Great write up OP. But we shouldn't forget the fact that the processor, GPU and the RAM are all on board, no room for future upgrade. I believe this new trend may bring about the death of Windows. They will have to look into a better optimized. On a gloomy side, I can't see a better future for Android and Windows; Apple is going the way of Huawei's Harmony. One OS for all your home appliances and smartphone as well as these OS are cost efficient in utilizing hardwares. Why pay much for hardware with low efficiency or pay less for hardware and well optimised OS.

Hello, guys, so I'm trying to save up for a phone (so damn tired of KaiOS) and I have planned to spend not more than 42k. I plan to raise the funds by March. I saw the Umidigi A7 (4GB LPDDR4X/64GB eMMC 5.1) as fufilling my criteria (not less than 2GB RAM, I believe that it is good ram management, not EXTRA RAM that makes a phone multitask acceptably). My only other option is the Nokia 2.3 (2GB LPDDR3/32GB eMMC 5.1). I want stock Android (though I don't really like it) because it makes the most of the hardware I want and I certainly HATE ads and for now, bloatware. I wonder what y'all think about these phones. Both run on stock Android. The a7 is a good buy but don't forget OS upgrade on Nokia.
