Divisional Police
Officer, DPO, of
Pen Cinema Police
Station, Mr Segun
Fabunmi, over the
killing of a
protester and
injuring of three
others during
January fuel
subsidy protest in
Lagos.

The deceased, 27-
year old Demola
Abiodun, was
allegedly shot
dead by the
dismissed DPO
Fabunmi during
the last subsidy
protest in Yaya
Abatan, Ogba area
of Lagos State.
Governor
Babatunde
Fashola had
ordered the
Attorney-General
and Commissioner
for Justice, Mr Ade
Ipaye, to take over
the case and
ensure that justice
was done, as he
vowed that the
matter would not
be swept under
the carpet.

The Office of the
Public Defender,
OPD, an agency
under the state
Ministry of Justice
is handling the
case.
Director, OPD, Mrs.
Omotola Rotimi,
who addressed
newsmen,
yesterday, said the
state government
was suing the
police and the
former DPO for
N200 million for
the killing of
Abiodun and N100
million each for
three others, who
were wounded by
police bullets
during the protest.
According to her,
the OPD would
soon sue the
police command
and the killer DPO
over the matter,
adding that what
was delaying the
action was the
unavailability of
the autopsy
report.
She said the
autopsy report
was ready and
that the office
was waiting for
the Vice
Chancellor, Lagos
State University,
LASU, Prof. John
Obafunwa, a
pathologist, to
make the autopsy
available to her
office.
She said: “Once
the autopsy is
ready, we will
head to court. We
are ready. The
DPO, who killed
Abiodun is still in
prison.

Solar is not fully used in Nigeria because we have many quacks in the system. Also, in the whole of Nigeria, only five companies produce solar panels. The others just import them and thereby making this solar electricity to be very expensive for Nigerians.
However, i have good news for all who care.
Among these five companies that produce these solar panels, i found one that also teach Nigerians how to install solar electricity and how to produce solar panels. According to them, the remaining four companies are not happy with them for making such an offer to Nigerians. This is because, if other companies/individuals get to know the secrete, business would be bad.
This got me annoyed, so i decided to give out the name of the company so that all can learn this panel production seeing that these other four companies don't want us to grow in technology.

But i feel this spambot/moderators are being partial. For instance, their are some posts on Nl that appears almost on every section on this forum, and some other post appears almost on every thread in a particular section. Eg, you must have seen post like: "Become a land-lord with just N50,000" this post appears on every section on Nl yet the poster is not geting any ban {though i'm not complaining}. Also on the education section, you find people like "DR. Donald" posting his scam in all thread. Now, are these people ominipotent or what?
I want to know why their posts are allowed everywhere.

But just like nairaland, every good forum should have the aim of bringing people together for the purpose of sharing information and perhaps creating of awareness. But it is very sad to find that the ruthless activities of some unscrupulous folks on-here, has gone a long way to dent the image of the few available good ones here.
It is also most disappointing to find that some of our Mods here are walking in confusion as a result of much work load these scammers are putting on them.
Today, most of the obedient once here easily get ban while the disobedient ones inflict maladies and still go scourtfree. This is an unconfortable irony.
i am saying all these because of the series of bans which i and other fellow nairalanders have gotten in recent times which was un-called-for. And as this bans keep coming, people are forced to start behaving like scammers even when they are not.
I am saying this because of the series of experiences which i have had in recent times. And the thought to pour out my grieviances came this morning when my current username "winnerslfc" was banned for no just cause. This forced me to use my friend's ID in expressing myself. [center]WHY WERE YOU BANNED[/center]
Some months back, i was on the business section, so, i came across a topic "Importing From China" where people were asking for information. So i decided to give them a free info since it was something i do and i am well experienced in that. Because i have no time, i dropped my email and asked them to contact me. So, they began troubling me with emails. For this reason, i decided to create time for that particular thread which i did.
Yesterday, i grabbed my phone since my PC was down, and began to post the information on that thread so that all can see and stop troubling me with mails.
Now, my phone couldn't contain all the characters at once, so i decided to break my posts. To my greatest surprise, the next thing i got was:
Sorry "winnerslfc!" you have lost your forum posting privileges. Reason, spam-like post Innocent? Send your nairaland name to "antispam@nairaland.com. When unbanned, wait untill post reappears. DON'T POST again we are sorry.
i counted this as an insult since i have also seen many turtorials here. So i can't really see what was wrong with this https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-342306.160.html because when unbanned, i am scared of posting again and getting another undeserved ban.
The MODS should atleast give warnings to individuals when they go astray before unleashing careless bans
