That was how they stole my phone that I put on a cashier's desk inside a GTB branch in Ibadan! The CCTV cameras are mostly for show...we saw the thief but his face wasn't captured! Very blurry thing

They will get him.

The CCTV footage has a time stamp and has captured his picture.

All they need to do is cross check the photo with the photos in all accounts in a 1 or 2 hour period during that CCTV timestamp.

So bank can release cctv clip of a thief stealing in the bank, but when a thief steals customers money from the atm , the banks always refuse to release the cctv clip to the customer. Because in this case the thief stole from bank staf

Of what essence is the CCTV. To watch film when the deed must have been done?. CCTV is for instant monitoring and survelance and not for documentary video. Organisations most especially financial institutions should train their staff on the CCTV Usage and security survelance.
