The Imo state University has completed preparations for her 2012/2013 post-UTME exercise which has been scheduled to hold on the 25th of June, 2012.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE POST-UTME SCREENING TEST
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 180 in the 2012/2013 JAMB UTME.
• Candidates in the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Law which must have obtained a minimum of 200 marks in the 2012/2013 JAMB UTME.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE
Registration for the 2012/2013 IMSU post-utme commences from TUESDAY, the 5th of JUNE and ends on the 20th of June, 2012.
SCREENING AND 2012/2013 IMSU POST-UTME RESULT RELEASE
• The post-utme examination holds from MONDAY JUNE 25 – WEDNESDAY JUNE 27
• The screening results would be released online on MONDAY, JULY 2nd, 2012
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Walk into any of the participating banks and request to make payment for IMSU post UTME e-scratch card or paper scratch card based on the options below, for N2, 500 which will cover the application fee, Screening and Result Checking.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE 1:
• GO ONLINE TO imsu.postutme.org to buy scratch cards online, click the “Buy Pin Online” link on the site.
• A page displays for you to generate your pin
• The pin will be activated after a successful payment transaction with your ATM card Login with the generated pin for the Post UTME.
PROCEDURE 2:
• Go online to imsu.postutme.org Select “Buy Pin From Bank” link and print generated pin slip
• Walk into any branch of

- First Bank PLC
Nationwide with the slip to make payment Bank will post payment to activate your pin Login with the generated pin for the post UTME.
THE PAPER SCRATCH CARD METHOD
First choice Post UTME scratch card are available for those who reside in Owerri or have difficulties in obtaining the e-scratch card receipt:

• Proceed to any internet facility after obtaining the post-utme scratch cards.
• Log in to imsu.postutme.org on the home page,
• select your faculty and department before you enter your JAMB score/Registration number and your scratch card number in the field provided.
• Click on log in and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the form.
FINAL STEP TO IMSU POST UTME
• Confirm your entries before clicking on submit.
• After clicking on submit, print the form as evidence of your registration and bring it along to the screening venue.

Oshiomhole raises alarm on suspected PDP rigging conspiracy

Adams Oshiomhole Governor of Edo State, has told the public to a grand conspiracy by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to manipulate the votes by using federal employees to conduct the July 14 governorship elections.The governor disclosed this during an interactive session with members of the Nigerian Bar Association in Edo State, at the police officers’ mess, Benin City, insisting that the pronouncement of the Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to stop the use of youth corps members for the election will only cause confusion in the state.

Comrade Oshiomhole, who said that the PDP at a meeting in Abuja protested the use of youth corps members for the conduct of the election, because they are anticipating violence, noted that, it is a reflection of what they have in mind.

“They protested that they do not want corps members to conduct the elections, because they saw some corps members at the venue of our campaigns even when it was obvious that the rallies are held in schools and students are in session. They claimed the decision was due to the violence in the state,” he noted.

According to him, “they can bring the youth corps members from anywhere, from Sokoto, from Maiduguri, but we do not want federal employees. This election must be won or lost at the polling booth.”

Comrade Oshiomhole urged the NBA to prevail over the NYSC Director- General not to allow anybody to manipulate them, and if they allow federal civil servants to be used to conduct the election, they will bring people that will manipulate the election.

The governor who gave an account of his stewardship said he was fired to go into politics because of the poor state of affairs in the state which has so much promise and to demonstrate that the state was viable and that led to the administration doing some things differently.

“We have focused on areas completely abandoned by previous administrations and succeeded in delivering the greatest good to the greatest number of people around Benin City and across the state. We have made a bold statement on roads, connecting the rural communities with semi urban areas,” he noted.

He said Edo people will not forget in a hurry the horrible state of Benin City before his assumption of office, adding that that the government has now restored integrity in public schools, reordered government’s operations and cleaned up the wastage in the system.

Am Not Yet Healed Says Enebeli Elebuwa

PASTOR Sign Fireman of Perfect Christianity Ministry, Surulere’s claim that he has healed Enebeli Elebuwa was debunked during the week as WG investigation revealed that the ailing actor is still lying critically ill in an hospital in Abuja.Last weekend, Sign Fireman released a video on You tube which showed the ailing veteran actor taking steps with the man of God. But reacting to the purported healing when contacted by WG, the actor said contrary to the man of God’s claim as showed in the video which he released on You tube, his condition has not changed.

Though he admitted visiting the church as well as receiving prayers from Fireman, Elebuwa insisted that his conditions didn’t improve as claimed by the controversial pastor.

He said: “If he claims that he has healed me, I leave everything to God. I was in his church and he prayed for me but my condition did not improve.” In the video released last week, Freeman claimed that Enebeli was already healed and that in a matter of days he would be fully back on his feet.

The veteran actor is currently receiving treatment at the Abuja National Hospital. He needs the prayers and support of well-meaning Nigerians to get back to his feet again. Enebeli was struck by stroke late last year. Enebeli has been sick for more than a year now and he has been taking from different hospitals in Lagos and Abuja.

FUTO Post UTME 2012 /2013 Exam Date

FUTO Post UTME 2012 /2013 Exam Date is finally out! The date for FUTO Post UTME 2012 /2013 Examination is from the 14th of June, Thursday to the 16th of June Saturday.

This examination is for those candidates who chose FUTO either as their first choice of university and scored 180 and above in the 2012 JAMB UTME exams.

Qualified candidates are required to pay the sum of One thousand naira (N1, 000.00) and obtain a scratch card from the following Banks all over the country:

First Bank Plc
Diamond Bank Plc.
UBA Plc.
First City Monument Bank.

After depositing the money, an e-transact slip will be issued to you from the bank, you are not to lose this slip.

You should go the school portal at www.futo.edu.ng with your e-transact receipt number and complete the Post-UTME Screening online form.
Complete the application form carefully
Upload your passport photograph
Preview the completed form and submit.
Print the completed on-line registration form



Requirements for the Screening Examination

Candidates are to come to the examination hall with the following documents:

1. Original JAMB Result Slip and photocopy.

2. e-transact slip used for registration

3. Two copies of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri FUTO online Registration form duly completed, carrying a passport-size photograph

4. UTME result slip and photocopy

5. Writing Materials include: HB pencils, sharpener and Erasers

Osun State University 2012/2013 post UTME registration form is out, and the screening has been fixed to take place on the 16th day of June, 2012 in the university.

How to complete the UNIOSUN 2012 post UTME Registration
Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website: www.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit an application.
They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission. One of these two copies should be brought along together with a copy of the candidate’s Original JAMB Result print-out on the day of the screening exercise. The second copy is to be submitted upon admission to the University.
What of Direct Entry Students?
Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line following the same process as above and report on the screening day.

What are the venues for UNIOSUN screening?

All candidates (UTME and Direct Entry) are to report for screening at the date and centers indicated on their online registration printout. Candidates must report at least one hour before the commencement of the exercise.

Access to the portal is through the use of scratch cards with PIN. Candidates require two scratch cards (one each for registration and result/placement checking), which are obtainable directly from any of the specific branches listed above, upon payment of N5, 000 (five thousand Naira)

What is the deadline for application?
Registration closes on 15th of June 2012 at 12:00 noon and screening date is on the 16th of June as earlier stated above.
