richard870: None of all the current presidential aspirants is fit to be the next president. The current one is a disaster Nigerians are still trying to recover from....
Almost everyone in Nigeria wants to relocate because its way too glaring that the country is a FAILED STATE!
Nigeria is like a big South American prison where the guards walk away and left the prisoners govern themselves. They see everyone like poultry.
The cost of the starter kit for Nigerian customers, with all the necessary equipment is $99 (N66,330 at the average USD black market rate) while the monthly subscription price is yet to be made available. In the US the starter kit is $599 though.
I hope they work on the cost outlay.
Don't be in a hurry to be among the first to get Elon Musk internet kit, the man is a serial scammer.
etrange: Employees will always leave. It's a natural part of the labour market. Your duty is to keep your top skills as long as possible and if one decides to return after leaving for a while, it'll be in your best interest to keep him and use him as long as you can. The fact that he'll leave again shouldn't stop any smart MD from utilizing his skills while he's available because at the end of the day, most people will still leave anyway. As for other employees, if he didn't take them while leaving the first time, you think he'll be in a better position to convince them after they've seen how he failed out there? The truth is, employees stay connected with ex colleagues. So even if he doesn't come back, he could still take them from the outside by sharing his new life with them. So bringing an employee back is a way of telling those on ground that life isn't necessarily better outside the organization, and that could potentially change the mind of those planning to leave.
As I said before, am speaking from experience (I have seen it many times). His current portal skills can be acquired with in 1 to 2 weeks with someone with an average IQ.
If 3 staff resign in a HOTEL at once, the managers must be stressed. One bad tomato/apple can rotten a whole basket of tomatoes/apples
I am speaking for the health of the organization and not welfare of an unsatisfied former employee.
So as a serious person, you want a staff can leave anytime?
PUSSYHOE: Those idiots company looking for experience as if they can pay for it
They are clueless and can't train you, which is why they ask for experience. If they knew what they are doing, they would train you and pay far less because you lack experience.
I really hate those types of ads (frustrating many).
etrange: Hmm... but why would it a mistake to accept him back if he was really skilled at thier jobs? It's only in the 1990's that employees that quit thier jobs were considered as enemies or ungrateful. Today, it's normal for people to move and it's nothing to fight about. If you're good at your job, your employer would even tell you at the point of leaving not to hesitate to come back if you ever need to. All my past employers said that to me. I know a handful of people that returned to their former employers.
If it's a professional position and you were idle after you left the organization, your number of years at that level will start counting from wherever you were before leaving. Even if you were working somewhere else during that period, the total number of years you spent outside the organization will be reduced a bit when considering your new placement. This implies that people that started with you might end up being your senior. It's then up to you to decide if that's a deal breaker or not
From experience, the MD would regret it because he would leave again and this time, he would leave with 2+ other employees. It is condition that brought him back, so within a month of returning, the old resentment would come back.
nifemi25: A degree holder earning 20k as salary . Something is not cleared . Either the poster is lying or he doesn't want to reveal his real income
No be civil service where they are ranking payment based on degree. Private sector is based on the problem you are solving and how much they are willing to pay.
The director would be making a big mistake to accept you back but you can try your luck. Next time, don't let go of something until you have something tangible you have grabbed.
The market has told you for now, your skills level is 20k. Take your 20k job and improve your skills or do a side hustle until you undisputedly have aquire 100k+ naira worth of skills.
ZombieTAMER: Not true, that's not the reason they're biased
I think it is the major the reason. Tribalism can not override the profit of bribery. The only thing that might stop them is self preservation (not wanting to lose their job or life). If you have a brother in politics, a in-law in Military and so on, you can bring some heat on a rogue police over a case of injustice.
Also the south tolerate it. If they say no. They must adjust.
ZombieTAMER: It's only in the South that they show their wicked venom
police brutality doesn't exist in the North
i have been there.
They have to be careful. Someone that looks like a 'pieces of shit', might just be a "black sheep" from the governor or president family and his mum still loves him.
You can find yourself in very serious soup over someone that looks like a junky.
Try print-on-demand websites. Make as much as 10 to 60 designs DAILY using canva.com (usually just catchy 3 words like "just do it").
It's just an experiment but if it works, that is passive income. With the value of Naira against the Dollar, once every 6 months when you withdraw, it would be huge.
chibu4u2: He was sitting on the rail when the officers persuaded him from diving.
Him never ready die. See as him hold the rail self. Baba dey wait maybe somebody or well meaning Nigerians go con reason him matter first, unfortunately, it was RRS.
Give him 6 months. He is not depressed enough (still has hope). Look at how close the camera man is.
Lai Mohammed (ministry of information and culture) type of people. These are the people they want to put on Aso Rock. Mental that have mixed Bible and Qur'an and scatter their brains.
This mental has come again... The worst part is, at the end of the day, they don't see him as real Muslim. He is a Muslim extremist all his life yet his brothers up North would not sincerely acknowledge him as one. Identity crisis.
Davefed: Saying that 90% of northerners are not in social media should disqualified from vying for presidency. Imagine the boldness saying how primitive 90% of northerners are. A region that has being in power for years. A former VP that can't help his people crawl out from backwardness is an abberation to the office of the presidency.
How many southerners have social media? Is it everyone in the south than has Android Phone, can read and buy data?
themanderon: The same social media that you guys used to great effect in unseating Jonathan is the same social media you are trying to denigrate?
Preaching in Mosque and close door meeting removed Jonathan (even PDP chairman was telling the First Lady not to insult the savour Buhari)... Social media was 100% convinced that Buhari was a zombie.
Even the below video was circulating around election. No significant impact.
