The Police in Kano took the state deputy Governor, Nasiru Gawuna and the State Commissioner for Local Government, Alhaji Sule Garo into custody over alleged threat to public peace.

The two were arrested for alleged disruption of the Collation of results of the Governorship Elections at the Nasarawa Local Government area Collation Centre.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu celebrates His victory As Next Lagos Governor!

This was the moment APC’s Babajide Sanwo-Olu was declared winner of the Lagos governorship election.

Sanwo-Olu won with a total of 739,445 votes to defeat Olujimi Agbaje of the PDP, who polled 206,141 votes.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife, Joke Sanwo-Olu were at the MFM church in Lagos to thank God for his victory.

"With a loud voice, lifted hands and inspired dance steps, my wife and I praised God at the MFM Lekki Church today. God deserves all the praise and worship, we have so much to be thankful for." The next Lagos Governor said.

Meanwhile, the Lagos PDP governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje had earlier called Sanwo-Olu even before the final result was announced.

Ex Super Falcons star player, Chichi Igbo was shocked at what happened at the market in Abuja.

So my sis was pricing yam and immediately I walked to her, this lady she was negotiating price with just breezed off, screaming “blood of Jesus, Holy Ghost fire”!
