iCAN induction may 2021. registration is strictly online. so wats the faith of those who dont have experience (36 and 48 months)and have qualified, does it mean they wont partake in the induction.

Of course, you have to have the requisite experience on the job to be inducted. Just like every other professional organisation/body, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ACFE, IIA, ISACA, just to mention a few. The experience requirement is a MUST to be admitted into membership. Well, those that don't have the experience should be patient, when they meet the experience requirement, they can apply for membership.

I will be inducted as well this may 2021, applied for membership already, pls am coming in from Kano...any cheap hotels close to that ICAN Induction/event Center I can check in? Pls assist with details if you have one.

what are we to expect for the test? i did shl tests some 4-5 years ago when allison abraka of the then GTbank plc HR, use to conduct tests for the bank. what are we to expect? is numerical and verbal reasoning as usual, the verbal reasoning 1st, for 45 mins, then the numerical for same 45 min, the question is? anyone with materials to practice or read? cos that online practice they're showing me is not assuring ooooo, share your opinion guys, This is my dream job to be frank.....

Oga, abeg go and do ur test......no pasting of questions dis tym around....its strictly functional base datz most part of it.....just some little numerical which are not that hard but lack of calculator can deter your timing......

The flaw is just that you cant go back to previous questions once u click nxt......

Yes, I went in an hour before my time maybe cos not much crowd in abuja here.....

With what am seeing, I guess alot of peeps have been eliminated with the first test

The test is in batches don't forget, though really we were not much in abuja....

All objective questns (a-e), no true, false or cannot say, they are all objective questions, for my verbal and numerical (don't know if they're in types based on different candidates), no graphs, just straight forward questns. Is that ok?

The first 30 questns are functional (area of specializatn, for e.g. Mine is AC...) so the 1st 30 questns were pure up to date IFRS accounting stuffs, the next 10 were verbal, and the last 10 numerical....50 mins for all of that. The test was fair sha..though lack of calculator took much of my time, I still had 2mins 7 seconds left when I submitted.

My advice for those writing later: be calm and fast, time is not on ur side and don't forget accuracy. Success and favor fellas. Cheers and on my way back to my aboki land...kano.
