Hi Engineers!
My 5Kva Felicity Solar inverter now goes off immediately Nepa takes light. It can't power most of my home appliances anymore without it tripping off.
It has been powering every items in my house since I bought it 2 years ago but now, anytime I put on AC, Fridge or TV, it goes off. Bulbs and Fans are still working fine.
Also, I noticed that the inverter has stopped making the humming sound or noise when charging with Nepa light. It is always quiet now when charging.
Please, I would love to know if the inverter or battery is what is faulty.

Felicity Battery hardly communicates with other brands normally

Even Petrol is CHEAPer in Lagos than in Ogun state. In fact transportation generally is CHEAPer in Lagos than in Ogun state.

Same way cost of housing is CHEAPer is many other parts of Nigeria apart from the likes of Lagos.

So you see, just like Lithium vs leadAcid based batteries, everything got it's STRONG and WEAK points but marketers only focus on those they know you wanna hear.

Lead Acid Batteries do not have ANY strong point over Lithium Batteries

I wonder why that giy is always fixated on tubular batteries. He always talks as if its only lithium batteries that have fakes and tubular doesn’t have

Some of these old inverters stay completely silent in normal user except when it hits like 50% of rated capacity and the fans activate.
But these new ajebo hybrid inverters will just have fan constantly on even on low load, and will increase the fan noise with more load hitting it.

These old inverters are just so robust and working for 5-7 years without any single fault

Aluminium is a lot CHEAPer + Good enough when you doing high voltage setUp. na mostly back in the days when solar cables carries more CURRENT than VOLTAGE that one should bother about cable's conductivity. Imagine spending over 100,000 naira to buy copper cable for a high voltage setUp when aluminium cable (NEPA wire) that's thick enough costs way way less than 40%.

There's reason NEPA uses Aluminium and not copper. YES we know copper is more superior BUT that superiority doesn't always matter especially in high voltage setUps like most do nowAdays.

Most in a bid to save costs, ends up buying cheap copper cables some of which are Aluminium coated with copper; or the guage is low.

if you got the money to afford quality COPPER and want to satisfy your conscience or ego, go for that original copper ELSE Aluminium is quite good enough. na mostly those wey dey sell am want to continually make you believe otherwise.

And na wetin I dey use from day 1 despite not doing high voltage

I just try it again now with no pv input and it still carry the pump and it pulling 1.9kw too, I think the issue was with the pump at first, reason it was pulling 4.1kw

I tink na my pump malfunction that's why it was pulling 4.1kw b4, my pv is generating 3.2k and my pump is pulling 1.9kw

Was the submersible pump the only thing that was on?

The power factor of inverter is 1 that's what is stated in the inverter manual
The battery bms has a surge of 270amp± before striping off according to the manual
The Generator that powers the same pump is 7kva
I tink the issue is the inverter cause anytime I switch on the inverter the pump power in watt goes as high as 4.1kw before showing over load

The power factor of that inverter is 0.83

that's one of the low points of (cheap) transformerLess inverters. dem no dey get strength and if you force dem, dem go pop. Even if e manage power am, e life no go long because it's outside it's capacity. You need like 6kva.

Alternatively, you could try increasing capacity of the capacitor in the control box of the submersible pump BUT can't tell how far that can help or if it would help at all. Truth is, that inverter small.

Don't know who told you 1.5HP is 1,500watts. You probably don't know about surge.

But wait Ooo. so you wan use transformerLess inverter of 24v to take power 1.5HP submersible pump.

I have that same inverter and it powers my 1.5hp submersible pump with ease

Pls my 4200watt luxsun inverter 24v could not power my 1.5hpower submersible pump, but it power my electric cooker and hair fryer, when I on my pump the inverter shows the submersible pump is pulling 4kw and shows 100% load. 1.5hpower submersible pump is less than 1500watt I think

I use this same exact Luxsun 4.2kva 24v inverter with a 5kwh Luxsun Lithium battery. The actual capacity of the inverter is 3.5kw, but I have no problem running my 1.5hp submersible pump on it, infact I pump water with it 2 times everyday. The problem might be from your submersible pump itself

Change the float voltage to 28.2. Turn of the system and turn in back on

Yes, it recognises mains, but immediately it starts charging with mains, it automatically disconnects. And the cycle repeat itself until I put off the mains breaker.

I had this same problem with my Luxsun 4.2kva 24v inverter. I reset it the inverter, increased the bulk and float voltages, put the inverter breakers and battery off for some minutes, I put them back on and it started charging normally with grid

Oga Gazzuz pls I need valued input on this. Lately my car honda civic 07 vibrates as if the engine wants to go off when am in a slow moving traffic or standstill traffic If the AC is on but doesn't vibrate when in motion. I had my kazeem check it out yesterday, he cleaned the injector and the fuel pump but the problem still persists. Please what could be the cause of this.

I know it shouldn't be stuck at all, at least from the videos I've watched, but after so much cleaning it still remained stuck half open and one of the screws on the plastic part is stuck, I just wanted to know if the car can still go off when the valve is half open

You are missing the point. Clean it with carb cleaner the proper way and de-carbonize the butterfly area.

Some things might be better done by Professionals.

I took it to a rewire and after clean with carb cleaner, it was still stuck half open

Thank you so much, I just got an IACV after so many days of looking for one, and its stuck partially open. The former one I had was fully open, but car would still go off when the AC is on and the car has reached normal temperature, I also noticed corrosion the place coolant flows through on the former one.
