I would have agreed with you if not that Lagos hosts the world's largest single train oil refinery.
I pity you if you believe that's all a Country needs to be truly considered industrialized
Health › Re: The World Drug Problem: Persisting Issues, New Challenges, Innovative Responses by Fansa25: 6:36pm On Jun 26
ATEAMS:
very informative..
thanks for this
There is a serious drug problem in Nigeria especially with the youths. It is no longer an epidemic but now a pandemic that requires urgent solution. It has gotten to a point where drugs are now sold in secondary and primary schools to students. I weep for our future if drastic steps are not taken against those wicked dealers that are destroying the future of our young ones both individually and collectively as a people and nation. The major problem is that most of us turn a blind eye to these dealers in our environment believing that they can continue destroying their life forgetting that we have kids in within the community. If you see something do something.

And yet, we never sees 'Made in those countries' industrial products in largest Africa market Nigeria. I don't trust this rating at all

Nigeria is a big country with most populated in Africa, industry in Lagos, PH and Warri alone may surpass majority of countries listed above. Dangote and Bua groups are more than 10 industries in some countries.
My brother you don't know nothing. You are industrially comparing Lagos and warri with a City like oran in Algeria or tunis in tunisia (that mainly consume items made locally)? Mind you , I have been to some of these countries. Your Lagos is a glorified slum. Dem say pikin wey never comot house before go say na him papa farm na big pass.

Very True. I dont like making an Olodo feel bad. So I call him or her sweet names like smart intelligent expert ...etc

80% of the blame should be directed to Parents not leaders. If you are not in the education sector you wont understand so don't just bother quoting me. angry
The major problem is multi faceted. Both the school, the home and the government are responsible. Most parents no longer pay proper attention to their wards education. When I say education, I don't just mean writing an exam and being promoted to the next class, I actually mean getting the true essence of education which is knowledge. Even in situations where a school decides to make a child repeat a particular class, you see parents moving that child from that school to another school. I have even seen a situation where a child that was moved to another school and was refused because he failed a particular subject. This boy's mother went back to the old school and demanded that the boy's old result be changed. Guess what, the school school changed the result after collecting some money from the boy's parent.
I can confidently tell you that more than 90% of Nigerian schools including government schools are miracle centers especially when writing external exams and most times the fee for the malpractices is paid by their parents. These practices affects the psyche of the average child. Our higher institutions are not left out of this menace. In the university today, you see students that can't even spell their school's name properly coming out with an average GP that is above 4.0. How is it possible? The level of malpractices in most universities in Nigeria is no longer done is secret. It is now seen as a norm. That's why the vast majority of graduates every year from our universities today are individuals who do not deserve their degree. What makes is more annoying is that some of these educated olodos already have juicy appointments waiting for them both in public and private sectors at the expense of those who truly took their time to study hard to get their degree.
There is a high level of unemployment and poverty among Nigerian graduates and this has resulted in a situation where people now regard education as a scam in Nigeria.

nothing like dowry means this and that in Nigerian english, all english grammar dey largely same. na only spellings and pronunciation dey differ
una go just form and defend rubbish
Language like other social constructs is a highly relative concept. It all depending on it's acceptability in a group. If a vast majority of the people in a group accepts and understand the context of a word it automatically becomes a word in that group regardless of it's true meaning in the proper language. I will only have have a problem if the people having such arguments are insisting dowry means bride price in the proper English.

Hope you know we have what we call Nigerian English which is quite different from the standard English. What dowry means in Nigerian English is quite different from what it means in standard English.

How many years did you stay in Gambia to qualify for PR, and how did you get it?

I'm curious.
I got it within four months. You can even get it in less than 7 weeks if you can shake hands with the right people. I got it through the back way if you understand what I mean.

How can half of south Africans be Nigerians?

Besides I didn't see Nigeria deported in the completed list.

Na was oooo
She meant Nigerians with South African passport. Currently I have a gambian passport which I normally use whenever I travel because it attracts less attention and relieves me from immigration stress.

Are the politicians the ones chasing people out of their shops
Funny enough these same idiots demanding for support from other Africans have never for ones called their violent mob harassing innocent and legal immigrants to order. A man who says nothing in the face of evil is as guilty as those who directly perpetuate such evil. Most South African celebrities are keeping mute because they are fully in support of their violent mobs.

Oyo Principal, Teacher Deliver Heartbreaking Message From Captivity in New Terrorists’ Video

"Both we the school teachers and children are under the sun and rain for the past few weeks"
The t€rror!sts kidn@pers have released a new video of the abdûcted principal, Mrs Alamu begging for help from The Governor, NUT and The President, as she also revealed that the terror!sts are already getting impatient.
Are the Nigerian govt telling us they can't do nothing about this? As it stands, there is no security in the whole of naija.
Crime › Re: Nigerian Man Killed In South Africa (Video, Picture) by Fansa25: 7:21pm On May 29
SPOPOVICH:
EKURHULENI, SOUTH AFRICA: The boy in this picture is Okechukwu Nnamani, alias Okey One Pipe or One Pipe. He is a notorious NBM (Aye) cultist whose violent activities have made many members of his own group reject and distance themselves from him. For years now, his name has been linked to fear, bl00dshed, and endless wars in Ekurhuleni, South Africa, bringing more heat and destruction upon Nigerians living abroad.

One Pipe has been repeatedly connected to several violent incidents in South Africa. Yesterday, a cultist was sh0t in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng Province, east of Johannesburg, and once again, Okey One Pipe’s name was mentioned alongside another Aye (we will not mention the victim’s group to avoid escalation as we are focusing this report on Okey One Pipe). A few days before yesterday’s k**ling, his name was also mentioned in the k**ling of a non-cultist named Ovoko, whom he accused of being a spy for Vikings. Last year, his name was mentioned in the k**ling of a DNKI (Vikings) member known as Papa Ogechi.

Okey One Pipe has also reportedly been extorting Nigerians in South Africa, with reports that refusing to pay him could put one’s life at risk. The Nigerian Union Taskforce reportedly invited him, but he refused to appear. Many NBM members are angry with him and are exposing him for trying to cause problems for them, including NBM members who once defended him in the past. This is not the first time Naija Confra has mentioned Okey One Pipe.

To Okey One Pipe: Egede, look at your picture now that you are alive and change your ways. If not, the next picture of you may be your de@d body posted on Telegram, just like other cultists who refused to listen. Reject Cultism.

https://x.com/naijaconfra/status/2058591540788826333

Naija Confra has now obtained the video of the cultist named Ugochukwu, who was k**led by NBM (Aye) cultists yesterday in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng Province, east of Johannesburg, South Africa. We will not mention his cult group for now. We will sit back and watch how the situation plays out before proceeding further. (Clear video on TG).

However, NBM cultists in the area should watch their backs, as some of their reckless cultists have started violence that may end up claiming the lives of innocent NBM members. After a careful investigation into this case, and after reviewing evidence presented by both NBM members and the rival cult group, two NBM cultists have been mentioned in the attack - Okechukwu Nnamani, alias Okey One Pipe, and another NBM cultist named Hilux.

We urge the rival cult group involved to use the CCTV footage from the location and pursue the matter legally with the South African authorities to avoid further bloodshed. These are the Nigerians and of Africa (NBM) cultists who are terr0rizing South Africa, damaging the name of Nigeria, and causing innocent and peaceful Nigerians living in South Africa to suffer the consequences of their £vil actions. Reject Cultism.

You dey see these mumu men? These are one of the reasons why the xenophobic South Africans are chasing them from their country.
