that held yesterday June 6th at the Velodrome of the Abuja National Stadium.

Rhythm N’ Play is an initiative of the Nigeria Academicals Sports Committee (NASCOM), which was inaugurated by the Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, late last year. The campaign is aimed at enhancing mass youth participation in sporting activities in Nigeria.

President Jonathan launched the inaugural campaign yesterday, where some celebrities were made ambassadors. Emeka Ike's job is to help promote grassroots sport in the country. Ice Prince and Victor Moses were also made ambassadors.

If the words of Dame Patience Jonathan – wife
of President Goodluck Jonathan, are to be
believed, opposition parties should forget
about 2015 because 100 of them put together,
can never defeat the Peoples Democratic Party,
PDP.

The first lady said this at the presentation of
“PDP Women in power” calendar 2013 in
Abuja on Thursday.

Speaking further, Dame Patience Jonathan said
that even if 100 parties merged against PDP
they will never defeat the party, adding that it
was only the PDP that has implemented the 35
percent affirmative action plan for women.

She said that she will never contest election in
Nigeria and that anytime her husband retired
she would go back home with him.

On the First Lady Peace Mission building, Dame
Patience appealed to the National Assembly to
pass the N4 billion budgeted for the project,
saying it was not for her personal use but for
Nigeria and would generate employment for
the youths.

She recalled that when former first ladies
Maryam Babangida and Mariam Abacha built
the Women Centre and the National Hospital in
Abuja respectively, they did not carry the
buildings with them when they left
government, adding that she will not go with the peace mission building when her tenure
expires.

Stressing that the peace mission project was
initiated by late President Yar’Adua, she
pleaded that Nigeria should not lose the
opportunity to host the AFLPM as other
countries lobbied for the mission to be in their
but it was given to Nigeria on a platter of gold. She noted that the United Nations and ECOWAS
buildings are being maintained by Federal
Capital Territory Administration.

She then cautioned women to resist being
used to kick against the project, adding that if
the project was for men the budget for the
project would have long been passed.

Rihanna might have just celebrated the best
birthday of her life so far; she spent her 25th
birthday with beau, Chris Brown. The two went
to Hawaii with the Barbadian singer’s family
and took to her Instagram page to share
pictures of her special day.

The pop star was obviously in high spirits; she
was all smiles in the pictures, where she was
joined by her brother Rorrey and best friend
Melissa. “#phuckyoballoons ha! My birthday
owned hoes,” wrote RiRi, who was presented
with a Rasta-colored cake that said “One Love” in honor of her musical idol Bob Marley, which

Those were some of the words from the mouth
of Gongo Aso crooner, 9ice as he apologized
profusely to fans who had gathered for over
four hours to watch him perform at a Valentine
gig in New Jersey, USA.

From the video, a cross section of fans can be
heard expressing their frustrations, anger and
disgust at 9ice for not keeping to time; the
show was supposed to start around 8pm but
the Nigerian singer did not show up until
around 3am to the initial anger of some of the fans who threatened to boo him off stage.

Immediately 9ice stepped into the venue amid
tight security, he immediately got on stage and
prostrated flat on his belly as he apologized
endlessly. He then opened his performance

Following Lil Wayne’s claim he
had been banned from all NBA
events, the league’s
spokesperson has said there is
no iota of truth in Weezy’s claim.

According to NBA Senior Director
of Basketball Communications
Mark Broussard, there is “no
truth at all” to the claims Weezy
made during a performance in
Houston over the weekend.

Lil Wayne had told the crowd the
NBA had banned him from all
events because of his beef with
the Miami Heat organization,
stemming from an incident last
week … when Wayne says he was kicked out of a Heat game
for rooting for the Lakers. The
Heat organization however said

kicked out.

During the rant, Wayne also said
he slept with Adrienne, Miami

Facts have begun to emerge regarding the real story behind Wizkid and Banky's fallout. The reason is not unconnected with the rising sensational singer being made a cash cow for the EME label.

An Insider opened up that Wizzy
(his nickname) is at war with
Banky W and EME because he
wants a contract review which
Banky W has refused to grant
him.

The source pointed out that since
Ayodeji Balogun known as
Wizkid signed with EME, he has
been getting just 25% from
whatever he gets paid to perform
at an event with Banky W�s Empire Mate Entertainment.

EME is owned by Banky W and
Segun Demuren who get 50%;
and Osagie, Wizzy's ex-manager
who introduced him to Banky
after big record labels like Mo-Hits
and Storm records rejected him, also got 25% from his hard
earned money.



"It is true they are having
problems and this might just be
the end of EME and Wizkid. When
Wizzy signed his first (and last)
contract with EME late in 2009, he
saw Banky as his messiah because he was nobody in the
music industry. It was a 75-25
sharing formula.

Then Wizkid didn't mind because
he was bent on building his
musical career. In his contract,
Banky W promised to take care of
his accommodation, feeding and
also his school and based on this fact, Wizkid accepted all the terms
of agreement.



Later, Wizzy sacked
his manager, Osagie replacing
her with Godwin because he felt
she was getting too much.

Wizkid was getting just 25% from
every show because EME would
take 50% while Osagie was
taking 25%." Says an inside
source.




Wizzy sacked Osagie because she
was not ready to receive 10%,
but it doesn't end there. He was
also having problems with Osagie
who refused to come to terms
with the fact that he was no longer the boy she picked up 4
years ago and couldn't be
bossed around.



The two had a bad falling out
during which things deteriorated
to the point where they began
calling each other names. After
the fight, he sacked Osagie.

This development did not go
down well with Banky W but
because Wizzy was close to the
end of his contract with EME, he
gave in.

Osagie was replaced by
Godwin, who works for EME, and still continued too get 25%. So till
the expiration of the old contract,
75% was still going to EME, while
Wizkid made do with 25%. When Wizkid's contract expired
late last year, he wanted a
contract review requesting the
75-25 sharing formula be
reviewed to 50-50 but Banky
would not accept his proposal.



Banky wanted EME to provide a
manager who would keep taking
25%, but Wiz insisted he wanted
50%, and that he would pay his
manager out of his own pocket. This issue had been dragging
since September 2012 and that
could have explained why
Wizkid moved out of Banky's
Ogudu GRA residence and got a
new apartment in Lekki.

What got Wizzy miffed was that
he was making all the money for
EME and was getting less. Also,
the money being made was
being used to finance the project
of other EME stars namely, Niyola, Skales and Shaydee.



Apparently Wizkid's international
fame gave him more confidence
to stand out on his own.

Riding
on this platform, he signed a
management deal with
Disturbing London, an international management
company.

Right now, his second
Album is ready and features stars
like Wale, Chris Brown, Tinie
Tempar and others. Another inside source also adds:


"the last time Wizkid charged
1million for a show was about 3
years ago. Before his fracas with
EME, he was charging nothing
less than three million per show, and the fee for corporate shows
was way higher. In a week, Wiz was doing at least
three shows, and raking in
nothing less than 6million naira
for EME on the average, totaling
up to about 24 million naira per
month.

During festive periods, particularly Christmas,

the
amount he raked in was about
triple that amount or more, and
he charges even more for
international shows. Then there were endorsements,
the biggest of which was the
PEPSI deal for which he was paid
a staggering sum of $365,000. Of
all these, Wizkid was only getting
25%.


" The final straw was Banky's
album launch recently. Wizkid
was not invited for the show but
he went all the same to show
solidarity for his former label
boss. Also, before the show, the contract review argument was
still on ground and Wizkid was
hoping the label would
reconsider and take his offer.


What he really wanted was 50%,
out of which he would pay his manager, bodyguard, and mopol
entourage, which he thought
was reasonable. However, during the show, Wiz
was snubbed. The label refused
to acknowledge his presence,
and with this, the relationship
with EME was severed. Wizkid is
now operating under his own label STARBOY RECORDS. So serious is the EME-Wizkid
fallout that the label is now
making people take sides.
Sources say EME members no
longer want to have anything to
do with Wizkid and anyone that has any dealings with him.
Banky W may not have given his
side of the story but insiders note
that Banky has spent a lot to
make Wizkid who he is now. He feels Wizkid is not grateful and
has forgotten where he was
coming from.

Sources say that
Segun Demuren, Co-owner of EME
has vowed to deal with Wiz-kid
and make him regret ever leaving label.

For 20 years, near Lake Tanganyika in Burundi, locals have been terrorized by one of the largest freshwater crocodiles in the world.The victims were killed by the crocodile when they were fetching water from rivers. A large number of crocodile eggs were also collected along river banks, meaning that the threat is multiple.

The 25 foot long crocodile,
named Gustave, has an insatiable
appetite for people. He is known
for having eaten over 200
people, though some believe that
number to be as high as 300.

In the past, all attempts to catch
or kill Gustave were unsuccessful.
Still, for one man who has made it
his mission to hunt the crocodile,
there may be a more humane
solution to stopping this man- eater.

Infamous cases, when crocodile
hunters were even more
determined to stop these killings,
but ended up with some of their
body parts missing - can by no
means be left unnoticed.

Patrice Faye is Frenchman, but
he’s been living in Burundi for
the past two decades. He became
something of a local hero 11
years ago when he made his first
attempts to capture Gustave using a trap, but that didn’t work
out well.

“He must have a very strong
survival instinct , because he has
survived while other crocodiles
were massacred,” Faye told the
BBC Brasil. Despite the fact that
Gustave has eaten so many people, Faye still has respect for
his elusive nemesis–and does not
intend on killing him.

A Texas couple trying to give their son a little sister gave him four brothers instead, beating the odds to deliver quadruplets - two sets of identical twin boys conceived at the same time.

Tressa Montalvo, 36, gave birth to
quadruplets Ace,
Blaine, Cash and Dylan on Valentine’s day, according to a
statement from The Woman’s
Hospital of Texas in Houston. Ace
and Blaine shared one placenta,
while Cash and Dylan shared
another.

“We tried to stick to the A-B-C-D
theme when naming them,”
Montalvo said in the statement.
“We didn’t expect it, we were
trying for just one and we were
blessed with four.”

Montalvo and her husband,
Manuel Montalvo Jr., 43, thought
they were having twins until their
doctor detected a third fetal
heartbeat. They were then
referred to a maternal fetal medicine specialist, Dr. Brian
Kirshon, who found a fourth
heartbeat.

“We couldn’t have been more surprised when Dr. Kirshon told us we were having four babies and that they were two sets of twins,” Manuel Montalvo said in the statement. “We were trying for one little brother or sister for our two-and-a-half year old son, Memphis.”

Roughly 2 percent of all
pregnancies result in one set of
identical twins, when a fertilized
egg splits into two embryos. The
odds of having two sets at the
same time? Pretty slim, according to Dr. James Grifo, director of the
NYU Fertility Center.

“The chance of this outcome is approximately one in 10,000,” Grifo said of two embryos splitting after IVF. “This could also occur in a natural conception, but the chance of that is much [rarer].”

The Montalvos’ pregnancy was
all natural, according to Tressa
Montalvo. “No fertility drugs were used.


We planned the pregnancy – I
guess we just succeeded a little
too much!”

Because identical twins can share
an amniotic sac and a placenta,
they’re at risk for becoming
tangled in each others’ umbilical
cords and twin-to-twin
transfusion syndrome – a rare placental disease that results in
one twin getting less blood than
the other.

“Having multiples certainly adds
risk to a pregnancy in and of
itself,” said Dr. Kimberly Gesci, an
obstetrician at UH Case Medical
Center in Cleveland, Ohio. “One of
the biggest risks is preterm delivery and growth restriction.”

The Montalvo brood was born by C-section at 31 weeks. The newborns weighed between 3 pounds, 15 ounces and 2 pounds, 15 ounces.

two sets of identical twins isn’t
unheard of. In April, 2011,
Miranda and Josh Crawford of
Charlotte, N.C. gave birth to
identical twin girls and identical twin boys after undergoing in-
vitro fertilization. And in 2002,
Christina Tetrick of Wichita, Kan.
was pregnant with two sets of
identical twin boys, just like the
Montalvos.

But while the Montalvo house just got a lot more crowded, the mom and dad of five say they’re not done yet. “We want a girl,” Manuel
Montalvo said.

in protein will keep you full for longer.
Plus, eggs have other benefits too; they
contain all the essential amino acids in
the exact proportions required by the
body for optimum growth and
maintenance of lean, metabolically
active muscle tissue.
Soup
Starting a meal with a hearty soup is a
great fill-up strategy and there’s plenty
of good research that suggests eating
soup before a meal improves satiety, so
you eat less and take in fewer calories
as a result. You need to be careful on
your soup selection though; your best
option is a homemade soup so you
have control over the ingredients and
you can even include other filling foods

data many of us store on our phones is
truly staggering. A smartphone
provides us direct access to our savings
and checking accounts. It may store our
passwords to Facebook, Twitter,
Pinterest, even our email accounts. The
phone numbers and email addresses of
all our friends and colleagues are easy
to find in our contacts directory.
What chaos could ensue if a thief
happens to get his hands on all that
data? And it probably isn’t especially
hard to steal. Any security system is
only as good as its weakest link, and
humans are the weakest link of all.
Despite our best intentions, how many
of us have left our phones — or come
dangerously close to leaving them — in
the backseat of a taxi, sitting on top of
the toilet paper dispenser at our
favorite restaurant, in the seatpocket
of an airliner, on the bar of a tavern, by
the hotel pool, or on a conference table
after a meeting?
Equally unpleasant, your phone could be
hacked or compromised by a virus
while you are doing online banking —
or browsing the Internet at your
favorite Starbucks, at the airport, in a
hotel lobby, or sitting at a table waiting

protect yourself, losing your phone will

password, backing up all your data and

here are the 10 dumbest things that
people do (or fail to do) with their
smartphones.
1) No password protection.
If you could “lock” your wallet,
wouldn’t you? Well, why don’t more
folks lock their iPhone or Android
phone? While it is nowhere CLOSE to
being foolproof, a phone password
works like the theory of the burglar
and the dog: If you take that extra step
to protect yourself, most bad guys will
simply move on to the next (easier)
target. It’s a lot easier for a thief to
steal a smartphone with no password
than it is to work on cracking your
phone.
2) Shop online with an Internet
browser instead of a shopping app.
If you have the choice between
shopping at Amazon.com using your
phone’s browser versus Amazon’s app,
use the app! Ditto for eBay, Overstock,
and any big retailer that gives you the
option of using their app. Unlike
browsers, dedicated shopping apps are
designed to ward off phishing and
other kinds of scams. (Before you
download it, just make sure it’s really
their official app!)
3) Remain logged into banking,
PayPal, eBay, and other sensitive
apps.
Would you keep your Macy’s credit
card, Wells Fargo debit card or AmEx on
top of your desk at work? How about
the front seat of your car? I think not.
Then why would you keep your phone
permanently logged into those same
accounts? When you finish banking or
shopping, make sure to log out. And
NEVER click the box asking the app to
save your user ID or password. Yes, it’s
a pain in the b*tt to log in every time.
We all tend to value convenience over
security. But if a thief gets a hold of a
phone that is already logged into
sensitive accounts — especially if that
phone has no password — it could spell
financial disaster. And remember,
turning off your devices every now
and then can be a good idea.
4) Automatically connect to any
available WiFi connections
.
Whether you are using your laptop,
tablet or smartphone, switch off the
feature that connects to nearby WiFi
networks automatically. Otherwise,
hackers with the right software can
easily hack your phone, as security
experts have warned us for more than
a decade.
5) Leave Bluetooth connections
open.
Bluejacking, Bluesnarfing, Bluebugging.
These are all words that describe a
hacker exploiting the open Bluetooth
connection on your phone. While this
type of hack requires the intruder to be
relatively close to you (less than 30 feet
away), the intrusion can occur
undetected in a busy airport, hotel
lobby, restaurant, or at a conference.
6) Fail to properly purge data from
old smartphones.
This is a very common mistake. Many
people fail to remove sensitive,
personal data from their smartphone
before taking it out of service,
donating it or selling it. Short of
physically shredding your device
(which is the only surefire way to
delete all your data in an irretrievable
manner). Deleting data before getting
rid of your phone is simple common
sense.
7) Download “free” apps that aren’t
actually free.
Some Apps that call themselves “free”
are actually little more than thinly-
disguised data thieve

Governor Idris Wada of Kogi state was in high
spirits yesterday when President Goodluck
Jonathan paid him a visit at the private hospital
where he is presently receiving treatment for
injuries sustained when his official car crashed
at Emi Woro village in Kogi state last Friday. The president who arrived the Cedar Cross
Hospital, Abuja at about 3:15pm, was received
by Minister of Health Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu
and the hospital’s Chief Medical Director (CMD),
Dr. Felix Ogedengbe. Dr. Jonathan, who was accompanied by some
of his aides, wore a brown stri*ped kaftan with
a red cap and a pair of brown shoes to match. After exchanging pleasantries with the
minister who got to the hospital much earlier,
the President was shown to the governor’s
ward. Governor Wada who wore a light blue kaftan
with a cap, slightly raised up his body and
stretched out his arm for a handshake upon
sighting the president. The two cracked some
jokes and the governor showed the President
his right leg which is in a plaster just as the doctor explained the nature of the injury to the
President while the Minister of Health listened
with rapt attention. The President wished the governor speedy
recovery before departing 15 minutes
