[Nothing in the quotations supports your assertion that Paul commanded the paying of tithe by Christians. quote author=DeKen post=53034465] 1 Cor 9:9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain." Is it about the oxen that God is concerned? 1 Cor 9:10 Surely he says this for us, doesn't he? Yes, this was written for us, because when the plowman plows and the thresher threshes, they ought to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest. 1 Cor 9:11 If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? 1 Cor 9:12 If others have this right of support from you, shouldn't we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.[/quote] |

Paul never claimed that he is entitled to any commanded tithe. He only used that to illustrate support of spiritual leaders by followers. DeKen: |

Politics / Diezani,okonjo-iweala,sanusi - How We Killed The Economy(video) by ezenaija(m): 1:07am On Jan 22, 2017 |
This a bare-it-all throw-back video where the Economic Management Team of the Jonathan govt was trying to sell the fuel price increase cim subsidy removable move to Nigerians.. Diezani Madueke, Lamido Sanusii and Okonjo-Iweala were the Protagonists. Some of the statements admitting the economic doom and the impending post 2015 suffering will shock you. For example, they admitted having spent more than half of $60billion of savings/reserve handed over to the govt by previous govt and declared that with such low reserve,Nigerians will see the mother of suffering post 2015 if the govt failed to take key measures. And indeed they failed to do the needful. Watch, and comment respectfully please. https://mobile.twitter.com/APCNigeria/status/822938146132332544/video/1 1 Like |

Health / These 5 Diseases Are Caused By Microwave Ovens And You've Probably Ignored Them by ezenaija(m): 12:05pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
A microwave is a form of non-ionizing radiation. As a matter of contrast, ionizing radiation changes the electromagnetic nature of atoms, or ionizes them. This alters the way they interact with other atoms and molecules around them. X-rays, gamma radiation, and nuclear medicine (CT scans, barium swallows, and mammograms) are types of ionizing radiation. Your food is being zapped by high-frequency waves of heat, and some people argue that this radiation can be harmful to your health. In this article we are going to mention the 5, most common diseases, caused by microwave ovens. http://healthymega..com.ng/2016/05/these-5-diseases-are-all-caused-by.html |
Politics / Re: Fayose’s Lawmakers Flee Ekiti State To Avoid Arrest By Police-Adewunmi by ezenaija(m): 7:50pm On Mar 31, 2016 |
hotboz: You are the underaged commentator on this thread. From what the lawmakers said above, the matter at hand relates to the public accusation of electoral fraud levelled against the Gov by his former party secretary.Remember that the Gov encouraged law enforcement agencies to go after the guy. If in investigating the matter, names of participants includes top govt functionaries in the state, how does that portend danger to democracy? So confessed electoral fraudsters and their cohorts should be allowed to fester because they are lawmakers? |

FACT: The stockmarket reacts negatively to falling oil price! This has nothing to do with Buhari. The rise in investments recorded in 2010- 2014 happened because of the corresponding oil boom of that era.If the figures went a little back to 2009,you will notice the slump also caused by the low oil prices of 2008-2009. Investors know that Nigeria economy will suffer during oil doom and they react to that. This happens always! |

You don't seem to have a good understanding of the issue you put out for discussion. Diasporan remittances are not usually for investments but to care for people at home and do projects, celebrations etc. Who is that fool that will stop sending money home when there is forex outflow restriction? As an igbo man,I know as a fact that many of my people are rushing in funds for projects cashing in high dollar rate. Difference is that most ppl use alternative means so as to maximize return on exchane rate. Why receive N200/$ when an get N350/$ by transfering the $$ to China/Dubai and my account in 9ja will be credited with Naira par? 1 Like |
