@ RITCHBOY

Don't kid yourself. I know for a fact that quite a few teams from the 90's would give this Barca a good game. If man united had better midfielders for instance, the game IMO would have been much tighter
Much tighter!! But wud lose STILL right?

Akolawole:
1) Everyone of us are sentimental at one point or the other unfortunately i hardly read your comments

2) Use what you have to get what you need. Anything that is allowed can be used.

3) What is the definition of 'parking the bus' if i may ask? Not all of us knew footie terminologies

4) So is Barca at stamford bridge 2 years ago. You know what Inter was lucky to win everything that year tongue They are just bunch of average players coached by an arrogant coach. Init?
1: Your sentiments are beyond being proportionally sentimental, however it aint a necessity for you to read my comments.

2: Yes its legitimate to use what you have to get what you need, whereas in a game of football, shackling your opponent with rough tackles to destroy their game is by far out of a tactical approach, or when did football turn rugby? huh huh

3: You can ask cougar/sharon what "park the bus "  means, Even 190 of the Romance section does know the definition.

4: Would you compare the 2nd runner up team of last seasons seria A' to the Barca team of last season? Would you compare Roma that inter mauled
in the copa italia last season to the Barca team of last season? NO!! Would you also compare the Bayern Munich team of last season Inter Mauled in the UCL finals  to the Barca team of 09? HELL NO!! They might not have been lucky against those teams, but every1 knows they were lucky against Barca.

Spot on @ starboard, but you see, the Bu-lose fans are also on it as well, Bluediva and akolawole are both
skepe cules. And their support for his ugly play can only be extracted from the fact that he brought them out of the
pit of trophyless hell while he took over @ Chelsea. Whatever he does is ok by them.

A united team that destroyed Chelsea home and away lost with pride , and now these bu-lose
fans wanna lick out a glory by saying they cud stiffle Barca better than others. Sorry a55 losers.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: In Fergie We Trust! by eyoniggar(m): 1:38pm On May 30, 2011
@ Akolawole, I have been following your posts right from the El-classico thread and I must confess
that your facts and analysis are clouded by bitterness and sentiments.

How can you classify JM's defensive tactics as the right antidote to stopping Barcas way of playing footie? IMO, the 07/08 UCL tie
with United was more of a tactical genius by sir alex compared to the 1 of mou's, you can park the bus "ryt"but does that
induce using karate and rugby techniques to also stop your opponent from playing? Mou knew just parking the bus this time
wont work so he resulted to instructing his players to be destructive in their tackles. Thats shameful to say the least. Inter
were quite lucky to have escaped elimination last season.

Congratulations are in due order.

I doff my hat to you for drilling us for the better part of 90 minutes.
You are definitely worthy winners (although none of you are agreeing we were gracious in defeat and did not resort to dirty tactics grin). . .
Congratulations once again
Check my post on the United thread.

Thanx for the congratulatory message.

PS: Seems we are playing united again during the pre-season matches.

Henceforth, i would never never never never NOT in my life yab JM for negative football again!.

JM is the winner in this whole scenario. he has been proved right that the only way to STOP Barca is putting 5 strong and agile bulldogs in the Midfield and then hope to score a smash and grab victory against them. That's all!

Any team that does anything less is digging their graves. Boy! Barca outplayed, outthought and outballed us out of the park, yo.

We played the United way and in the process opened our @ss yakata for barca to deposit nonsense inside grin grin

I know JM the master tactician is already plotting Barca's overthrow and failure next season, as his failures this season has taught him a lesson. and i swear JM would def outtthink Barca next season. As much as i no too gbadun Jose, he doesn't lose to the same opponent successively in different seasons. And once Jose dymystify Barca nextseason, that would be the beginning of the end of Barca, as everyone would line up and use Jose's template.

Jose Mourinho, the next Man Utd Manager, insha Allah!!! tongue tongue

I am proud of you guys. @ Least yall lost with pride by coming out to play. Injecting a foul tactics like Mou did
and still losing to this Barca side would essentially seal the fact that this is the worse United team ever.

Thanx anyway. grin tongue

Congrats Cules!! What a mesmerizing performance to clinch our 4th UCL title. I must confess that this performance
has outshone most of the reservations alot of critics/haters have had in store for us for quite some time, mainly:

1: Messi has never scored in England: He did yesterday with a wonderful strike that left VDS thinking the ball
would go right but went left.

2: The Uefa/ref conspiracy_Diving-cheat: The ref was top-notch, a masterclass officiating at its best for such a big occassion. We played against
arguably the 2nd best team in Europe, and there wasnt any form of diving, nor would any1 say the ref was biased against Man-U. With yesterdays game, that conspiracy theory should immediately vamoose off haters cranium.

3: Villa like I told Ajanle came to the party and partied well after suffering a long term goal drought, hes goal against VDS was top class, if that dude
would have stretched farther than he did, he might as well end is carrier with a broken ribs.

All in all, Barca are gonna be paid alot of money, and I sure wasnt side-lined as I went home with 35k in my pocket, 20k aside from 1 client, another 15k aside from the 2nd client. Thank you Barca, thank you cules.

@ Stealthy, nice prediction man, we sure have Barca cules that have that prediction power. Salute to you.
@ cules: If theres any purtay, make a shout out, I reside in gidi.

PS: You guys need to watch the arabic commentary on the first youtube video, you'll laff your guts out. tongue grin

AjanleKoko:
Welcome back Stealthy.

You could also argue that a lot of those teams (Sevilla, Villareal) had precious little left in the tank when they faced a rapacious Madrid that was bitter about going out in the CL semis. Also, Madrid's play is more direct and physical, they run faster, and can slice through these teams easily, while Barca take time to break down the opposition. Whatever the case, if it was easy to score 40(41?) goals in a La Liga season, everybody'll be doing it. Congrats to CR7, we cules respect his game, though we prefer Messi (understandably grin).
GBAM, no sentiments intended. He deserves our respect. tongue
