John Boyega is currently leading a congregation of protesters in the heart of London. The star wars actor also delivered a powerful speech while leading the protest and spoke on the importance of family and family values among the black community. The protest is part of a global movement by members of the black community to fight against oppression of black people by racists.
The events followed a series of murder of black men by white police officers in the USA with nothing being done by the authorities to bring the culprits to book. The latest victim was George Floyd who was stomped to death by a white police officer who refused to let him breath despite having him handcuffed and under control. The founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet T.B Joshua has been seen in a viral video engaging in a heated argument with a woman who claimed be biblical figure, Lucifer.

In the video which is currently trending on social media, the man of God could be heard commanding her (Lucifer) to walk up to him, but she resisted, saying she is the master, she bows to nobody and no one commands her.

Prophet T.B Joshua engaged her in a long heated argument while caliing the name of Jesus in between. The woman said she came for revenge because the cleric attacked and detroyed her kingdom.

The video triggered a lot of reaction from social media users who are amazed of the exchange between the powerful man of God and the demon-possessed woman.

For many people, this was just another scripted video to get followers and this is the same thing they believe Prophet Odumeje is guilty of as well.

Many Twitter users pointed out how the self-proclaimed Lucifer was making sure to use her microphone at all times.

Rapper Slimcase has apologized for his insensitive comment regarding #JusticeforTina, a movement started after a Nigerian Police officer shot dead a 16-year-old girl in Lagos.

In a recent post made by Slimcase, he prayed for God to let him “blow” while he is alive, unlike George Floyd who became popular after he was killed by a while Police officer in the US, leading to a #BlackLivesMatter in the country.
The rapper was quick to call the killing of the teenage girl a local issue which can be addressed as such, rather than George Floyd which he referred to as a “global pandemic”.
His comment sparked an outburst from Nigerians which led to the artiste apologizing in a video shared on his social media page. He claims he is just “seeing the news”.

A Nike store in Chicago was looted and damaged by protesters during protest against the murder of George Floyd.
Mr Floyd was an unarmed black man who died after a Minneapolis police officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes as he told them “I can’t breathe”.

Floyd’s death has sparked mass protests across the US, with governors in several states calling in National Guard troops in an attempt to maintain order.

A trail of damage marked the path where protesters marched in downtown Chicago, leaving behind broken windows, graffiti and the damaged remains of some of the city’s most popular shops.
In a video that is going viral on social media, a mob can be seen destroying a Nike showroom in Chicago and looting the merchandise present inside the store. Vandalising and looting of stores and offices have been going for days now.

An unidentified lady got more than she bargained for after was allegedly caught stealing from a shop she stole from the previous day.

A child was spotted chanting "black lives matter" from the sunroof of a car during protests in Los Angeles yesterday (May 27).

Protesters took to the streets in response to the death of Geroge Floyd in Minneapolis on Monday (May 25).

Floyd died in police custody after he was filmed being arrested with excessive use of force, where he was heard screaming "I can't breathe!"

Controversial Nigerian cross-dresser Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, has been reportedly been arrested in Lekki.

According to multiple online reports, Bobrisky was picked up by officers of the Nigerian police and is presently being detained at Ajah area command, Lagos state.

According to source, the cross dresser was seen in his white Range Rover along with some police officers. The Instagram blogger posted the video and captioned it

“Bobrisky has been arrested again!!! Spotted at Lekki phase 1 in his range Rover accompanied by some police men. We are yet to know the reason behind his arrest but she has been detained at Ajah area command, Lagos State”.
Although the reason behind the arrest of the still remains largely unknown, Bobrisky has been inactive on social media for some time now, and the cross dressers last post shared was about 14 hours ago.

This will not be the first time that Bobrisky has been arrested by the police. On January 23, 2020, Bobrisky was picked up at his residence inside Bera Estate, Chevron Drive, in Lekki and taken to an unknown destination.

Viral video of a man carrying his sick wife to the hospital due to the total lockdown in Rivers State. 

A Good Samaritan who saw the husband carrying his sick wife as he trekked the long distance to the hospital was moved to help transport the couple to the hospital.

Due to the lockdown, there were no cars/buses on the road and the husband had no choice but to carry his weak wife while trekking.

The Good Samaritan said the outcome might have been fatal if she had not come along to help them get to the hospital.

An EFCC staff in Makurdi, Benue state, has been accused of abusing her officer for arresting the owner of Star Shawarma and other staff over a misunderstanding.
 
It was gathered that the EFCC staff, whose name was given as Hembafan Toryila, made a purchase worth 1,500 Naira at Star Shawarma and transferred 1,600 Naira to the business' account.
 
However, the business owners didn't notice the alert on time and they kept contacting her about making payment.

When they finally noticed the payment she made, they called to apologize. But she wouldn't forgive easily and allegedly vowed to deal with them.
 
On Wednesday, May 6, she allegedly mobilized uniformed men to go to the eatery and arrest the owner and staff. Following their arrest, the staff were reportedly detained at EFCC office in Makurdi.
 
A video of the arrest has been shared online. Also, a photo of the charge sheet has been shared. It shows that the owner of the eatery has been charged with "attempted fraud."
 
Facebook and Twiter users have criticized this move and asked why the EFCC is involved in such a frivolous issue.

A 79-year-old disabled woman who was allegedly buried alive by her son has miraculously survived after being trapped in the pit for nearly three days, authorities have said.

Police in north-western China's Shaanxi province rescued the paralyzed mother, known as Wang Mou, on Tuesday, May 5, after the woman's daughter-in-law reported her missing.

The 58-year-old son, known as Ma Mou, has been detained and faces an attempted murder charge, according to the police. An investigation on the incident is underway.

Police in Jingbian County revealed that at 9am on Tuesday morning, the suspect's partner Zhang Mou went to the Xinzhuang Police Station to report her husband had taken her mother-in-law out on a trolley around 8pm on May 2, but she had not returned.

She said he had told the family he had sent the pensioner, who cannot walk by herself, to visit relatives; but his wife became suspicious.

After bringing Ma in for questioning, investigators said he admitted dumping the elderly woman at an abandoned tomb in a forest south of Jingbian County.

After confirming the location, police immediately excavated the grave site, and halfway through they heard a faint cry for help. They surprisingly found the paralyzed mother still alive after nearly three days without food or water.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo is of the opinion that the decision to ease the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja despite the spike in confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in these states and in other parts of the country, is a bad one.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, the actress said President Buhari must have taken the decison to ease the lockdown due to false reports about the current situation of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country. She asked whoever is ''lying'' to the president to come out with the truth.
