Should we do this below? 6 week workout and then we also cut down on bread and rice and carbs (we minimise the amount we eat). I lost weight when I stopped eating 4 slices of bread almost daily. When I was gyming and still eating rice and bread anyhow, no weight left because as I was losing, it ws being replenished. But this time I'm serious.

Happy Sunday sweet mothers. Please i need some help from you mums. My ds just recovered from chickenpox recently, more than two weeks now. D stuff left a lot of annoying spots on him especially his face.
Pls a any idea of any cream that removes stubborn spots. He is 2+.

Not using Maggi will force you to learn how to taste food better. Like, my MiL says my soups taste like crayfish and onions (which she likes). You'll learn how to combine ingredients and understand what it does and be able to adapt recipes from other countries. You will understand how Garlic and Ginger taste and work (like Ginger and White pepper play up the taste of Red pepper and make food more spicy). I make Quaker oats with Pear or Apple,honey, milk, Nutmeg or Cinnamon for Baby E and myself. Most of the spices run from N400 to N700 per cup or pack and Chinese sauces are like N1600 per big bottle and N800 for small bottles of Oyster sauce. Ibadan will have a supermarket to get them, but you'll have to ask an Indian or Chinese person. Or if a mum here can be nice and help you with getting them from Ilupeju or SPAR and sending them to you in Ibadan via road transporters (though I'm a bit worried about some sauces in glass bottle but bubble wrap will secure them).

Look for Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Black Pepper, White Pepper, Garam Masala, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Oyster Sauce, Dark soy Sauce, sweet chili Sauce, fish Sauce, sweet and sour sauce. You can buy cans of Coconut milk or make it yourself (it is hard work, I remember that from childhood). Fresh Parsley and Basil are nice and Igbo ladies sell Basil as Nchanwu in the market. There are shops that sell fresh herbs too (Shoprite does and some places in VI) but you can grow them if you have seeds (plus you're in Ibadan you have space to grow stuff).

Nigerian food can be quite repetitive after a while so this helps.

Any good formula brand u like..,unsweetened yoghurt can also b added to d pap. U can evn add ur breast milk to d pap if u av very good flow.. Frm one year, babies can strt taking full cream milk

Onegai such a touching piece I always tell my mum to stop correcting my son who seems to like using his left hand more than the right! She says it's not good to be left handed *rolling my eyes* any hand he chooses to use is ok by m joor.

Same here I dnt mind, my son prefers doing things wt his left hand... Ain't correcting nothing

After milling. I tried preparing it yestday like normal pap, but it was watery, I tried boilin it, BT it didn't thicken. I had 2 pour it away n bot anoda pap.

I use d dry powdered pap but not made by me... I buy already made.. And wen I prepare for my son, it cums out like normal pap... Place a saucepan wt lil water n allow to boil, mix d powdered pap with water in a bowl, add to d boiling water, reduce heat and kip stirring nd voila ur pap is ready ...

Stadora, pls fry d crayfish before grinding, I use blender for my own sha and store inside mayonnaise jar.

After making ur pap, just add it to the little u want to feed ur baby with per time. But don't make use of it every time so he won't be tired of it especially the smell.

@Stadora u can also substitute grounded dried fish for crayfish, dey both av same nutrients content(dried cat fish or saw a fish)... I even prefer d blended dried fish cos d crayfish can b tiring cos of d smell
