I believe the reason there's political and economic instability the Nigeria can be traced back to pre colonial Nigeria. The Europeans (British) successfully hoodwinked the then provinces to amalgamation. Fully aware of the ethnic diversity. Nations are found based on shared ideals (1 voice or better put , Language). BUT , the they came basically to fulfill a business venture. What would have happened if the founding fathers advocated confederations. |
