@dansak, so far you are still breast feeding and adding formula to his cereal, that should be enough.
My children have never accepted formula as a drink. All I do is bfeed and add formula to d cereals.

Same with my son.... He nvr accepts his formulae as a drink.... But takes it well with his cereal

Meanwhile, today was our 4 months immunization. I am so so thankful to God that my babies are super healthy and adding weight well.

As we are talking about cream things, let me ask. I have been using only chicco massage oil on my babies body (excluding the face) and sometimes coconut oil when I make, but I noticed my baby's face is lighter than their body despite the fact I don't rub cream on face. Is it normal? ??

My LO has rashes when he was three weeks old though he has been using coconut oil since birth. I took him to a paed she prescribed skineal and vitamin c and stop usage after five days. Thruth be told I didn't use the skineal. so I stopped el rubbing anything on his skin. after some days all the rashes cleared off. Fast forward to the day before yesterday I started using the coconut oil back and the rashes has started appearing again. Any home remedy for that?

secondly he has blocked nose and he couldn't suck properly. He would suck for seconds and pull his mouth away. Is the vitamin c OK for him PR istl there any home remedy for that?

I think ur baby skin reacts to d coconut oil hence d heat rash, I think u should stop using it.... Or maybe d coconut oil isn't original...
Keep taking vitamin c for d blocked nose.... Or u can do steam inhalation, it works too... Pele, it's jst for days, baby will b ok

My solution feed her 90-120 Mls of formula every 2 hours as she's exclusively formula fed right?

Burp her well during and after each feed.

Do tummy time by placing her on her tummy but keep an eye always.

Bicycle her legs with her laying on her back.

Massage with warm water.

It's d sweat dts causing d heat rash I think.... Or maybe d lotion sef. I don't know bout mixing coconut oil with d Johnson lotion oh.. Coconut oil is so easy to make

Blend coconut, extract d coconut milk, pour into an air tight container, allow to sit for 24hhrz, u can refrigerate it to hasten d process... U will notice dt d water separates and d milk solidify on top, scoop out d solidified milk and place on saucepan on low heat...stir gradually as it dries, D oil will float ontop....
I hope u understand, u can Google tho, u wee see diff methods and understand better

That is how my mum made me keep aside all my "oyinbo" cream and i started using Palm Kernel oil mixed with shea butter for my boy.
I get compliments everywhere i go on how smooth and frosh his skin looks.

My mum never lets me rest with "i told you so".

I heard palm kernel too is good on their skin.... Enjoy d compliment dear

Well I dint give bread at six months, I did frm seven but very thin piece of soft slice bread... Evn til now I stl cut bread into pieces for me, cos I read on ask d paediatricians group on fbk dt agege bread can cause choking in babies...

Ever since den I'm careful wen I give him bread cos my son wee jst put everything in his mouth

That was how my friends advised me to melt ori and mix with funbact A and dettol for my baby to use as body cream from 2 weeks old another said I should dilute salon with water and be using it to rub his body just because they want baby's skin to be fair and smooth. I just told them OK.

Me that I am team Vaseline or ori, anyone that is available between the two and up till now, no single trace of rashes on him.

God help us with end time advice all because dem born before person.

Even though na to sleep using my nipple as pacifier hehehe I lactate well enough, cos I squeeze after she don sleep and frown when I see say milk dey sip out. Yet she no got suck often I stick back in her mouth and she go vex open mouth dey howl say shey na by force ni this woman? Hehehe
I'm a religious burper. I burp even during feeds. I try give her more of d hindmilk than d fore.

As per d checkup, going on Saturday. They messed up my vaccination date suppose be today but they said to comw satueday tho. Qeighed 2.6 at birth, 3.2 at two weeks. Not checked after that.

My baby nvr had colic... I nvr used grape water. In fact I had no drug except pcm and na cos of immunization things.. Truth is I prayed against colic everyday whilst pregnant cos I heard bout d unpleasant experience.. God answers prayer u know... Evn teething, my son brings out teeth wit no issue at all... His 9mnths wit 5 teeth already..
Sumthing myt seem not necessary but wen u commit to God's hand, He takes care of it..

Shea butter aka ori is jst fine my opinion for baby skin... I mix coconut oil prepared by me to d cream and we r good to go.. No skin issues.. Better complexion..

This gas thing is beginning to get to me.
1) She grunts and stretches anything she wants to pass gas, and now she'd fold her legs when she pees. I was told infacol or gripe water but we dey EBF and I'm worried about giving it to her. and someone else said nospamin

2) And she has this wheezing thing she does when she eats or sleeps. I complained but was told nothing in her throat, two days after the attached picture came put of my baby, twice. Thick mucus. And The wheezing I can still hear it but reduced though. I have been giving her vitc once daily, started three days ago.

3),What can I use oo. And one more thing, she doesn't suck that well. I'd even force her to suck after five minutes and she will begin to cry. Five minutes and she's done, will remove her mouth and off to sleep. What can I do? I am lactating enough and I even learnt to express the foremilk out a bit before I breastfeed so that the little she takes is d hindmilk. She sleeps and sleeps and sleeps. Feeds inky like five times in a day, maybe twice at night, even with abidec.

3) when she feeds these days, she poos while or right after feeding and it is green and a lil foamy. She hardly poos now and only when she feeds or just fed.

4) what can i use for diaper rash? Its this red patch on her vulva and butthole. Should i change hee diaper? We used huggies withe a ribbed effect and now we use one without. Someone recommeded Pampers premium.


She is 6 weeks old now.
Please help ooo.

3.maybe jst day 5 mind sucking is jst enough for her..let her sleep Jo, dts all babies do, she is jst 6weeks na, jst try to feed her every 2hrs evn if it's d 5mins thingy she does.. Make sure she takes hind milk and fore milk.Shebi she isn't losing weight,. Den no cause for alarm ma
And pls see a paed concerning her poo

4.sudocream works very well for diaper rash... Use Vaseline or Shea butter for every diaper change

I just 've to come here this morning to rant. My bAby that readily open his mouth at the sight of a spoon full with food has refused to eat except he's forced. Once he sight his food now, he 'll just be crying and screaming that the whole neighbours will just be asking what is happening. Even the dad is tired of this new attitude. He's 6 months 2 weeks old. D cereal he accepts now is nutribom oat, and it is with force before he can finish 100ml. All d home made food he accepts before, he doesn't want them again. He doesn't accept spoon, he doesn't want the teat of avent and Tommie tippe that I bought. He accepts only this excel baby bank bottles. What do I do. Honestly am tired. He doesn't accept his formula too. So much pureed foods in my freezer.

Hapi Sunday ma, yes u should clean ur baby mouth with a clean small towel n water ESP d tongue and if he has teeth already, use a baby tooth brush n milk teeth toothpaste for his age

Jst relax ur mind, he will b fine. My son was given bcg n circumcised same day sef.. We did well...jst give paracetamol after circumcision... Use original Vaseline blue seal on it, shikena.. No wahala.
