You have to call and pay if need be and also give them the address and ur reference number

Did you have to call your school in the UK for them to send the transcripts and did you have to pay?
We are using WES but I just want to get the general idea especially for those with UK qualifications. .
We've sent the certificates but haven't contacted the schools as I was assuming they'll send an email to the school.

Finally got my wes evaluation and created my profile.

Ok thanks a bunch! I am still waiting for WES o. Hoping they r done this week.

You can evaluate ur Msc alone and u should consider using IQAS, WES is a time wasting org.

I am more of a silent reader here and I am just about starting this Canada EE thing. I am about making payment to WES for evaluation, but I am confused about something please. I am trying to enter the pool as fast as I can, but the problem is that I have my BSc qualification from OOU and my MSc from a UK university. Due to what I experienced when I was trying to have my transcripts sent for my MSc some years back, I don't ever want to request for it anymore, except there is no way out. Should I just get my MSc assessed and leave my BSc out, or do I have to assess both?
I have checked many online forums and there are conflicting opinions. I would like to have your opinion on this pls. Thanks in advance.

That's what I eventually did o, told them to evaluate just masters and it's been evaluation in progress for two weeks now.

My suggestion! Contact them and ask them to evaluate just your masters if evaluating both might be cause for the delay. I actually did that for my spouse though evaluation was done when dem never dey do this much shakara. Also,try to contact them via Twitter. Relying on e- mail no be am at all oo

I paid since February too, it's sooo annoying and their customer service is ridiculous

I paid Feb 17th! I would have selected IQAS if i knew WES would be THIS slow and expensive! I've had to pay for several courier costs, even the photocopies WES sends to the school to verify, and the school verifying the same back to WES!
My score 457 had better make ITA after all this unnecessary verification is done.

I used WES. It took them about two weeks after receiving the transcript confirmation from my institution.

Hello, please how long did it take for your profile to change from evaluation in progress to complete.

Yes they do accept. For one of my degrees, the certificate isn't ready so they evaluated using transcript and statement of result. My evaluation was completed last week.

If you are lucky to get PPR before the expiry date of your passport, they won't issue visa on the passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months for theme to put the visa.

If your application exceeds 6 months and your passport expires before PPR, you will be given 7 days to submit a new passport. I know this cos we were in the same situation. My husby's passport expired during the processing of our application. We had to submit a new one within 7 days.

My advice is this: apply for a new passport immediately. If you don't get it before submission, use the old one. Once you get the new passport, send the scanned copy of the new one via CSE.

With regard to large deposit from spouse, the spouse will just write a simple LOE that he/she transfered the said amount to support the family's plan to immigrate to Canada. I can send you a draft of what my husby wrote.

Quick questions all,

(1) I just created a profile on WES, since I am evaluating only my Msc certificate, should I only fill this in the space for "credential to be evaluated" on the site? Cos I saw an option for another credential

(2) for the required document by WES, I saw the " academic records request form"...should I download this form and give it to my school to send along with the transcript?

(3) How should I send photocopy of Msc certificate to WES.. Through courier service or just scan it to them..

(4) summary of the cost for the evaluation shows $322.05, is this alright or should I choose the standard paper report delivery option which cost just $7...i am trying to reduce cost

@Faky201, have you been able to figure out which NOC to use? Having this issue also.

I haven't but I think it's possible to use 4112 still and just ensure the reference letter confirms with corporate law functions at a firm. I know someone that used 1242 but I don't really think that works.

i am a lawyer with three years experience.
i have a masters and was wondering if it is ok to have only my masters degree evaluated.
i had my LLB and masters transcript sent and i think the LLB is slowing things down and i am thinking of asking WES to forget the evaluation of my LLB and just evaluate the masters.
