SPIRITUAL MEANING, SYMBOLISM AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE NUMBER 12 (TWELVE)

“And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”(Revelation 21:14).

The number 12 has had a significant meaning for many centuries in various cultures throughout the world. Many stories that have been passed down to us to help us understand exactly why this number is still so important to us all to this day. There must be a reason why we use this number to represent so many different things and I hope to explain to you in simple terms why this divine number is used so often in just about everything we do.

What is important to understand about this number is that throughout the ages, it has represented many "different" deities or things that our ancestors had communicated to us for a specific reason that I will attempt to explain below. It is the most reoccurring common number used in the Bible and also used in our society today to represent everything that is either whole or complete.

Why do we use this number 12 to represent so much of our lives?

The number twelve has a special meaning in nature which is representative in math and math can help you decipher the secret mysteries of nature. You will see the fact that there is only one true square number, (144) 12 x 12 = 144, which we know as Pure Math Harmony Vertically and Horizontally. This can be easily seen in music, but this also affects our DNA and how we react to these "vibrations."  What is very important in the "magic" of this divine number is that at 12"symbolic of the creation of the universe"as it represents the division or fractionating of unity into twelve individual distinct sound vibrations or tones.

Hence, this is a magical or a divine number that affects us humans in many more ways than one for it is the perfect numeral to represent how vibrations affect our DNA and souls. Whether it be through the magic of music or using it for Templar purposes in the prophecies of the Apocalypse to signify the "end or a whole."

The key into understanding why this number is divine is that it is"symbolic of the creation of the universe"as in the Twelve Apostles via Jesus Christ of the Apocalypse which in this 6th age, signify the "end or a whole." As is well said byS. Augustine(de Doctrina Christiana), "The number Twelve multiplied into Twelve makes One Hundred and FortyFour, the number in the Apocalypse, which designates the traiversal Society of the Saints:"and so Aug. fhere, "centum quadraginta quatuor Milliaomnisomninb Ecclfsia eit."

The Division of the Twelve Holy Apostles occurred when the Apostles before leaving Jerusalem to bring the Gospel to all nations determined by lot the portions of the world that each would evangelize.

The Apostles are what I like to call the legal representatives via the Universal Church under the New Testament as the twelve Zodiacal signs, with its head, or thirteenth, which, beginning with the Sun for they have dominion over the whole earth. Hence, this why the number is so important in our world today and we can thank the Apostles of the New Testament for making sure this was possible. Much of what we see today is the result of the magic created by our ancestors to make sure this divine connection to a divine number was never lost.
We can see this theme repeated throughout the ancient history like no other number:

The oldest story that I could find is that of the tale of the twelve native princes (the Dodecarchy of Herodotus and Diodorus) where Psammeticus defeated his eleven co-regents at Momemphis. The number, 12, is derived from the twelve courts of columns in the Labyrinth, which, according to Herodotus and Diodorus, was built by the twelve princes, whereas this gigantic building had already been standing 1500 years .

*12 hours of the night assigned to Osiris as his companions and assessors, and personifying gods at whose head was Horus the rising Sun:

And in Luke: "Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (xxii. 28—30)

In the book, "Ideal metrology in nature, art, religion and history" By Herman Gaylord WoodIt, the author states,

'the breastplate was a linen fabric 1 span square, bearing 12 jewels which were arranged in rows across its face. It represented the supreme authority of God in the civil and religious government of the Hebrew people. It was to be used in religious ceremonies, and when important matters came before the High Priest for judgment. The manner of using it is uncertain, but probably it served to arrest the attention of the High Priest, assist him in fixing his mind wholly upon the subject before him and enable him under Divine inspiration to render just judgment. Thus in the presence of God he carried all Israel on his heart, the names of the 12 tribes being engraved upon the jewels. The solemnity of this use of the breastplate was called seeking judgment by Urim and Thummim.'

In the "A Dictionary of Christ and the Gospels: Labour-Zion" By John Chisholm Lambert, he states,

'In several passages a period of 12 years is referred to the woman healed by touching the fringe of the Lord's garment had been ill for 12 years (Mt 980, Mk 5, Lk 8«).

'The daughter of Jairus was 12 years old (Mk 5", Lk 6a).

'Jesus was 12 years old when found in the Temple (Lk 2".

In all these cases the number must be understood literally, but the second and third admit of illustration from Oriental life. At 12 childhood ceased for the Jewish boy. In the addendum to the fifth chapter of 'Abdth two of the rules run: 'At 10 the Misnnah, at 13 the Commandments.'

A boy of 12, therefore, was on the threshold of manhood. A tradition recorded by Josephus affirms that Samuel was 12 years old when he received the Divine call {Ant. v. x. 4).

Another tradition, found in a Christian writing, but probably of Jewish origin, represented Solomon as 12 years old when he gave his [famous judgment about the child (pseudoIgnatius, ad Magnesias, iii.).

At 12 a girl was marriageable. According to the Book of Jubilees (302), Dinah was 12 years old at the time referred to in Gn 34s.

One more passage remains: 'Are there not twelve hours in the day?' (Jn ll9). Here, no doubt, Babylonian influence can be traced, although in the time of Christ most of the Jews living in Palestine will have been wholly unconscious of the fact. The full day was divided by the Babylonians, who in this matter as in so many points set the rule for all their neighbours, and through the Greeksfor the whole Western world, into 12 parts. As this day consisted of two halves, the daylight portion and the night portion, the division into twelve was applied to each, without regard to the season of the year. An hour was one-twelfth of the day or the night (KAT [ZW~\ 328, 335 f.).The old way of speaking still survives in Syria. The day is regarded, as in the time of Christ, as consisting of 12 hours (Bauer, Vollcslcben im Landc dcr Bibel, pp. 274 f.).

Did the Tribes come, detachment by detachment, over the sea or across the continent of Europe—the number Twelve is found in the Druidic monuments of the Kymry; Twelve was the number of the judges whom Odin appointed to assist him in governing the advancing multitudes of the Scandinavian ancestors of the English (see Du Chaillu's Viking Age, I. 48); Twelve equal chieftains ruled the continental territory of the Anglo-Saxons before they crossed into these Western Isles (Sharon Turner, History of the Anglo-Saxons, I. 124); and Twelve is the number of the British jury.

In his most famous book, 'Secret Teachings of all Ages' ,Manly P Hall says this in regards to the number twelve;

"The number twelve frequently occurs among ancient peoples, who in nearly every case had a pantheon consisting of twelve demigods and goddesses presided over by The Invincible One, who was Himself subject to the Incomprehensible All-Father. This use of the number twelve is especially noted in the Jewish and Christian writings. The twelve prophets, the twelve patriarchs, the twelve tribes, and the twelve Apostles--each group has a certain occult significance, for each refers to the Divine Duodecimo, or Twelvefold Deity, whose emanations are manifested in the tangible created Universe through twelve individualized channels."

"There are in Freemasonry twelve original points, which form the basis of the system, and comprehend the whole ceremony of initiation. Some days ago AIT aired a documentary that was sponsored by the PDP with an intent to smear and tarnish the name of an upright and honest man.

The documentary told many lies about Buhari that many educated Nigerians wondered what had happened to the minds that control the management of AIT.

After AIT had fed the minds of its viewers with a litany of sponsored concocted lies, AIT then sought to prove to its sponsors - the PDP, how they had done a good job "brainwashing" their most esteemed viewers!

AIT decided to conduct an "online election" via their website.

AIT did their best to inform all their viewers to come and cast their votes on their website and their most esteemed viewers obliged and voted.

At the end of the day, AIT could not believe their eyes! They were not just disappointed but SHOCKED beyond redemption.

Buhari won by 75%.
Goodluck had less than 25% of votes cast and, the other candidates couldn't even get up to 2%.

PDP (AIT sponsors) who had coughed out about N100 million were infuriated. The PDP has since expressed their disappointment with AIT over a "failed job."

What happened next was that AIT shut down the website to prevent an obvious furthering of an embarrassment!

Why?

For the fact that all the accusations leveled against Buhari have amounted to nothing, it is a testimony to the innocence of Muhammadu Buhari.

It is a testimony of the good intentions of Buhari and also an evidence that God Almighty is behind Buhari.

An innocent man fears no accusation.

Since AIT decided to abandon its professionalism because of money and sell lies to the people, they have sown a very bad seed that will germinate and bring a harvest of tribulation and strife upon them in the no distant future!

The Democratic Coup de Tat Against the Jonathan Govt.

Its no longer news that two of the PDP's strongest men in persons of Retrd. Generals Olusegun Obasanjo and Badamasi Babangida (both former head of states) have given their unflinching support to the presidential flag bearer of the opposition party; the APC.

Obasanjo who recently won the "Leadership Personality Of the Year" award recently said, "Goodluck will never win the Febuary 14 election. Obasanjo, a bonafide member of the PDP has been campaigning openly for Muhammadu Buhari.

Babangida said that Buhari had indeed proved that "old soldiers never die" and that Buhari had his 100% support. Babangida said that he was going to mobilize all serving and retired military goons to ensure a Buhari victory come next month.

Its worthy to note that Babangida and Obasanjo have pledged their all to see that Jonathan vacates Aso Rock May 29.

Many Nigerians are amazed and surprised at how PDP strong men are backing Buhari for president.

Recently PDP lost 5 governors to the APC meaning PDP now has 18 governors and APC has 18 too.

PDP has been loosing members on a daily basis to the rival party; the APC to such an extent that Jonathan CANCELLED his Ondo state campaign!

Notable pastors and priests, actors, journalists, lawyers, musicians, policy makers etc etc in Nigeria have joined the "Change" chorus train asking for the voting out of Jonathan.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) also recently endorsed Buhari as their candidate.

The Ohaneze Indigbo also could not unanimously endorse Jonathan.

As it appears, Buhari has been meeting filled up stadia as he campaigns in the states while Jonathan appears to be meeting half filled stadia meagerly populated by rented crowds.

Its appears that the PDP days are coming to an end as pundits expect more defections of influential members from the PDP to the APC.

It was argued by a cross section of ill-informed Nigerians that the APC can only win on social media and newspapers but that has been debunked by the mammoth crowds that come to welcome the APC wherever they arrive.

With the entire West and North behind Buhari and South-South and South-East divided against Jonathan, many analysts and experts are beginning to reason that the Jonathanian days in Aso Rock are coming to an unmistakable end.

The religious body commonly known as “Mormons” is officially named “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.” This man-made cult is one of the fastest growing religious bodies in the world. It is also one of the richest. Its members are known for their zeal in converting others. Mormon youth are expected to give two years of service as missionaries. They are supported by their own families while doing this.

The Mormon Church began in Fayette, New York, USA on April 6, 1830. The founder was a young man named Joseph Smith. He claimed two angels appeared to him when he was fourteen years old. They told him not to join any church. A few years later, Smith said an angel led him to a hill where he found gold plates from which the Book of Mormon was translated. Smith said he completed translating them in August, 1829. Joseph Smith also claimed John the Baptist appeared to him and Oliver Cowdery and made them priests after the order of Aaron. Later, Smith and Cowdery said that Peter, James, and John appeared to them and made them priests after the order of Melchizedek. They were also made apostles at the same time, according to their claim.

In 1831, the Mormons moved to Kirtland, Ohio where they built a temple. A group moved farther west to Independence, Missouri. Here, according to Joseph Smith, God had revealed that His temple would be built. The Mormons were forced to leave Independence by local residents who opposed their teaching. They then moved to Nauvoo, Illinois. When Joseph Smith ordered his men to destroy a newspaper print shop because it was owned by his opponents, he and his brother were arrested and put in jail. An angry mob stormed the jail. They shot and killed Joseph Smith.

At Smith’s death, the Mormon movement divided. The main body followed Brigham Young to Utah. Another large group, led by Joseph Smith’s son, remained in Independence. They became known as “The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ.” Recently, they changed their name to “Community of Christ Church.” Several other smaller groups also broke away.

The Mormon Church teaches many false doctrines. They believe the Bible is only one of God’s revelations to mankind. They have their own books which are considered later revelations. These books are: The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price. However, the Bible is perfect and complete (1 Corinthians 13:8-10; James 1:25). In it God has given to us “all things that pertain unto life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3). It contains “the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3). The Bible provides everything we need to serve God and please Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17). God has warned us that we must not believe another Gospel even if it is brought to us by an angel (Galatians 1:6-9). We must not add to the Word of God (Revelation 22:18-19).

The Mormon Church has a wrong understanding of God. We must believe in the true God in order to be saved (Ephesians 4:4-6; Hebrews 11:6). The Bible teaches there is only one true God (1 Timothy 2:5; James 2:19). Mormons, however, believe in many gods. They believe Adam was the god who created the earth. They believe every man can become a god. This is contrary to the teaching of the Bible that “God is a Spirit” (John 4:24).

Mormons believe the priesthood of Aaron continues to this day. The Bible teaches that the priesthood has been changed (Hebrews 7:12). Today, Jesus Christ is the Christians’ high priest (Hebrews 4:14-16). Jesus is “a priest for ever according after the order of Melchizedek” (Hebrews 7:14-21). Mormons believe men can become priests “after the order of Melchizedek.” According to the Bible, only Jesus Christ can be such a priest.

Mormons believe one man can have many wives. They do not practice polygamy publicly any longer because it is against the law in many nations. While God permitted polygamy and divorce in the Old Testament, it was not a part of His original plan (Matthew 19:3-9). Jesus restored God’s original plan which is “one man, one wife, for life!” God’s plan for marriage today is to “let each man have his own wife” (1 Corinthians 7:2).

Mormons also practice “baptism for the dead.” They believe one can be baptized on behalf of another person who has died. The Bible teaches man must obey for himself. Each one must hear the Gospel for himself (Romans 10:17; Acts 18:. Each one must believe for himself (John 8:24). Each must repent of his own sins before he can be baptized (Acts 2:38). Each person must confess Christ for himself to be saved (Matthew 10:32-33). One cannot hear, believe, repent or confess on behalf of another person. Neither can one be baptized on behalf of another (Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12). When one has died, it is too late for him to obey the Lord (Hebrews 9:27). There is no second chance after death.

Mormons are accursed because they preach another gospel. They must obey the true Gospel in order to be saved (Hebrews 5:8-9; Romans 1:16).
