Israel will be desperate to have Trump in power in order to guarantee support for at least four years. They will be ready to do anything to achieve that. If Biden restricts military aid to Israel and wins the election. Israel will have no other option than to stop the war.

Israel is good at these things. And countries at war do desperate things. e.g. Ukraine (Another conspiracy for another day). Israel could have orchestrated this to boost Trump's chances. The details of how it might have been planned IDK. It's just my theory. A reasonable one.

Secret service protection is divided into Close protection (the guys on suits) and Counter Assault (The guys on tactical black wear with police inscription). It is was not the job of CPT to take out that attacker. Perimeter scanning and protection is CAT work and they failed to do it.

Also note that CPT work is not pretty. This isn't an action movie. It usually looks a bit disorganized but the job is clear, take the principal to safety, the CP did just that, as much Trump was also being Trump.
