Fellas, what the heck! Why localise football? It is an international game of no particular geographical location. All football parties belong to one family - FOOTBALL FAMILY. I am sure there are more fans around the world that watch premiership than english fans. Why then assess a coach/manager by his development of local talents, and not talents developed generally. Why particular reference to 'the country that pays his bill'? Please who pays the bills here - the players, the coaches, the clubs, the FA, the fans, the sponsors, the media or the Govt? Pls dont be in a haste to answer this question, examine each contribution critically. In my mind, the country benefits more, financially, from any successful coach. Stretching it further, the financial benefit accruing to the host country should be used to fund football developmental projects. Using the number of national team players in a particular club is a very wrong way of assessing the overall contribution of that club to the host country and to the football family. Hey, guys think about it! Can you guys come up with other more concrete assessment terms? I trust you guys. Let's be as realistic as possible. Remember 100% of Nigeria first 11 is based abroad, how do we see it?
